    I want to share the quality of my Service Experience with McCrea of VA Service Technician Mr. Scott Rogerson. Mr. Rogerson diagnosed an issue on my Zone 1 AC, resolved it so on point, Scott went above and beyond to relocate something outside of the blower motor so that it could be easily serviced down the road, changing a connection on a control board that was the incorrect size from the original installation years ago. Scott is a true professional he communicated his ETA, communicated preventive maintenance measures to keep both Zones 1 and 2 running efficiently. I could not be more pleased, a great attitude and passion for doing things right. I commend McCrea and Scott for being so professional and a job well done!

    Had an excellent experience with this contractor. All their personnel were polite, punctual, professional and friendly. Communication and scheduling was a breeze. On the day of the install the crew arrived on time and got right to work. This replacement was for my attic system and they were very careful not to damage my house when removing the old equipment and carrying the new equipment to the attic. They laid canvas drop cloths to protect my flooring all the way through my house from the front door up the stairs and down the hall to the attic access. They installed a complete new Carrier Infinity 18VS system and it works perfectly. All the work was neat and clean and they explained everything to me before they left. Their price was comparable to all the other estimates I received but it was for a nicer system so I would rate their price as the best. I am very happy with this contractor and will definitely use them for all my future HVAC repairs/replacements.

    The whole process was very smooth, from diagnosing the issue and seeing if there was a repair to be made first, which they said they could but it would just break again soon anyway due to system age, to not recommending the top costing unit but one that made sense for the space to be cooled, to the installation process.

    Well. However, the humidifier we actually needed was more than twice the advertised special. I knew at the outset that we'd need a bigger unit than the special, and in the end, the price we paid was fair for the unit. Jorge was extremely professional, punctual and made sure I knew how to maintain the system.

    I had a warranty service and although they weren't with the company, they came out probably a year or so and they were fine. I had a problem this summer with one of my, well I have four units with air conditioning. The owner came out, nice guy I forget his name great guy. He came out like on a Friday and said it just needed a couple pounds of or a pound of free on and he left. I had said no it wasn't shut down but there was warm air coming out before so within twenty minutes from the time he had left here it was blowing out warm air again. I called him he actually came back and said I think his comment was well I can't seem to find the problem, it actually started it went hot then it went cold again and then he say I cant find the problem until the hot air is blowing out so I called him on the Saturday and he came out again and he came out these other times and didn't charge me so that's, he's a nice guy I think he's a honest guy he couldn't fine the problem and it had been blowing cool air off and on and by two thirty the afternoon this was I think in July when we were having extremely hot weather and I have three other units so it wasn't like we were sitting in 90 degree heat. So he leaves, I called somebody else out. He didn't determine the problem, he didn't know what it was, didn't diagnose it.

    They charged me $100 for the trip. They ended up quoting me over $4000 to get a new compressor and I wasn't sure that that was the problem. After it got fixed, I called Mr. Mannix up, I dealt with him a couple of other times. He had just started probably six years ago. I met him and told him what the problem was, he said yeah. As soon as I told him what the issue was, he said, 'Yeah, I believe that is a mis-diagnosis. I apologize and we will refund you the money/ the $100' They did that. He even said, 'I will come out if you want me to.' I said, 'Well, I already had it taken care of by another company.' I gave the a D because of the mis-diagnosis. For price, because the visit is the only thing I paid for, I gave them an A.

    Their original visit back on June 24th went OK (I guess). They recharged my unit with refrigerant which leaked out just a month later. The unit failed completely just one month later on July 23rd. I was told by the service tech that a part needed replacing. Six days later I have no idea when this part is suppose to come in nor when it will be installed. Now I am sitting in the "dead of summer" without my unit and no idea when it will be repaired! I'm certainly not interested in having these folks service my unit in the future, and I don't recommend anyone else use them either.

    They are terrible, it was such a rip off! The guy charged me $600 just to tell me what was wrong and then, he wouldn't fix it. He wanted me to pay $2400 to fix it and I had it fixed for $140. The price was extraordinary excessive. I had someone fix it for 20% of what they charged me just to tell me what the problem was. For responsiveness, they were right out. They were out within a day.

    I called these guys back based on their recommendation that I needed to change capacitor for $110, after doing my annual check.  While doing that they busted my AC and said they will charge 2000 to change the compressor.  I called another contractor to get a second estimate.  This one change my entire unit for almost have that and told me the job ME FLOW  did was lousy as all the wires and everything was left loose.  These guys also did another unit for me a couple of months back and they put refrigerant into a unit without checking for a leak as I am still using R22 which was for $150 per unit.  I will never use ME FLOW again. They are dishonest, expensive and they charge for all kinds of things they should not.
