Ginney is an outdoor dog due to my daughter's allergies. Don't be judgement when you don't all the facts. All we need is a puppy cut to keep her cool in the summer, no toenail trimming, no anal gland squeezing. Like us, she's happily no fuss and low maintenance. Finding a reasonably priced groomer that understands this is hard, especially since they want to charge for all the high end services. Ginney has a very nice dog house with a front porch and ceramic covered heater. I even handmade her winter dog bed from a microfiber beach towel which I refill with cedar shavings because they repel pests, dry quickly and the bed greatly reduces fur matting. I dump out the shavings, wash the towel and save it for next fall. She enjoys regular long walks and is more loyal than most indoor dogs. Better yet, she may be 10 but she's as active and healthy as a 4 yo. She can run circles and leap walls around sedentary indoor dogs, manning the yard and chasing after her favorite chipmunks.

I love this place. My mother, who lives in Maryland, is no longer able to take care of her cat (Babe) so he has become my cat. I needed a good groomer closer to me in Northern Virginia, several were suggested by our new Vet, including Olde Towne Pet Resort. After reading a number of online reviews for several groomers on various websites I decided to try Olde Towne. So happy I did. So much information is available on their website including links to video tours and interviews by local media. After filling out the online form for our first visit I sent several questions via email, it never took long to get a reply. You can even pay an additional $20 if you want expedited service, which meant a grooming visit which took 3 hours or more at other groomers only took 1 hour, and Babe (a white Persian) looked beautiful. He was also very calm when I picked him up so I know he was treated well. From the moment you enter you do feel you are at a very special resort for pets. The lobby is large and very nice with a play area for pets. The entire staff is professional, courteous and obviously want to ensure you and your pet are happy. I don't have a need for anything other than grooming at this point, but they are a full-service resort for dogs and cats offering boarding, day camp and training. Their prices are fair and reasonable. I definitely recommend Olde Towne Pet Resort.

Always an excellent experience. They do a great job taking care of our dog and she loves being there with the staff. Facilities (Springfield) are clean and well maintained. Grooming services are generally good with the exception of sometime forgetting to trim her dewclaws (sp?).

Although she does not typically work on weekends, Marcie went out of her way to take care of our "baby." She spent nearly an hour working on her and did an exceptional job. We have had multiple groomers over the years but were never quite satisfied until now. Thanks for the great service!

Their prices are competitive. They did a great job. We have use them for years for grooming, boarding, and even doggy day camp. If you want they will put a human in a pool and give your dog a workout of sprinting. They are very clean. You can do a tour of the facility. It does not smell. They know our dogs. They have great hours. They are very professional.

Now that they fired the one groomer I did not like, I will use them a lot more.  I have had pretty good experiences here. They are long-haired dogs. This is what pulls them way up, the price is very reasonable. The grooming depends on which groomer you get. You have to make your appointment ahead of time because they get booked. They are punctual, but it does take a while. I wonder sometimes how happy my dogs can be staying there that whole time but they are very good for the price. My dogs are very worn out when they get home, like hours after. They take the dogs right in. You can drop your pet and give courtesy calls at whatever number you leave them during the final touches so you can come over and get your dog. That way if you are out running errands you can finish your last errand and go get your dog so that the dog is not waiting there.

The groomer did an okay job, definitely not great.  Usually after I get my dog groomed, he sheds a little less but not this time.  He was shedding just as much when I got him back.  The part that was the most worrisome is that when the groomer first came and approached my dog, he barked at her.  She jumped back and told me she was scared.  I expect dog groomers to have a little more experience with dogs and be able to handle a dog that is barking.  Her lack of experience was clear.

My sister called for a mobile groomer since my dog rolled in poop. He came when I was at work under my sisters guide. He was instructed to wash and brush - clean ears- cut nails. My sister was in a rush and payed him prior to leaving for an appointment but didn't check my dog and David did not say he hurt her. When I got home from work I noticed her face and ears still had poop on/in them and and he shaved a knot behind her ear and cut a 2-3 inch radius.
I called him and he denied it stating he did a great job - and can't say what happened after he left. He said he cleaned her ears- which he didn't- poop still in ear. He said he cleaned it. I told him he was lying . He said we were not communicating and he hung up on me.

They are good. I have been using them for 20 years. They are very comparable in this area and they are pretty good. All the doctors there are very good. All the vets are very professional. All round they are really good.

This is the second time I've taken Griffin in for grooming, trim, bath, nails, etc.  I decided due to Angie's list to give them a try.  I am so glad I did.  Both times are the best grooms my Bichon has ever had.  I have been positively happy and impressed with the service and Griffin seems much more at ease with the whole process now.  He just turned 3 in March (named him after RGIII).

I would recommend Annandale Pet Spa to anyone.  Very pleased I checked Angie's list.  Will definitely continue going there!!
