From initial contact with their sales department we've had a great experience, Corey did an excellent job of taking pictures and showing the problems in our attic. Their level of communication from emails to phone calls was precisely correct by contacting me when needed and not too much with pictures detailing each solution and its associated cost. On the first work day their crew called ahead of time, arrived promptly and came prepared with masks, plastic sheeting, full body outfits and cloth covering for the stairs. In just over 6 hours they had cleaned up the entire attic removing bad sub-floor and other insulation, laid out the foundation for building a large deck space and placed part of the first layer of materials down. They also sealed the attic door along with some of the air vents and ceiling fans. They completed insulating my front porch overhang and cleaned up all of their mess very well. Painters tape was used on corners where they we’re most likely to bump into it for protection and plastic sheeting was setup precisely where needed to keep dust off of our hallway things next to the attic entrance. Overall it was a great first day and they even spotted an issue from a previous vendor who failed to properly connect some of their duct work together (which was the original cause of my daughter’s room temperature being so hard to control the temperature and not easy to spot). The only complaint I have is that while I fully expected the need to finish our attic sub-floor, remaining layers of TruSoftTM Cellulose on the main floor and encapsulate the duct lines with Polyurethane Spray Foam all before finishing with blown-in insulation, they left a key piece incomplete. When leaving they left the duct work leading from our main trunk line to my daughter’s room off. This left a hole in the main trunk line reducing heat in all upstairs rooms but most important is that nothing was connected to my daughter’s room. So around 6:00am she woke up coughing as we noticed the upstairs was around 56 degrees. Overall a simple heads up would have solved everything as we have space heaters, however I did not look into the attic when they left so that’s my fault for not knowing a key piece of the duct line was missing. Based on the overall work complete I would still very much recommend them as Robert (onsite team lead) was very good at communicating and the crew we’re all quite friendly. Their work will last for the lifetime of my house and has already added value to the sale price. In the end they made a really nice attic deck leaving me with plenty of useable storage space. While this is not the cheapest company, the quality and knowledge that I never need to worry about my attic again is certainly worth it.

Tony Colella was my point of contact, and he was amazing.  Very responsive and cooperative.  I did all of the solar panel financial payback modelling myself, and he answered a great many questions for me, and gave me repeated quotes for systems of different sizes, and always with a great attitude.  The house is now tightly sealed and extremely well insulated.  My last several electric bills have been around $12 - $60.  A++++.  This was an expensive project, in up-front cost terms, but with financing (arranged by me, not EDGE, FYI) it's near cash flow neutral, so it was worth every penny.

    Style Roofing
Style Roofing was responsive, engaged and very professional. From the time that I first made contact with Bill, right through to the completion of the project, the work was done on time, on quote and handled with a personal touch. Our new roof and gutter system looks great. The Style Roofing crew took care to ensure that any of my questions were promptly addressed and they completed the job with a clean sweep of the property before leaving. It is a pleasure to work with a company that takes pride in the product it delivers. At this point, Style Roofing has exceeded all of my expectations.

    Virginia Foam Insulators, LLC
They were terrific. Planning: The salesman, Randall and owner James were very knowledgeable. I researched various types of insulation extensively and contacted 5 different companies. I was shocked that several proposed a "flash and batt" approach with less than the required minimum of closed cell foam for the 'flash'. This would have resulted in condensation inside the wall and been a disaster. There are people out there who say they do spray foam insulation who don't know what they're doing. Randall and James know their insulation. They worked with me when I wanted a thicker application than what they usually do. They use a brand of spray foam that hasn't had the issues that another manufacturer has had. Scheduling and communication: They kept every appointment and notified me of progress. My construction process was repeatedly delayed because of all the snow storms and other factors, and Randall was fabulous to keep me in their queue of work so that when I was ready, he was able to get me into the schedule. Work: The crew was great. The foam job was really well done. They didn't try to rush things and apply too much foam at once. The foam was uniform, had no "off" smell, adhered well and was applied to the specified thickness. They thoroughly caulked and spot foamed all the windows, doors, sills and framing junctures. I checked their work each evening and asked questions each following morning. They were happy to answer questions and make any changes I requested. They cut the foam back so it wasn't protruding out of the cavity. Their batt work was really good. They stapled the batts in place where there was paper, and the FSK paper was applied very neatly. My drywaller says it's the best spray foam job he's ever seen. They cleaned up really well after themselves. James, the owner, came out to work on the last day and performed the blower door test, so I felt like he had interest in the quality of the job that the crew was doing. Blower Door test: I decided to have a blower door test performed to check the job, and it went really well. I was impressed at how tight my house is. Price: They were more expensive than my other top option, but I am satisfied that it was worth it.

Mr. Chris Myers first met with us and we discuss what we needed and what was best for our home and wallets. Once we agreed in what was going to be done, he gave us a price and they began the work. Mr.Myers was very nice and always showed when he said he would. His employees were also very nice and got the work done. At the end of the day they cleaned up their tools and any mess that was done. The end results were FANTASTIC!!!!
