The ceiling work he did to fix the cracks, he never came back to sand the drywall or paint. The work he has done looks awful. He said it will look good when he comes back, but he has never came back. He will not return my calls or emails. The only time he communicates with me is if Angie's List calls him. We have been waiting for a long time. I cannot trust him anymore.

JD did and his crew did an amazing job!  Our house is a 1973 brick rambler that has needed a lot of updating. We has two rooms at the back of the house that we wanted joined into one big master bedroom and a hall bath that needed completely redone. We had a tiny bathroom off our old master bedroom of a single sink, toilet and shower which had us tripping over each other. We wanted a big master bath with a Jacuzzi, double sinks and a walk-in closet. The outside walls were not moving so we had to optimize the use of the space we had within those parameters. The job required all the back of the house to be gutted and rebuilt. It was quite a messy job as was expected. We moved downstairs to the family room and the only bathroom left in the house. The team was there  every single work day, on time and worked tirelessly to complete the job in 27 days. I was amazed! They always were polite and diligent. They were sensitive to my discomfort with everything being in disarray. Sammy and crew always left my house orderly as it could be under the circumstances. They protected all my wood floors too. They were willing at any time to work with the minor changes that come with taking on such a huge job. JD offered several suggestions that we had not thought of but added a unique touch to our master suite. The end result was perfect! I  have not had to call him back to fix any issues. The job was done flawlessly, on time and with such pride and integrity in his end product that we can highly recommend him for any home remodeling without a moments hesitation. We have not found anything that was done by his company that has been less than perfect. I wished I had had them install crown molding in the master bath, but not doing that was our decision at the time. His price was fair and comparative to other estimates we got. He was our 4th  estimate and we were sold on him doing our job. He presents himself as a  honest man of integrity and our gut told us he was the one to do our job.

    Virginia Kitchen & Bath

Dale is the designer and is very knowledgeable and patient.  He did a fantastic job working with us on the design and building material selections.  The only thing we went outside of their shop for was the plumbing fixtures because we wanted more options, and we wanted to see and feel what we were buying (everything looks great on the 'net but you can't touch it...). Using our plumbing fixture selection, VA Kitchen and Bath made the purchase (using their contractor discount) of the fixtures and the rest came right out of their shop.

Burak was our project manager and Alejandro was our craftsman.  All products arrived on time, and Alejandro and his team went to work.  To reduce dust and dirt, the sleeping area of our bedroom was tented off and stayed remarkably clean. Also the carpet from our front door to the master bathroom door was covered in plastic. Every day after they were done, Alejandro made sure everything was picked up and swept.  Having your master bath remodeled is a very intrusive process but Burak, Alejandro, and the rest of the team was very professional, clean, and tidy.  Alejandro spent extra time with us for the tile design, and his suggestions really made a difference.  You should see our shower!

Bottom line - We "interviewed" 3 remodeling firms for this job. VA Kitchen and Bath made this remodeling project a lot less painful than the others because they carry just about everything.  Pricewise, they were in the middle - but in my estimation if I evaluate what I got for what I've paid, these guys are a real value.  We are remodeling our kitchen next and there is no need for me to shop around....

He warned me not to get close to the work. When he was writing me a receipt on a scrap piece of paper. He told me that if I had any questions he was going to come in here and tear everything out. I never got anything on official paper or an invoice/contract. He has done other work before for me, he is a neighbor and I was fine with it. He sub contracted to Imperial Granite and Marble Company who were the actual installers. They came out and installed kitchen granite. They had cracked a piece of my table. He has refused to replace the table and though I have copies of text back and forth, they're refusing to replace the glass table as well. The glass table is worth $1000 to replace it out of my pocket. This has been very upsetting and I would not highly recommend them.

Went great. They were very friendly, and worked quickly. It was also inexpensive and they kept the mess down to a bare minimum.
