    NOT WELL. K&D was back at the house on 10 July to say the machine needed another new bearing. Since this time, I have received nothing but a runaround from K&D - the part hasn't come in and they'll call when it does is the best I could get out of them. Today, when they refused to answer my calls, I was forced to call Maytag directly and speak to one of their Customer Relations Leaders. Armed with a full history of dates and times, they agreed that K&D's performance was unsatisfactory and they would resolve the issue.

    Tommy D Appliance Repair
    I selected this company because I like to support small businesses. They did not answer calls nor did they return calls promptly. We paid them to come out and they diagnosed one thing but it turns out it's not that. Then the story became, that part is on backorder and you should consider buying a new unit. The part is not on backorder. If you need an appliance fixed, do yourself a favor call the manufacturer before calling a local repair company.

    The technician showed up on time and took apart the dryer.  He diagnosed the dryer as needing a tune up kit and told me it was going to be $250.00 approximately to fix it.  I told him the dryer was 10 + years old and I was not prepared to spend $250 on a dryer that old.

    I called because my GE Side by Side refrigerator would not dispurse water, but would dispurse ice. A technician promply called me back and had looked up my product and told me how to fix it on my own. Come to find out there was a recall on the product where the water line freezes because of a lack of insulation. Unplugging the refrigerator for about 4 hours seemed to have fixed the problem. Thanks guys. Your my first call next time around.

    After having our kitchen remodeled (and our Bosch dishwasher moved to a different location in the kitchen) the "sanitized" light would no longer light up on the dishwasher.  A friend recommended we call George with G & H.  He scheduled us for the very next day, arrived on time, was personable and very professional.  He was very thorough and did all that was possible to correct the problem, including reconnecting dishwasher hoses that the kitchen remodel person had connected incorrectly.  As it turns out, even the manufacturer can't correct the problem.  Bottom line:  George was dealing with a problem that can't be repaired.  He did all that could possibly be done and we will definitely hire him again for any and all appliance repair that we need.

    I call Joseph Saturday morning and he was at my home Saturday afternoon. Joseph Godbolt responded promptly to my call to repair my front load washing machine (would not spin). He serviced us the same day and was very professional. The door lock switch needed replaced (part $83) and his labor was $135, right within the range he quoted. I would recommend Joseph highly.

They work with all of my renters and I've never had any compliants from any of them. They schedule the work directly with the tenant as well.

    Initial call on Friday afternoon at 4:50pm was handled by a knowledgeable person. I'm always afraid when I call someone at that time, they may have "one foot out the door", but that was not the case. Estimator(Rich)arrived on time, quickly did his job, then provided a documented cost estimate. When I told him I got the contractors name from Angie's List, he immediately applied a 10% discount to the cost. Installer(Ken Brown)arrived the next day on time, running the new wiring quickly, despite some unforeseen interference from a large vent duct. He carefully installed the microwave oven using extra lag bolts to improve the support strength. He explained what he was doing, and why, at each step, then cleaned up thoroughly at the end.
