    HEARNDON CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
It went terribly. We spent a lot of time and energy working with them, checking out the community, viewing homes, sketching plans, getting prequalified, getting specs and pricing, checking out lots, etc. We were willing to pay the extra required for the alterations to the base model and were led to believe that was possible for weeks before we were given a resounding no. No, Hearndon Construction will not do any of the things you requested and we indicated were possible.

Horrible, horrible, and I don't know what else to say. Cheapest homes ever and the service and customer service is even worse. DOUG is a real piece of work and shouldn't even be in the industry. Stick to what he knows which is ripping people off.

They caused more damage. They did not finish the job that were initially started. There was water damage in the wall. They cut the wall and cut right into the power circuit. I went to wash clothes and they cut into the pipes connected to the washer.

    CHESAPEAKE HOMES
See above for all of the wonderful details of services provided thus far. Knowing the little things means a LOT when you are building a house and they have been phenomenal. I would like to add that I am working via a realtor as well and she has a great relationship with Chesapeake Homes as well. They respect the relationship that I have with my realtor and keep her in the loop of any changes. I will update this review as we progress through this process.

    TURN-KEY CONSTRUCTION
I cannot say enough of good things about him. I had used him three times. He did bathroom renovation for us a year ago. I was extremely pleased with the job that was done and especially the professionalism and his crew. They could not do better than the hired junky. The last job I paid him a little bit more than he asked for because I felt it was well worth. He was up there in extreme heat and thought the job was done well more than he quoted for. The quality was the best. He was always on the spot for me. If he said that he would be here a certain time I know he would be here. He was extremely professional and courteous.

    RMG Construction Inc
Before we decided to go with this company, Roy gave us an address of a garage he had just finished so we could look at the quality. We also got the ask that home owner about his experience.
We met with Roy to go over exactly what we wanted and to draw up the plans to submit to our HOA. The garage had to match our  brick house to get passed.  We filled out the contract and set the date. The plans were in great detail and we had no problems with our HOA.
He started work on the date he promised, he kept informed the entire time as to what would happen each day. A guy came out and left several samples of bricks for us to match up to our house since our brick had been discontinued.
The framing crew did a super job, worked well together and were very professional. We were amazed how very  little scrap material was left over. The concrete guys and brick layers were the same way. The brick guys washed each brick when they were done, the lines of the brick look  amazing.
My only complaint would be about the roofers, they did great work but left a lot of nails and lots of cigarettes butts on the ground. This might sound like a small thing, but at the beginning of the job I told them I didn't mind if they smoked but to make sure all butts were put in the trash.
RMG built a high quality garage AND got it done two weeks ahead of schedule.  We will hire them again for our garden shed when the time comes.

    Jerry Harris Remodeling
We are very happy with them. We have used them for several years. He was Jerry Harris and then he went with a franchise company and he is now again in business as Jerry Harris Remodeling. We had huge set nail pops in the new house with an occasional plaster blobs. We had nearly a hundred places ranging from three or four nail pops to areas as large as an entire wall because it was swirl plaster. It was a third of an entire wall. When it was repaired, it had to be repaired so that it matched the existing swirl pattern. After the plastering repairs, I wound up having to completely repaint the two bathrooms, the kitchen, and the bonus room. That was how much plaster had been messed up plus dozens of other smaller places where I just had to patch here and there. I did all the painting. I got a bid on the painting and that would have cost me about $2500.00. We have had them out for little projects when they with the franchise company. It is the same company and they have the same repair people. We go back to 1992 when they built a big addition on our previous home. They are on time, respectful, and responsible. They explain everything. They are very detailed. If there is any change, you get a piece of paper explaining the change and asking you if that is what you want them to do and giving the cost. Nothing that I ever had Jerry Harris' people do ever failed except one place in the old house. There was a crack in an adjacent wall when they had the addition put on. It appeared about eighteen months later. When I called Jerry, he said they would be right out. Those are the kind of people you want working on your house. The big repair contract was about $2700.00. There were a couple of things he looked at that required more. When his plaster guy came out to actually look at the plaster job, he went back to Jerry and he told him that it would take way more than two days, which is what Jerry had said. My estimator from Jerry's company called and told me that they would take themselves out of the equation. He said they would put me directly in touch with their plaster guy. Whatever their cut was of that job, they dropped it. They put me in straight in touch with their plaster guy. I dealt directly with their plaster guy and he charged me $1500.00 for five days work. Those five days were anywhere from 10 to 12 hour days. He spent about 60 to 70 hours here. That was $25.00 an hour. Jerry could have told me that it would take them five days instead of two and that they would have to contract for another $1000.00 or whatever, but he didn't do that. I will continue to use him in the future.

    Terry Peterson Residential Company
I am satisfied with my condo. The builder fixed any problems that we had. The quality is not what you would get in a custom home, but overall it is ok. It is good to know that the property management committee will do maintenance, and I like the neighbors.
