    Maid Bright
The cleaning girls were to come between 8:00 - 10:00 a.m. They arrived at 8:15. They cleaned everything we asked and did a good job. They did some things I didn't expect -- a few windows and window tracks. Everything smelled nice and fresh.

    DNA Pro Cleaning & Restoration
I am well pleased with the outstanding job that Mike and Jovan the technicians did in cleaning my living room, dining room and foyer hard wood floors that were way pass due for cleaning, waxing and polishing. They arrived at the time scheduled; thoroughly washed the floors (twice); applied one coat of polish and buffed them. Mike informed me that I have a tremendous wax build up from prior wax applications, and he recommended that I should have the floors sanded to restore the damage. I respected his honesty and professionalism. I will do business with DNA Fresh Carpet in the future.

    Looney's Tile & Grout
Getting a quote and setting up a time for the work was great.  They were very responsive to questions and went through the quote in detail.
They did fantastic work.  Shower looked amazing when done.  Huge difference.  Work area was clean when they left.  They even knocked some cost off the deep cleaning since it was not as much work as expected.  I would absolutely use them again.

    Next Day Cleaning Service
I purchased a Big Deal and am pleased with the purchase and service provided.
Omer contacted me fairly quickly to coordinate date/time.  I wanted the cleaning to take place fairly quickly so was happy that their schedule was able to accommodate.
The team, two maids, arrived promptly as scheduled.  While my house was already pretty clean, I explained that I was looking for them to concentrate on more of the details (tubs, floors, vacuum furniture).
They completed the work, house looks great.

    Miracle Method of Fairfax
It was a great start, with a very disappointing finish.  Brent, the owner, is delightful.  He arrived on time to give me an estimate [I was running late for an unexpected appointment, so we had to rush].  The estimate he provided was very reasonable, and I was very impressed with all of the rave reviews on Angie's list.   Our townhome was built in 1990, and I have 2 bathrooms that weren't in horrible condition, but there were some mismatched tiles we had replaced over the years, and everything was just kind of dull, dingy looking.........I was sure MIracle Method was the answer to restoring the whiteness and shine the bathrooms lacked.
The technician arrived on time, was courteous, professional, hard-working and did an excellent job of cleaning up when he finished.  A couple of days later, after the dust settled [and  the process does create a lot of fine powder, but the technician did a great job of sealing off the door so that the dust did not get all over the house] I did a quick glance and noticed some spots on the tiles where it looked as if a paper towel had imprinted on the wet paint, and there were spots were the paint had run on the grouting.  I called Brent and he had the technician come out a few days later to remedy the problem.....I was a little disappointed that Brent didn't come out himself to inspect the job, but I figured he knew what he was doing.
On cursory inspection, everything looked "okay"....but there was no shine and the surface felt rough.......I figured that was because of the fine powder on everything.  We kept the doors closed, waiting for everything to settle.....I  wanted to hold off wiping everything down because I was having a cleaning company come out to steam clean the bathroom floor tiles as well.
After the floor tiles were cleaned, I began washing down the new tub/tile expecting the bright shine to come through.......it never did.  The bathtub  and tile surfaces, although whiter, are rough feeling and dull looking.........and I found many bubbles in the paint in the grout lines....the seal/caulking around the tubs is sloppy and much too thick.  I was VERY disappointed.  The overall appearance is very tacky.......We will now probably just rip it all out and replace everything.
I emailed Brent and told him how I felt about the finished product.  To his credit, he replied immediately and asked to send someone out to 'come back and fix the problems.'  Again, I was surprised that he did not ask to come out himself to see what I was talking about.  Because the prior attempt to fix the problem didn't fix the problem, I declined his offer ....perhaps I should have specifically requested that he come take a look.  But if  I have to make such a request, it reduces my confidence in a business and its commitment to quality.
I have never before posted a negative comment on Angie's List....but I think the biggest disappointment was the owner's response when I told him that I did not have faith that the problem could be corrected without completely redoing the job, he STILL didn't suggest coming out to take a look, but replied:  "Sorry you feel that way."   He should have inspected the job and offered us some type of refund..........
If you're considering using Miracle Method, I would strongly suggest that you go to the showroom and view what the finished product is SUPPOSED to look like.  I don't think it's supposed to turn out the way mine did or they would have gone out of business a long time ago.

    POTOMAC STONECARE
The shower walls were dull and uneven.. The marble vanity had many ring marks. Potomac Stonecare restored, polished and sealed all of the marble in my bathrooms. It looks amazing. We are very happy with the work and would highly recommend them. The stone tech that came out gave me a free estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. We were extremely pleased with the efficient and attentive care given to the details.

    Looney's Tile & Grout
It was fine. The initial response was timely, but then I didn't feel they did what I want them to do. They told they will come back and do it, but they never did. I had to call them and it was before two or three months they get back. It seems they forgotten. The young fellow that they sent did a very good job. I had little pinholes in the tiles and the shelves and I didn't want to redo the whole thing. He did that a very nice clean job. I probably would not use them again.

    A Cleaning Service
I do not give such negative reviews lightly.  I used A Cleaning Service for several years on a bi-weekly basis.  In the beginning, I was very happy with the cleaning crew's work in cleaning the first floor of my home (including the master bedroom and bath).  In fact, the original cleaning crew went so far as to move and clean under the couch in the family room, cleaning out the coffee pot, and folding laundry left in the laundry basket, all of which impressed me.
However, over the past few months, I noticed that the job became increasingly poor.  I am home during the cleaning, and during the last several jobs, I did not even hear the vacuum cleaner running.  Upon inspection after the 3-person crew left, I had to go behind them and clean the vanity tops in the bathroom (which still had a bit of toothpaste on them), the stove top (which was still completely dirty), the appliances (fingerprints remained), the baseboards, the plantation shutters, the tops of tables, the floors, etc.  I could tell they had not vacuumed the carpets, cleaned the baseboards or mopped the floors because I would find dog hair and dirt remaining on these surfaces.  In fact, the service had gone from the usual 1 1/2 (or more) hours to approximately 35 minutes!  It was really bad.
When I contacted Beatriz, she put up a bit of a fuss saying she was unable to change the crews.   She continually asked me if I wanted her to send back the same crew that day.  I repeatedly told her NOT to send them back.  But, about an hour after speaking to her, all of a sudden the 3-person crew walks back into my house (no knocking or doorbell).  I had already gone behind them and cleaned everything and they told me they could not see what had not been done (I kept explaining to them that I had done it all myself, but none of them really spoke English).  I finally had to talk to someone in the office to get them to leave and to get a new crew assigned.
The next time, the new crew spent 2 hours cleaning and did a really nice job, so I continued with them.  The second time, however, I found that the shower faucet handle in the master shower had been completely broken off from the inside (when removed you could see that someone had turned the handle to the off position with such force as to crack the plastic inside completely in half).  I contacted Beatriz to let her know, and she has refused to take responsibility for it saying that it could have been normal wear and tear.  I told her that it worked just fine the evening before they came and then not at all right after they left, but she continues to refuse to take responsibility or pay for it (BTW, it's probably a $10 fix).  I have had to send her pictures of the damage (I offered to allow someone from her company to come and look at it, but she did not accept).  Given that I have used her services for several years now, it is beyond me why she would doubt me about the circumstances of this incident (none of the people on the crew reported the breakage to me before they left as is their "policy" and I am told they have said it worked fine when they left).  I also explained to her that this was not the first incident of breakage or damage (there were 3 others in the past), but I did not report any of them because I assume the risk of that happening when strangers are cleaning my house (in the past I've had to replace a $40 soap dispenser and a $25 glass bowl on a coffee grinder due to breakage and have had to repair furniture damage).
In any event, I have now canceled their services.  I find the resistance to accepting responsibility and paying for a $10 part to be unacceptable, particularly in light of how long I have used their services.  That coupled with the very poor cleaning service of the last crew over a period of time has caused me to seek other services.  Whereas I would have recommended their services in the past, I would not do so now.  I think good cleaning services are hard to find, but I would skip this one based on the deterioration of the quality of their cleaning services and their very poor customer service.

    DNA Pro Cleaning & Restoration
DNA did an excellent job of cleaning the carpets.  They performed a pre-inspection to see what areas required spot treatment as well as moved boxes and other small items in order to clean.  The team were extremely professional and very friendly.
I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends and family.
