    Dental Associates
My wife and I had our initial visits here in Salem, VA. with Dr. Rebecca Cloudt.  She is very personable and professional (Applies equally to all of the staff). I also had major pain in a tooth in September. Because Dr. Cloudt was out of the office. I was able to see Dr. James Hoye who was equally professional. Also, let me add... The front office ladies are truly OUTSTANDING...They deal with all of the billing and insurance....and THEY GET IT RIGHT!!! Dental Associates are "Better than the Best"

    Mills & Shannon Dentistry
I never have to wait more than 5 minutes when I go in. My insurance is always billed correctly. The entire place is immaculate. They use the latest equipment. The staff take time to get to know the patients rather than treating them like a number to rush through. They are quick to anticipate potential problems or concerns and suggest solutions. I highly recommend them to anyone.

    Mills & Shannon Dentistry
I have gone to Mills and Shannon for a couple years now and could not be happier. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the entire office is immaculate. They use the newest equipment (digital photography of teeth and text you when your appointment is close, for example). The doctors are relatively young so you know they will have their dexterity for a while ;)

    Roller & Johnson Family Dentistry
One of the front office staff was out sick, so it took a little while to get processed as a new patient.  However, based on everything else I experienced I suspect that this is not the norm.  The people were all friendly, from the front desk to the Dr's assistant to Dr. Johnson.

I, and my husband, will continue to see Dr. Johnson as our general dentist.  She, and the staff, were professional and thorough.  They were careful to explain each step of what was happening.  While this may seem unneeded for someone who has seen a dentist for almost 50 years, it was good to know what was going on and what they expected to see.  Communication was honest and forthright.  Options for issues found were discussed thoroughly and honestly.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Johnson as a general dentist.

    Wallace, Dr. Caroline A.
Dr. Wallace is a very competent dentist but is expensive. I am fully satisfied with the quality of her services. Full payment is expected at the time of service. She knows that her costs are significantly higher than the insurance carrier's allowable charges and has no agreement with the insurrance carrier on allowable charges. She does, nevertheless, file the claim to the insurance carrier. The patient is left on his/her own to make up the difference. The insurance reimbursement goes directly to the patient since Dr. Wallace has already received her full payment from the patient. I don't like this. She also pushes very expensive procedures that likely would not be covered by insurance.

    Hunting Hills Family Dentistry
Staff is courteous and helpful and I am called in for my scheduled
appointment within minutes of my appointment time.  The hygienist was
knowledgeable and gentle with the cleaning and the dentist was pleasant
    and helpful as well.

    Semtner, Dr. Robert
For a crown that I needed I was in and out with a permanent crown in under 3 hours! No temporary crown, no return appointment, etc. There was no pain and it was hassel-free. I will go back for additional work and recommend them highly.

    Mills & Shannon Dentistry
They are just easy to work with. Their scheduling is pretty flexible. It is a really nice office. Their punctuality is pretty good. So far the treatment has been excellent though she is in the middle of the treatment.

    Stevens, Dr. Richard
I would recommend Dr. Stephens in Salem, VA.  He is a great dentist.  I would grade him an 'A' in my overall experience.  He cleaned my teeth; I would give him an 'A'.  I will go back to Dr. Stephens in three months for my next visit.

    Alouf Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry
He went to whiten my teeth and when it wouldn't whiten he kept using the material and it ended up eating away at the gums. When he went to put an implant in for my son he ended up messing that up really bad. He doesn't know what he is doing.
