Very well. The vet took her time and thoroughly examined the dog. Explained the different shots and tests available. She really got to know the dog. Even sat on the floor with the dog! We spread the shots out over three visits because the dog was a rescue and we were not sure how she would respond. We also live close to the vet so it's a quick trip. The only complaint I had is on the first follow-...

Have you ever wondered if your Veterinarian was overcharging you and over treating your pet? At Aldie Vet/Dulles South, you can know. We brought our 11 month old puppy in after an evening of vomiting, suspecting she might have found an ibuprofen or two on the floor. Diagnostics came to nearly 1,200 thanks to two unnecessary (and expensive!) xrays. Dr. Barnes told us that the puppy's blood tests ca...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Our puppy may or may not have ingested ibuprofen. 4000 dollars later, they couldn't even tell us definitively.

They had a special diet for our little Yorkie and we got the wet and dry food through them and that's what that was.

They have very convenient hours. They have weekend hours. They also have a kennel; they do kenneling for boarding. They're just great with the dogs. The staff is very friendly. The older dog, has glaucoma and Shelby had to take her to a specialist for eye treatment a few years ago. They would always call and check on her. We'd call and see how she's doing. They even sent her wall cards. They have ...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We kenneled them there over the weekend. They also got some updated shots. They each had to get current work shots, flea and tick shot and something else.

I have been taking my dog to Aldie Vet since he was 10 weeks old. He is now 4 years old. I called in the morning and told them I thought my dog may have an ear infection. Although they did not have an appointment time available, they squeezed us in, which I greatly appreciated. Although this appointment was only for a quick exam, I take my dog to them for everything...grooming, kenneling, doctor v...
