They showed up on time, performed the work expertly, cleaned up the job site, and presented a bill for exactly the amount of the estimate. They are bonded, insured, and have excellent equipment. They have done two jobs in our immediate neighborhood and have done excellent work in both instances.

Warren Hardy came to the door a few days before Thanksgiving offering to do tree work. My eighty-five-year-old mother asked him how much he would charge to cut down and remove a tree. He looked at it, told her how he would remove it, and quoted her a price of $450 dollars, to which she agreed. On Thanksgiving day, he showed up with two associates. Mr. Hardy told my mother that his associate said that to remove the tree, he would have to remove a second tree, and asked her for an additional one hundred fifty dollars, for a total (so far) of $600 dollars. They cut down the two trees after taking down a split rail fence on our property to do so. He came in the house to get his money and assured my mother that he would return Monday to cut up and remove the trees and erect the fence. The next morning, (Friday) he returned, and told her that he would need an additional one hundred dollars to complete the job. My 85-year-old mother agreed, without telling me. Monday he returned and worked, in the rain, cutting up and removing the logs. Because he worked in the rain, he ruined the spot in my lawn where he worked. He went away and did not replace the fence. He also ran over my rain gauge with his little tractor. I can only get a busy signal on his phone and he has not replaced the fence. He did a decent job cutting the trees, but make sure you get make an agreement in writing. My guess is he is neither insured nor bonded.
