    Meadow Lawn & Landscape
Not good. The lawn was in rough shape but I was pleasantly surprised when the spring seeding they did germinated quickly and by early May I had a good looking lawn. I should have known better. Whatever seed they used had zero heat tolerance and by late July it was dying everywhere and being taken over by weeds and crabgrass. As for a maintenance program, after the spring seeding I never saw or heard from them again

    Meadow Lawn & Landscape
I've done a LOT of work with Meadow. I wish I could give them top marks, but I can't. Quality of their work is generally good to excellent. But for whatever reason they are just plain hard to get out to do the promised work. They are either overbooked, understaffed or maybe both I guess. My lawn maintenance program for example has pretty much been forgotten as far as I can tell. The work gets done eventually, but having to make phone calls over and over, reschedule after reschedule gets old

    TruGreen Lawn Care - 5730
The service was very good. They are very courteous. They always knock on the door to let you know what they are going to do and they leave a note when they are done. The weed control was not as good as I hoped.

    Tmt Turf Company Inc
We had TMT Turf for our landscaping and yard service in our old house.  Phil took our yard from the worst looking yard in the neighborhood to the best looking yard in the neighborhood.  We even won the Yard of the Month award for the neighborhood!  During the winter months, our yard was the ONLY one in the neighborhood that was still green!  The yard looked like an advertisement for one of the national yard services.  When we moved to a new house, we had to use another service for a year.  We were definitely NOT happy with the condition of our yard and landscaping and we contacted Phil and asked him to come back and take over our yard care again.  He agreed and in one short month we have seen a tremendous improvement in the condition of the yard.  We fully expect to have another beautiful yard this year.  As far as the aeration service, the crew came and provided the aeration service in a timely manner and made sure to let us know what followup care we needed to do to maximize the best results.  We would recommend TMT Turf to anyone who wants a beautiful lawn all year round!  In fact, we HAVE recommended them to several of our friends and neighbors!!  We feel confident that our yard will come in thicker and greener next year with Phil's guidance and service!  We have not received the bill for the service yet so I am not sure what the final cost will be.

    Cooper's Landscape Management
Gary stopped by on his way home and analyzed my lawn to determine what was causing certain dead/dying patches.  He teaches at the Master Gardener course in Suffolk.  He was very helpful and recommended some self help options.

    A Cut Above The Curb
Robert is a very personable and professional individual who is dedicated to providing the best service possible. During the course of our contract, I had a number of educational discussions regarding our lawn and have appreciated his expertise. He was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the service. He has a hard working team, which includes his brother, Thomas, that I found to be very friendly, respectful and dedicated. I would hire them again with full confidence.

    Freedom Land Works
The contractor arrived much later than scheduled and began walking the property - without notice.  After going outside to greet him and discuss the work, he explained he just arrived on site  But, I observed him walking more than two thirds of the property.  Nevertheless, he explained what he would be doing and proceeded to work.  He and his assistant worked well together.  They finished the job in about two hours and began to store their equipment in their trailor.  On the way to his truck he gave me instructions on watering and maintaining the lawn - while continuing to walk to his truck.  However, I had a question about another service and asked him to take a look.  He looked at the job, but appeared quite disinterested.  So, I didn't pursue the matter any further.
Overall, I found this vendor to be capable, but not someone who should be talking to customers. He would do very well to allow someone else to handle customer service on his behalf.   He is void of personality and appeared irritable on approach.
I would also suggest he provide some "written" instructions for his customers.  It's one thing to speak to someone who understands, but if it had been my wife he met with I would have had to call him to clarify and that may not have been a productive conversation.

    NaturaLawn Of America
Provider showed up unannounced!  This was a deal breaker on my part.  I had explained extensively that they were to show up only at appointed times.
The sales department had good follow up, but the actual office staff was extremely incompetent and could never get the scheduled appointments correct --- even after speaking with each individual office staff member.
Too much aggravation, so I discontinued the service.

They're okay. They come a lot but it's hard for me to tell if they've actually done what they had to do; the lawn doesn't look very good. We bought a plan and the services are covered for a year. People should make sure that they confirm that they've done what they said they did. They're extremely professional and responsive.

    Morgan's Lawn and Landscaping
After Herbie left, we noted that substantial parts of the stumps, roots and debris remained. That same day we called Morgan Lawn and Landscaping and left a voice mail message noting that what we had contracted for had not been completed. However, no one called us back. In order to have the scheduled aeration and seeding over where the trees were taken down, we had to remove 12 - 55 gallon plastic bags filled with wood chips but the stumps and roots are still in the ground.
