    I've used them for two years.  They were not as responsive as I would have liked and they don't stock chemicals in the their store.  They did a good job, but I have a hard time contacting them for other jobs.  I don't feel like that is professional.

    Innovative Outdoor Living
    This project came in at budget, and was completed on time.  Jon is a busy guy, but he personally handled the details of the project and was very fair, reasonable, and accommodating as the scope of the project became very dynamic, as we added and changed along the way.  The porch is now the envy of the neighborhood, and while I waited over a year to write this--I wanted to see if any of it would fall apart, or leak, and really, everything has been great.
    Jon coordinated with an expert fireplace shop, my own door and roofing company, and my own stone mason.  He was very easy to work with and I would recommend that you give them a chance to earn your business.
    Their design folks are awesome.  The finishing touches of the Mahogany roof, and the back step design was amazing.

    Spa Solutions

    I have a 11+ year old Jacuzzi hot tub (z150) purchased from Home Depot and I needed to find a certified Jacuzzi repairman to troubleshoot why my spa was not running correctly - the control panel was flashing intermittently. I researched Angie's list and noticed Spa Solutions specialized in Jacuzzi tubs and they had excellent reviews. I called and spoke with Joe - the owner. Joe was very knowledgeable about Jacuzzi hot tubs and essentially told me over the phone that it sounded like a faulty pressure switch. Within 24hrs, Joe sent Alex, the spa service technician, to my house. Alex was equally knowledgeable and quickly confirmed it was a faulty pressure switch. After replacing the switch and cleaning the hot tub pump, Alex gave me instructions to test to make sure I also didn't have a faulty t-stat as the hot tub water temperature was reading really hot (prior to Alex draining the tub to replace the faulty pressure switch). Once Alex replaced the pressure switch, he left b/c he didn't want to charge me for the hour it would take to fill the hot tub. Unfortunately, when I filled the tub that afternoon, I now noticed a leak. I promptly called Joe back at Spa Solutions in Alexandria (I live in Sterling), and he rearranged his schedule and sent Alex back out the next morning. Alex then drained the tub and replaced a 11 year old gasket that was the cause of the new leak. Alex then waited around to fill the hot tub to ensure there were no additional leaks present. Even though an old gasket was the cause of the leak (it essentially lost its hold when Alex cleaned the pump), Spa Solution DID NOT charge me for the second visit or the new gasket! I was amazed and will always call Spa Solutions for any future repairs. They are highly knowledgeable and honest people who stand behind their work. I would highly recommend Spa Solutions.

    I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr. Miller and his team. He is very easy to work with and accommodating. It was my first year running the pool myself and he walked me through the entire process. He kept me informed of all the steps and when and if there would be any delays due to weather; which were few. I would recommend his team 100% and plan to use them for opening and closing each year along with any maintenance that is needed. Thank you Lyman!!!

    We had an original deck so Atlantic utilized the existing foot print.  They demo'd the original deck but kept the footers and joists.  They had to add some additional joists to solidify the structure for the extra weight of the enclosure.  The project went very smoothly and was completed on schedule.  We had a few mods during the install that were vetted and implemented quickly at a fair price.  Two stand-outs on this job: (1) Communication and customer service:  Throughout the job the Project Manager was continually letting us know what the status of the job was and when they expected to finish.  We also had a hose bib that needed to be moved.  Atlantic could have easily told us this was outside the scope of the project and asked for some additional money.  However, over a two-day period they were able to access the pipe from the source, make the move, and patch the ceiling in the basement.  (2) Cleanup:  Everyday as the crew was getting ready to leave, they would spend 15-30 minutes cleaning up the site.  I'm looking at my neighbor's house right now who are doing an extension and there have been boards and trash around their home for the past month.  We never had had this issue.  I was thoroughly impressed with their willingness to keep the site clean and leave each day as if the job were complete.

    Winterized pool, pump, heater and put on cover. I was not home for the service and have never had a pool so I did not know what to expect. The invoice did not say much and a friend from an out of state pool company commented on a couple items that his company does differently. I sent my concerns to Millennium and received an immediate call offering to send a service man to double check the work to go over everything with me. The serviceman gave me a great deal of confidence and I was very pleased at the promptness to assist with my concerns and educate me as a new pool owner. I did recommend a little more detail on the invoice for future customers like myself who may want to know what was done or if anything is needed to be done.I needed some anchors replaced for my cover but I was not notified, they just left them unhooked. But the quick attention to fix thinks was much appreciated.

    Jason and his team arrived and got straight to work. They were very professional and extremely helpful. This is my first time using a company to close my pool and he walked me through the entire process (even engaging my kids along the way). The closing took a little over an hour and they packed up in a flash and actually placed my personal supplies back in my pool shed for me. His prices are great, especially for the quality of work they provide.
    I would highly recommend them and even asked for an estimate to replaster/tile the pool in the spring. I look forward to working with Jason and his team again. Thank you!

    We purchased a new hot tub and the existing deck was not strong enough to hold it. We decided to get a paver stone patio installed.
    We contacted Sunburst after seeing an ad in Valpak. Sales staff was very knowledge on all products inquired upon. Design services were excellent and creative. We decided to go with a matching walkway. Our house was in need of a new roof as well.
    After the salemans described the other carpentry services offered, we contracted our roof as well.
    Everything went smoothly, finished on time and on budget. Would highly recommend.

    Terrible follow-through, price gauging, failed to complete the work and provide the parts that were quoted and paid for -- am working with credit card company to dispute charges since attempts to work with the company have failed.
    I initially contacted them to drain, clean, and refill my spa and to measure for a replacement spa cover. They measured for a new cover and delivered it about 2 weeks later - I was happy with that. What was promised on the phone call and what was actually done with respect to the cleaning service was close so I had no issue. After refilling, it was determined that the spa pack had burned out as luck would have it -- it had been working fine for 5yrs.
    I asked them for a quote for the spa pack to include a replacement top side controller. They never actually spoke with me to provide the quote, but rather left a voice mail to call for the quote, so I was surprised to come home one day to find they had replaced the spa pack - without my explicit go-ahead. I called because at the time they did not complete the work, and to discuss one other issue I wanted them to take a look at. I was told numerous times they tech would be out in a few days to complete the spa pack and top side replacement, and would look at the other issue too...it took probably 3 calls to them to constantly ask when they'd complete the job, and to ask them to please call with a recommendation for the other issue -- their follow-through was extremely poor. They did come out to complete the spa pack replacement work sometime in the weeks following my repeated calls to them.
    After I received the bill, I did some searches on the Internet to see how the price they charged (just for the replacement spa pack, not the labor) compared. I was shocked at their price and felt completely taken for a ride. I called and talked to Craig, told him the spa pack (with the exact same model number) was available on the internet for less than half. He tried to explain that it probably did not include the top side controller. It did. I asked him to review his price and let me know if there was anything he was willing to do -- especially since I never gave them the go-ahead to perform that work, since he'd never actually provided my with a quote. I feel they took advantage of the fact that they had my credit card information from my cleaning service and replacement cover orders. I also told Craig that the top side had never been installed and to follow-up and get that completed. 2 months later it has still not been completed.
    Suffice it to say, I'm massively disappointed in this company, their underhandedness, their lack of responsiveness, and their dishonesty. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.
