    Basement Masters Waterproofing
This was a rehire because I had some work done by Basement Masters at my previous home and their work was excellent. They arrived on time and completed the project on schedule. They had ordered the wrong size window, but they ordered another one and got it here very quickly. We went with a premium fiberglass window well (looks like it is made of stone blocks), a clear polycarbonate well cover, and a premium window, so the job was not inexpensive. They had to excavate down about seven feet to install the window well. They verified that the drainage at the base of the foundation would properly drain away any water that might get in the well, but with the polycarbonate well cover, very little water ever gets in the well. The polycarbonate well cover also keeps out leaves, animals, debris, and keeps people from falling in the well. The workers were courteous, explained what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves. Everything was done in a professional manner, and as before, the quality of work was excellent. I highly recommend this company.

It went well.  I was hoping to get some work done but only received advice.  The work I need done is very minor and this company doesn't do that type of work.  However, I did get good advice and I'll be doing the work myself.

We did a lot of research when selecting a company to repair a water issue in our basement. Basement Masters was kind and professional from the first phone call to the very last handshake. Of the companies we received estimates from, they were by far the fastest and best with follow up, as well as fairly priced. When we hired them, their paperwork was thorough, and hand off to repair work was seamless. The project manager on the job and the crew were all highly professional and efficient workers. The owner, Randall, even came out to inspect the work himself and say hello. We ultimately learned that Basement Masters stands behind their work and their word. We did have follow-up needs on our job during a snow weekend. Neither the weather, nor the weekday compromised their attentiveness or response time. If you hire Basement Masters, you are hiring a company that thinks from a customer first perspective and strives to do what is right.

Punctual arrival.  Explained the process; however, the estimate was strictly hand-written with only and did not provide exact details of the procedure, the type of sump pump being sold, or the scope of the work, which WAS provided on the three other estimates we received.   Did not use -- went with another service contractor for around the same cost.

We purchased the offer as we had some water leaking into our rental property basement. The company indicated that since our total would be $2200, we would be better off 20% off of the total prices so we accepted that statement. work went well, crack seems to be fixed. We called them to deal with a basement problem in June when the water table at our home caused seepage. Work was again done as stated. I am not happy with the slope we now have in the floor as it settled and am trying to get that addressed before we put our flooring back in. I had thought we had an agreement to handle the electricity to the new sump pump differently, so working to resolve this as well.

Had purchased Big Deal to tune up sump pump but when he tried to test it, we found it was not working.  The technician provided estimate to replace the pump.  Had no point of reference on pricing since had not expected to replace but seemed reasonable.  He had one on the truck so I did go ahead and have them install a new one.  They had said they would call back in a year to perform the tune up on the new unit but that did not happen.  That is only reason I did not give them an "A" rating.  I would like to add the pump has worked great for the past two years and I would use this company again if I had a problem.

My main water pipe broke 3 years ago.     I had a company replace the water pipe.   I always felt that they didn't add enough topsoil when they closed up the hole, and shortly thereafter I had water in my basement.     They came by and tarred up the basement wall .  Periodically, there would  be water in the basement, and they would out again and add more tar.   At the beginning of the month there was more water in the basement.    I found Basement Technologies on Angie's List,   it had very good reviews, and I called on October 10.   Brian called back right away.    I sent pictures of where the water was coming in, and set up an appointment for October 17.   Jay came out to do an inspection, and we set up an appointment for today.
They were scheduled to arrive between 8:00am and 9:00am.    They arrived at 9:00, which is very good considering how bad the rush hour traffic is.     They were done by 10:30.    They put the cement around the pipe, added more topsoil,   tarred the outside wall, and tested to make sure there were no leaks.
I  wish that I had called  them after the first leak instead of dealing with the first company .   I would highly recommend Basement Technologies.

The crew arrived on time on the scheduled day and got to work quickly. Plastic sheeting was placed around the work area to keep the dust to a limited area.  The crew chief explained what they were doing and answered questions as they arose.  Mr Butterfied, the owner, came by both days  to check on things.  The work was completed in two days, the allotted time.  The appliances and plumbing were returned to their original positions when the work was finished and the area was cleaned before the crew left.

They did a great job. Water from behind three houses that are uphall from us flowed like a river during heavy rain and was filling up our window wells. This water would then leak into the basement. They installed one 6" pipe from a catch drain to a pop up by the road and had all the gutters and the sump pump dump into 6" drain too.
A great job done by all. We've had several hard rains and the water doesn't collect at all any longer.
    Highly recommend!!

The "sales" person was pleasant and informative until it got to my making a decision.  At that point the estimate was reduced by $3,000 to approximately $15,500 if I were to sign on the dotted line right then and there.  I did not.   A few days later I had a call from the home office telling me that they might be able to work with me on a lower price and that I should contact them before making a final decision for my work to be done.  I never contacted them again.
