    Four Sales LTD
    Four Sales personnel really know their business. From initial visit through site clean up and settlement, they communicate what's going on and answer all questions. Work from setup though actual execution of sale is spot on. We suffered a power outage which caused our first sale to have to be shut down early. Daniel contacted me immediately and suggested we restart the sale the following weekend which went very well. Mark kept me apprised of what was going on and strove to correct a couple of glitches which, I suspect, tend to happen in big estate sales. A note to the wise: Listen to what Daniel and Mark tell you or suggest. Be aware that even though you mark things NFS (not for sale) mistakes can happen. Mark fixed one, couldn't retrieve some barstools from the other one but did offer a reimbursement which, in light of the whole sale, was fine. Best advice I would have would be to actually physically remove items you don't want sold or disposed of or be there during clean up to make sure something doesn't get trucked off. Don't go during the sale - Daniel will tell you that this can be emotionally distressing and I believe him. So, yes I would hire again. Four Sales made a tremendous amount of stuff "go away" and did generate some really great sales figures for me.

    The sales experience was average. Nothing noteworthy good or bad. The delivery experience is when this gets interesting. On the first delivery day one guy showed up to carry and put together all the bedroom furniture. He had to roll the dresser up the driveway end over end because it was impossible to carry it on his own. I helped him bring it in the house and into the room. Four pieces of the furniture was damaged or left the factory in poor condition. Its unclear however four pieces had to be replaced. Neil from Kids-2-Teen store was very apologetic and ensured that they would correct the issues. Several weeks pass by with no calls. I call to check the status and Neil was on vacation and no one else could tell me what was going on and I was told I needed to call back when he was done with his vacation. When I finally reach Neil its seems he doesn't know or have control over the delivery process it seemed odd to me however after much time the second round of furniture was delivered. This time two people came to make the delivery. Three of four new pieces were damaged or in poor condition. When I spoke to Neil this time I felt as if he was frustrated that I actually wanted furniture that was in perfect condition. Two of the pieces he refused to address and agreed to do something about only one piece. That brings us to today when that one piece was brought here and it was the floor model from the store. I know you will be surprised to hear that the floor sample was damaged. Broken in fact and had many cosmetic issues. So I'm back on the phone trying to talk to Neil who is apparently the only person who can help me but also doesn't know anything about the delivery process. This has been and continues to be a very frustrating process.

    When we ordered the mattress and furniture, we were told it would take 8 weeks for delivery and given a specific date to expect delivery unless they notified us otherwise.  A week before that date, I called the store to ask if everything was good with the order and they said everything was fine because they hadn't heard anything from the warehouse.  The delivery person called a few days before the date and scheduled a delivery window.  When the truck came, he only had the mattress and not the bed frame or the chest of drawers.  He said he thought the furniture was shipped to us directly.  We asked about the option of having him take the mattress back and wait until the bed frame was available, but were told that the mattress would be stored in the warehouse coiled up and that it wouldn't be good for it.  So, we accepted delivery of the mattress even though it meant that our daughter would be sleeping on a mattress resting on the floor with no bed frame. 
    We called the store to try to find out what happened to the furniture, but they didn't know.  They said the warehouse was closed over the weekend and probably the furniture was there but didn't get loaded on the truck by mistake.  On Monday, we called again and also left a message for the Operations Manager but didn't hear anything back until near the end of the day.  They said that they didn't have the furniture and were trying to check with the furniture manufacturer about the status but hadn't heard anything back.  They seemed very unconcerned about the problem and I asked if this was something that happened often. They said that the furniture manufacturer, Bedworks of Maine, is often late with their shipments and does not keep them notified of the status and does not return phone calls.  We had to call back several more times to check on what was happening, and finally they said that we would get the furniture on a date three weeks after the original promised date.  The furniture was delivered on that date.  It's okay but not wonderful considering how expensive it was.  Also, the mattress is very floppy when lifted rather than having a rigid framework around it like other mattresses we've had.  My daughter seems okay with it, though.  Because we complained so much, they offered us some free bedding, but they whined that it really wasn't their fault, that it was the fault of Bedworks of Maine.  They said their only mistake was not realizing that the furniture hadn't been delivered to them as scheduled and proceeding with a partial delivery.  However, we bought the furniture through them, and they did not mention any issues with Bedworks of Maine at that time.  So they are responsible for what happened.

    Warehouse Showrooms
    It was wonderful. The pieces that we selected had examples that were in the showroom. We ordered them customized to fit our office space (drawer style, hardware, computer placement, finish etc.). The finished product s were built and delivered in a couple months and were and are beautiful. We wound up with a 5 foot desk, and large and smaller book shelves. We also ordered 2 linen press types of standing closets and they also came out beautiful. Since most of the furniture sold there is hand made to order, there are not usually a lot of free standing pieces to buy off the floor, but there are some. WE also bought all the pieces during a sale period which made it even better.

    Very helpful in finding the correct chair.  Even allowed me to take a chair home to see if it was a "good fit".  It was, so The Chair Shop ordered us the same chair but in our requested color of white.
    Very much a customer service oriented company.  Strongly recommend this store.

    GREEN FRONT FURNITURE INC
    We were pleased with the furniture selection and service. The floor sample was sold but they gladly pulled one from their on site warehouse and allowed us to examine and try it before purchasing. We saved the delivery charge by taking our selection with us when we made the purchase. When we look for furniture again, we will return to their showroom.

    We went to Warehouse Showrooms in mid-October to look for a couch. The store is well-rated in Washington Consumers Checkbook, and we have done business with them in the past. The salesman was friendly and very helpful. We brought home fabric samples and printed information about several styles, then went back a few days later to place an order. We were told the order would take about six weeks, though possibly less. In fact, it took more like nine weeks. However, we are happy with the furniture and would do business with them again.

    Delivery of the sofa went well. When I called to complain about the sofa, I was told that furniture was only returnable in the first 3 days, which I had not been informed about. They asked if I had pictures (which I did) and sent me a form to fill out via e-mail. The file was unable to upload photos, so a representative had to come to my house to look at the couch. I specifically requested that the representative show up after 3 pm when I was available. Unfortunately, he showed up at 10:20 and spoke to a babysitter. He fluffed the couch cushions and said they were fine. Unfortunately, I do not believe that a brand new couch should have to be fluffed. The cushions are misshapen and I requested that they be replaced. Haverty's denied my request, so I am not stuck with an expensive couch that looks horrible.

    We worked with Marc Rosenthal, who was knowledgeable about furniture in general but also about the store's inventory, manufacturers, styles, materials...basically every aspect of the furniture buying purchase. We started with the sofa and had some very specific features we were looking for. Often the furniture is customizable, e.g. different lengths, leg and arm styles, etc. One wouldn't know that just by walking the showroom floor. But once Marc knew what our size limitations were and what styles we liked - including the kind of tuft we wanted on our sofa - he immediately helped isolate choices that met our needs. He showed us items with a variety of price ranges and pointed out the varying degrees of quality. Belfort has a low price guarantee for everything they sell. They also have financing, protection plans, and one price delivery. Marc explained all of these things briefly but there was absolutely no pressure.
    We felt like he was really listening and paying attention to our likes and dislikes, and was pretty honest about telling us when he didn't think the quality was what we were looking for or the price was more than we wanted to spend. After narrowing our favorite sofas down to 2, we moved on to the TV console. Again, Marc walked us through the Design Center as well as the regular showroom to help us find what we were looking for. We found one we liked and moved on to the island. The islands in stock in the small size we needed didn't have the look that matched our kitchen, so we decided to put that purchase on hold and keep looking. Then we went back to look at upholstery and narrow our sofa choices down. Marc was great about giving us time on our own to look and guidance when we needed it.
    I should also mention that it was Labor Day weekend, so the place was a complete zoo. But Marc made us feel like we were his only customers. At one point, he saw some customers of his that had come back to the store to buy more. They said they didn't see him when they arrived so began working with someone else. They said and quot;we hope you don't work on commissionand quot;, and Marc said and quot;yes, we do, but don't worry, you will be in good hands with [other guy]and quot;. I thought that was a good sign that he was not focused on just the buck. He was generous and polite and considerate. AND, we brought our 15 month old with us...not only did Marc take his time as we wobbled through the store, but at one point he helped keep our son entertained while we looked at fabric.
    I think the service we received was stellar. I can't say whether all of the consultants are as good as Marc. But the store is a family owned business and is clean, well stocked and maintained, offers a variety of styles and prices and pieces, and I felt no pressure whatsoever to buy at that moment. I would go back anytime I needed to buy furniture. We weren't really looking forward to shopping on Labor Day weekend, but ended up really having fun and getting some great ideas for other areas of our home.
    I would definitely recommend finding an associate who can help you navigate this enormous campus. Like I said earlier, we would not have known which items were offered in different sizes, finishes, with different features and options unless we had Marc by our side helping us.

    Excellent. Rosemary was so patient with us that we left the store with a new sofa that is the perfect fit for our room. We spent a lot of time in the store but Rosemary never gave up on us and she was never pushy or impatient. We were able to buy a floor model and the manager gave us a good sale price so we left the store very happy. We had a great experience and highly recommend this store, and especially Rosemary.
