    We spent time learning about the various options of systems for home, as well as evaluating the positives and negatives about the equipment we were considering.  Domes assisted with these evaluations, helping us make an educated decision.  The Domes staff in the office explained things very clearly, and worked within our budget.  Then, the installers did an excellent job.  The installers were very good at helping us learn how to operate our systems.

    SVT Home Theater Installers
    I had electrician install wiring and outlets and called to schedule completion of the work but have not received a return call. I have used SVT before and was very,pleased with their work. I was trying to be a loyal and replete customer but if they don't return service calls I can't give them my business or referrals. They've left me in a pretty bad situation being without networking for a month. Sorry he has family problems but business is business. I'm moving on, good luck. I guess they're looking for the big ticket home theatre install and to heck with the day to day concerns.

    I had them work in my game room. I wanted them to mount the home theater screen and my home theater projector unit. They tried to install the devices and it took them a couple of tries to do. However, we'd agreed upon a price for the projector mount -- and somehow the price changed.  They tried really hard to make me happy & are commited to customer satisfaction.

    Chris from WSC Home Audio Video was excellent. He didn't try to upsell us on anything that we didn't need. He was incredibly easy to deal with and was knowledgeable about all of the equipment he suggested. When my husband and I couldn't decide between a few model choices, he invited us to his storefront for a demo, which helped us finally make a decision. Once the decision was made the equipment came in within the time period he promised and the installation was done quickly and efficiently. He also called to follow-up and make sure everything was good a few days after the installation.

    Came in and got the work completed within an hours and left no mess.  I had a third TV that I wasn't going to mount so he showed me how to do it and assisted in marking the walls so I would be able to mount it later that day.  Great guy with a great work ethic.

    From beginning to end, this experience was fantastic. I am cynical by nature and always on guard for bait and switch tactics. WSC called ahead to scope out the project, arrived on time with all the necessary materials and did not try and up-sell me to get additional revenue.
    This is the first company I have dealt with since moving to Hampton Roads that has exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend WSC based upon my dealings with them. If only they could do bathroom renovations....

    It went great. They could have easily sold me on a new amplifier however, they instead double checked all my wiring and corrected a few missteps. The end result was all three of my zones playing crisp and loud with no additional equipment. Rob managed to fit me in when it was convenient for me and took the time once he got here to make sure everything was running as it should. This is the second time I have used Plasma Guys and I will definitely use them for my future audio/video needs.

They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. i would highly recommend them and will definitely call on them in the future for my large and small home entertainment/audio/video needs.

    Hiring Xactec was a very lousy experience overall. I had this kind of job done at my house before, laying a cable. It never took more than 4 hours and it never cost me more than $150. When I got the invoice in the mail I was surprised. to see the job priced at $472. That much for laying a cable from a second floor room to a first floor room for rooms on top of each other!!! I called the company and a polite guy there, a marketing rep, tells me that he'll investigate the issue and get back to me, acknowledging that the price seems high for only a single-cable job. When the rep gets back to me he tells me that the price is right and that the only thing the management could do is to offer me a 15% discount, which would drop the price to $399. I said that I feel deceived. In no way, shape or form if I would have stayed home when the tech did the job and I would have seen the guy drag past 3 hours on the job I would have left him to continue like that. I offered to split the price in two, sure the Xactec management would understand my point of view. Surprise, again, they did not, the management would only agree to a 15% reduction. At this point, I concluded that money is the most important thing for this company, regardless if along the way they trample on customer satisfaction. As far as I am concerned they sold their reputation for about $200. I was completely dissatisfied with the Xactec management. I considered their "discount" just another slap, so I paid their invoice in full. But I would not expect any of them to learn anything from this. I will never hire them again. I do not recommend Xactec to anyone. An unfinished job (the cable only got image, but no sound!), damage to my house, more than twice the expected time to even do the unfinished job, and, on top of everything, super-lousy management! That's Xactec's reputation. The Xactec management had plenty of time to try to fix the botching, only to tell me in the end that it is all on me. That is how Xactec treats its customers!
    What I got from Xactec is a cable, a broken brick on the outside wall of my house, and an image without sound.
