    ED Mawyer
I would highly recommend E.D.! We had several large projects, including interior painting for the majority of our residence, including kitchen cabinets and a bathroom. In addition, he was able to help us with updating all the hardware for our home and several other repairs. Professional, punctual, and a fabulous painter with an eye for detail.

    Expertise Painting,Inc.
I had an amazing experience working with Dan, he was extremely professional and courteous of my home. Dan did an excellent job in completing the painting and went above and beyond to meet my high standards, he even did a few added touch ups that was not in scope of work to make the overall presentation even better. I highly recommend this contractor.

GREAT. After getting some estimates from other Professionals, we selected Expertise Painting to refresh some of our home. He was neither the highest nor the lowest bid, but what we considered a fair bid. This man can do it all. If he said he would arrive at eight, he was there at eight, He worked continuously every day and finished our list in a timely and efficient manner. He allowed me to add on a couple of xtra tasks at NO xtra charge ( Who does that?). When he was finished , there was not so much as an empty bottle of water left behind. His work was flawless.Thank You Angies List & Thank You Expertise Painting/Dan. Kirby We are giving him all A`s only because there are no AAA`s as an option.

    Bassett Home Services LLC
The work was done far better than I hoped for at cost lower than I thought. Greg Bassett and his team were very professional, very personable and helpful all the way through the project. They were an experienced, talented team that made it easy to trust their work. The job turned out beautiful! This completely changed how the kitchen/dining room looked and we are so happy we did it! When I have other new work, I'll be calling Greg Bassett first thing!

Horrible, DO NOT HIRE.  Saw this deal on Angie's List and was looking for a couple of little projects done around the house.  BIG MISTAKE.  Only good thing that I can say is that he called immediately.  He came over, I told him my list and he started working.  He need to fix a whole in basement wall.  Did a dicent job, but instead of asking me for a trash bag he used one of my kids toy bags instead. My daughter was very upset.  He also did not put anything down to protect my carpet, so I now have drywall mud on the floor. Will be needing to find out how much this will cost me to clean.  Doors and light were done as needed.  Had a back splash on sink that needed to be put on and bolted down.  When he left, I saw that he did not put any of the screws in that I had given him, he just glued in on. To make matters worse it is crooked. The major project that I needed done is a concrete pad in the front to be leveled.  My house has shifted and the concrete pad was sloping to one side. Said he would need to figure out how to do and then come back the next day and fix.  Tried to lift it up and level but could not.  We agreed that he would just put more concrete over to level it out.  He went to the store and bought what was needed.  Did not know that he was going to mix Rocks into the concrete, and after less than two weeks its is washing away.  Do not hire this man.  He did a bad job and is a waste of money.  I will be trying to get back as much money as I can, so that I can pay someone else come in and FIX what he was supposed to do.

    Troy-Bilt Construction
Troy was selected as a result of the recommendations from Angie's List, and he did not disappoint. Troy was here on the job in a timely manner each day of construction. He was aware of our time frame to complete the job, and he made it. Troy was on budget. Troy is a perfectionist, and this attribute was welcomed and appreciated. The result of the remodeled master bathroom was well beyond our expectations. It is absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Troy for any building job. It was truely a great experience.

    TMJ Home Improvement
This is a list of the problems Ted caused in my little cottage: Critical: Lacks vent for plumbing waste line, creating a dangerous situation All water pipes, faucets and fixtures, and water heater were filled with and damaged by gravel from inappropriate technique used to repair outside water break. He was explicitly told to wait until the water level dropped so my other worker could fixed it above the water line. He didn?t wait, but incorrectly fixed it himself. All plumbing needed to be replaced. Shower in bathroom 100% dysfunctional: leaked; shower liner leaked; drain leaked into basement; shower door installed improperly and leaked; pan unsupported. Unusable. Dysfunctional: Drywall in bathroom: incomplete and very poor quality workmanship Insulation not added to ceiling before Sheetrock installed Drain in vanity leaked due to missing part Toilet leaked into basement Improper electrical wiring; outside plugs not on a ground fault; bathroom, kitchen, and misc plugs on same circuit; lights and plugs were improperly wired Aesthetic: Bubbles under vinyl in bathroom floor because floor not prepped correctly?then poorly repaired with big holes visible Window in bathroom very poorly trimmed (gaps) Toilet poorly placed in bathroom A square sink was substituted for requested corner sink, claimed corner sink unavailable, but I found out it was Did not offer owner option for copper plumbing; unilaterally installed PVC Poor placement of bathroom fixtures, e.g. light was off by several inches from the medicine cabinet Poor placement of basement appliances?electrical panel too close to location for washer/dryer; not where requested by water heater Consequences: All plumbing, faucets and fixtures, and water heater had to be replaced Entire bathroom had to be deconstructed down to the studs and floor and rebuilt Electrical wiring?had to add more breakers and add ground faults Venting for plumbing had to be retrofitted on exterior since all walls now closed in. I contacted Ted when I found his email address. I proposed an amicable settlement. Instead of standing by his work and working toward a settlement, he took down his web page two days after I sent my email and ran.

    SWEET SUCCESS CONTRACTORS
Chris and his crew started the job the first day promptly at 8 AM (every day they arrived at 8). The plaster and drywall removal and repair on the 3rd floor of the house was the major part of the job. They ran into some issues that necessitated a revision of the estimate (the original estimate called for 4-6 days of work, the job took 8 days.) At every step of the way Chris consulted with me about what we wanted to do to make the house look better for sale, but he also listened when I told him to back off a little bit. The final work was close to flawless, it is difficult for me to find the areas that were repaired. He primed and painted, and his crew spent one day just cleaning up at the end.

    SWEET SUCCESS CONTRACTORS
For the estimate, Chris called and said that we was running five minutes late. When I asked about having the ceiling replaced with sheet rock, he said that it was fixable and would cost less. Because of my schedule, it was difficult to schedule the work (he wanted the come a couple days that I was not available). The day the work was done, Chris and his helper Luke showed up on time and were very courteous. I showed Chris a couple spots that we had not discussed and he added them to the work to be performed. They worked until nine at night to ensure that the work was completed in a single day. I would hire Chris again to work on my house.
