    Monarch Electric provided a proposal for material and labor, then gave me a date for the work to be performed. The crew arrived on time, were extremely professional, and finished earlier than anticipated. They cleaned up thoroughly after they were finished, and I could not be happier with the work. I will definitely call them again with my next electrical project or repair.

    The estimator and installer were both professional and responsive. The two outlets look great, the drywall looks perfect. One outlet was wired from an outlet on the side of the wall, and the other outlet had to be run from a switch up to attic and down into another wall. A little expensive, but considering no drywall damage, and the difficulty of threading wire up and down wall cavities, I am happy that I did not try to do it myself!

    Have never had a problem we could not work through. From pending hurricanes to subcontractors not showing up. Total was always there for me in the end. If something went wrong I TRUSTED them to go and fix it even if I was not home. Would recommend Gene Firth to anyone, there is not a better more hones contractor around.

    I am a first-time customer and a long-time member of Angie's List. After a few attempts with securing service from three other local electricians, I decided to contact Gault Electric after reading the reviews of Gault's performan on Angie's List. From the moment I spoke with Rhonda on the phone to make the appointment, I was very sure I was going to get good service.. Rhonda is so pleasant and helpful with giving helpful information and scheduling. The electrician, Paul H., and his helper, Troy, gave a pre-arrival call with a 15-minute window on the date of the appointment. I was impressed with not only their professionalism and neat work, but also their easy and friendly nature, in performing with work needed. They are a couple of really nice guys. The cost of the job, minus the generous discount coupon, was a welcomed surprise, and very much appreciated by this retiree. I am looking forward to Paul and Troy returning to complete my future electrical needs. Many thanks to Gault Electric.

    The two gentlemen were very polite and worked well together and separately on different tasks. They cleaned up afterwards and I am pleased with the work performed. I was waiting to write the review until the plumber installed the dishwasher but that has not happened as yet.. If the work under the kitchen sink matches the other work performed I am sure all will be fine.

    Conduit at pier is showing and wires were just laid in attic and in crawl space. I contacted ET Lawson and they stated they would send someone out to repair it. A few months later, I went under the house to find wires zip tied to the coax cable and the wire in the attic still laying where it was before. We use this company for our a/c needs and they are great when it comes to that. Stay away from the electrical side of this company!

    The owner was fine. The electrician he sent did not appear to be functioning well according to our tenant. When the tenants arrived home on day one it appeared there was money missing from a purse and bureau. This was reported to the company owner who

    stated he would address it after the job was complete. The tenants came home on day two to find that the electrician had left holes in both the wall and ceiling trying to install the switches and fan in the bath. He further left all the debris in the baths, but thought flushing some of it in the new toilet might be a good idea. The cost for rotorrooter to unclog the sewer pipe was $300.00. The tenants then had to cleanup all the debris in the house. Pictures of the mess were sent to Mr. Osvold, Chesapeake's owner. and he did send someone out to repair the wall and ceiling damage. It is my understanding that the employee was dismissed.
    We reduced the payment to Chesapeake to reflect the costs involved, and have had no further conversation with him. We are hiring another company to do the remaining work, and will have them inspect the work Chesapeake performed.

    Jonathan' s Electric kept all the warranty paperwork for the generator and said they would keep track of and perform the yearly maintenance checks. Last year (2010) they did not perform the required maintenance, and the generator stopped working. It took one month to get them here to get the generator running again.This year I called them in May to make sure the yearly inspection would be performed on time. We made an appointment, which the owner was not able to keep because of illness. We made a second appointment, which he did not keep. They said they would call me when he could come. I have received no calls from them. I have called three times and not gotten any returned calls. We had a major power outage two weeks ago, and the generator would not come on. It is now mid-July - i cannot get in touch with them and have a generator that won't work.
