    Stone River
Mo and his team are amazing. They were professional, respectful and competent. We couldn't be happier with the work that they did. They even helped us to finish off a project that another contractor had started and didn't finish. We look forward to working with them again.

    R S R Lawn Service Inc
We have used him for probably 25 years. He is great! I don?t think he is all that inexpensive, but he does good work, so we keep using him. We use him all the time! I have a couple acres of lawn and a bunch of acres to bush hog.  He is coming soon to paint my blackboard fence. He is a good guy! I can trust him!

He mows my lawn every week, he bush hogs twice a year, he is going to do my driveway. He is a contractor as well, he has replaced underground pipes for me, he has done lots of things. He is a builder as well as doing landscaping. Very reliable! Excellent!
Every year he sends me a contract and he does what he says he is going to do, when he says he is going to do it. I have recommended him to many others several times. Uniformly, good quality work.

    Lawnboy Lawn Service Inc
David Nichols and his team at Lawnboy are professional, timely and have a sense of urgency in accomplishing required repairs and improvements. David gave us a solid list of options for our required repairs, and didn't force us or even pressure us to accept one option over others. While typical contractors or service companies might push for the more Expensive fix - David talked to us about the pros and cons with each repair, and in a few cases, suggested the less expensive options.

His team worked around the fact that we have a dog - and 2 very young children. While service companies often take their time to make repairs to ensure a quality install of work, his team both made outstanding quality repairs to our drainage issues, and did so in a timely fashion to allow our dog and kids access to our back yard.

For our fence moving - David worked with local suppliers to find the right and exact matching pieces to extend and recapture property that was not originally fenced in. A simple Home Depot run and quick install would have showed that this home owner buying and installing the wrong size and incompatible fence.

Best of all - When they left - they did so as if the property magically improved - leaving No debris - No ugly signs of land disruption - and reseeded areas that were disrupted.

I cannot say enough about this local small business, the owner and his team.  The outstanding work they completed is equal to the level of professionalism and tact.

Will I use again? Forever Lawnboy will be my lawn and land improvements team!

    Bartlett Tree Experts
We lost two large (50 ft.) trees in a windstorm and, in falling, they damaged other trees and shrubs.  Some tree removal services eagerly offered to cut down those perfectly healthy, attractive, but slightly damaged trees!  We decided we needed to talk to a "real" arborist who loves trees as much as we do.

Bartlett Tree Experts' local representative -- Mr. Bradshaw, a licensed arborist --  is extremely knowledgeable and and informative.  He helped us to identify many unusual tree species on our property.  He recognized problems we hadn't noticed, as well as those we had.  We now consider him "our" tree expert, and we appreciate that he has access to his company's internal resources, such as in-house laboratories  He is also always available to us to answer any questions.  We only wish we had met him sooner....

Our only "negative" experience is that after trees and stumps were removed the workmen did not leave the area completely raked down to ground level as per the description of their task.  On the other hand, after treatments our trees and shrubs are noticeably healthier and thriving, for unexpectedly quick results.

Bartlett Tree Experts is very pricey, but you are paying for an extensive network of experts and a high reputation for quality.  Their appeal would be greatest to the owners of estate-type properties concerned about maintaining historic or beautiful trees.

    Absolute Electric LLC
I called late morning and they were at the house by early afternoon.  The technician went way above and beyond the call of duty in investigating the issues and correcting the problem situations.  I was extremely pleased with the service and I will definitely call this company if I need electrical work done in the future!

    E T LANDSCAPING & LAWN CARE INC
The crew from E T Landscaping & Lawn Care arrived promptly and went to work. They were very courteous, professional, and conscientious about their craft. The patio came out better than expected - it is beautiful! Whatever the team brought in for equipment, food, and beverage - they left not a trace behind when they finished. I noticed they had placed something under their truck on my driveway to ensure there wasn't any oil or dirt left behind. I have not seen any other service provider be this considerate. Lastly, Julio the owner brought a problem with my walkway to my attention. He noticed the builder hadn't compressed the soil sufficiently underneath. I thanked him for bringing it to my attention. Then  I noticed his men repairing the problem and he didn't ask for a dime.  That, is service! I give this company 5 stars + - they are honest, hardworking, and very pleasant to deal with . Thank you E T Landscaping - Francesca

    Superior Landscaping, Inc.
They came in and did the job in one day.  Took care of everything; overcame a bit of adversity when they encountered an unexpected power line, which we didn't was there.  Fixed that, installed the French drain, which works fine.  Did a great job! Cleaned up!  Very proficient and professional.

    American Exteriors & Masonry
We had moved into our brand new home just over a year ago and had a completely blank slate in our backyard. The sliding door was about 3-4' above the yard so we needed a way to get in & out of the house, as well as some usable outdoor space. American Exteriors was one of 3 companies that came out to give us an estimate, and they were the  ONLY ones that told us they would pull a county permit. Additionally, they gave us a complete background of their company along with references and certifications. Yes, I'm sure it would have been cheaper for us if they didn't pull a permit, but knowing the job was up to code was very important to us. Their pricing was fair, and they offered a discount if we signed a contract that day, which we did.
Once the contract was signed, there was about a 3-week lag in communication til our first conversation with our project manager. I had sent him a few emails with minor changes to the colors and design of our patio and asked for confirmation. It took several follow up emails, as well as calling the office to get his phone number before our changes were confirmed.
The way our project was scheduled was to have the deck steps installed, then the patio. There would be 2 different crews so we knew there might be a break in work between the separate jobs, but this wasn't communicated to us really well. The deck steps started 1 month after signing our contract, and took 3 days to complete. Exactly one week after the deck steps finished, I called our project manager (as we hadn't heard from him) and asked when our patio would be installed. He said that our pavers were back ordered and we would have a crew out the following Monday to start. Twenty minutes later, my wife arrived home to see that our patio had already been dug up and the ground leveled for installation. I'm not sure how they didn't know they were already working at our house, but it was a nice surprise nonetheless. The patio & firepit took about 3 days to install, with one minor issue. When we had initially signed the contract, the pavers were supposed to go under the deck steps so we wouldnt see any rocks or dirt. Once the job started, the workers notified us they couldn't get under the steps because there was no room so they would have to find another solution. I called our project manager and he immediately drove out to our house and checked to see our options. He suggested we put river rock under the steps and promised it would look good. He also agreed to extend the patio another foot out as we had leftover pavers because they couldn't be used under our steps. The river rock came out really nice and getting an extra foot to our patio was a nice bonus.
Now that the work is complete, we are extremely happy with the results. Overall, the entire process from contract signing to job completion was 7 weeks (we were originally told 6-8 weeks, so no complaints there). At the end of the day, the price was fair, the communication was a bit slow, but the quality is amazing. I would highly recommend American Exteriors for any of your deck and/or patio jobs and we would definitely use them again!

    VPC Landscape Construction
Julia and her team have been quite patient with us as it has been a hard decision to pinpoint exactly what we like and how much we'd like to spend.  It has been a real pleasure to work with Julia on defining our dream patio.  We look forward to installation Spring 2016!
