  • They showed up at the scheduled time worked all day until work was completed did a fantastic job and left my property cleaner than it was when they got there. I would recommend these guys to my family and my friends
    - David B.
  • Scheduling is typically a few weeks out, so had to plan early.
First handyman that came out was not able to do the job, not correct skill set. Miscommunication during scheduling apparently.
Second handyman (after rescheduling) did have the correct skill set and did a great job. Fantastic guy. Polite, professional, walked us through every step, cleaned up, finished earlier than planned.
    - Timothy N.
  • Brian walker completed the work. Brian was punctual each day, worked diligently and cleaned up along the way. Brian did very nice worked was very nice guy. It was our pleasure to work w / Brian and we hope to meet again.

  • Somehow this got listed with a category of "window cleaning" - I had a whole house cleaning done, not a window cleaning.  Having said that, my review follows . . .

I purchased this deal because due to health issues I had been unable to keep up with house cleaning, and my house was in need of a deep, deep cleaning which I couldn't do.  Two ladies came one day and concentrated on the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms plus my basement rec room.  The bathrooms were scrubbed squeaky clean, blinds in the bedrooms were cleaned, baseboards were dusted, window sills dusted, and furniture dusting was done.  Also vacuuming of the carpets was done.  Baseboards were missed in one of the bedrooms, and one of the ladies began using my vacuum with the carpet brush roller turned on on my hardwood floors which made a few marks on my hardwood.  I stopped her and showed her the hard floor attachment to use on the hard floors.  I would have thought a professional house cleaner would have known not to use the carpet brush on hardwood floors, but for the most part, the cleaning was excellent.  The ladies were there for 4 hours and the manager said she would re-schedule for another session of 4 person hours to concentrate on my main level.

I called to schedule the next session and we agreed on a Saturday between 12 noon and 2 pm.  At noon, the manager called and said it would be a long drive for her to get there that day and asked if she could re-schedule for another time when they would have another client in my area.  I said this was ok but I indicated I was a little disappointed because I have guests coming for Thanksgiving.   She then said she would come before Thanksgiving day and would call me Monday morning.  On Sunday night she called and said they had another client near me and could do my house starting at 8 am.  I told her I needed to leave no later than 10;30 for a doctor's appointment and she said since there would be 3 people, they would finished in less than 1.5 hours.  They arrived at 8:45 - 45 min late but got straight to work.  They finished about 10:30 and I was able to leave for my doctor's appointment.

After the 2nd cleaning I noticed that many of the venetians blinds were stuck in the window frame.  I had to get a step stool and get them loose again.   The blinds were thoroughly cleaned, but obviously they were in a rush to finish and didn't straighten the blinds afterward - I'm lucky none of the slats were broken.  An antique butter churn that I have in my kitchen had been moved and fell apart in the process and there was no attempt to put it back together.  Nothing broke, but I was there, they could have asked me how to put it back together.  Instead, it was left in a pile of pieces.  Also, an antique spinning wheel was put back together incorrectly without asking me about it.

For the most part the house was cleaned thoroughly and with excellent quality, but in haste and carelessness during the 2nd cleaning, my blinds were left in disarray and one small piece of furniture was just left in pieces when it came apart while moving and another was put back together incorrectly.

  • The job went well.  The PM offered advice and explained things as they went along.  He was most helpful with the insurance investigator who came to review our claim and see the remediation work and the beginning of the renovation work.  Any time there was something we questioned about the work going on, the PM and/or crew was patient in answering these questions.  If we noticed something we didn't like the look of in the work, the PM either explained why something was required to be done a certain way or would listen to our comments and make the changes we asked for.  When the tile job in the shower first started, they had put down 2 large 2'x2' pieces when we decided we wanted the tile laid in a different pattern.  The person laying the tile never complained and pulled up the tile already down and relaid them in the direction we liked better.  We also changed from a full bench in the shower stall to two corner benches.  They again made the change with no question and never showed any frustration with us.  When we decided to use a block window in our shower instead of replacing our broken out window with a regular window that would need to be covered with privacy film, the PM realized our opening for the window wasn't a standard size opening and changing the opening size was not an option.  Rather than tell us we couldn't have what we wanted, our PM took it upon himself to actually make a block window for us on his own time that fit our special sized opening.  It looks great and he even matched the grill pattern on our other windows in the bathroom with the block sizes he used so our windows would have a consistent look.  The work was slow due to special order items, but when the crew got to a point where they were waiting on something, they moved to another task within our project.  They were never still.  They showed up between 7:30 and 8:00 every morning and worked until 3:00 with only a short lunch break.  They laid down brown paper and/or drop cloths on the path to their work area.  They cleaned up their work area at the end of every day and pulled up the paper and/or drop cloth.   We had a trip we had planned and paid for that fell in the middle of the job.  The PM worked with us to ensure we didn't miss a moment of the vacation.  There was also a point in our job that the crew had done all they could before our special order tile arrived (our fault since we had our heart set on something that wasn't available in-stock).  We were told of the delay the Wednesday prior.  The PM worked with the tile shop to put a rush on the order at no additional cost to us.  He did reassign our team to another job site while we waited, but with the help of the PM, it was only 2 or 3 days instead of the 10 business days the tile shop told us to expect.  The only negative I can say is that in this last job, 4 tiles had pencil marks that weren't erased before they sealed the tiles.  We didn't find them for almost a month.  Since we couldn't just erase the marks because the tile was sealed, we called and were told they would send someone out.  We were asked if this could wait until someone was in our area since we live on the outer edge of their work area.  This didn't bother us as we didn't even notice it for a month, so we agreed.  It did take 3 weeks for someone to come out, but the workman took care of the issue.
Overall we are very pleased with LPS and will be using them for any future project we have.  I would recommend them to everyone, especially Blaine Fairbanks and his team.

  • Jay and Jose arrived within the short window provided, with a call 15 minutes before arrival.  They both put on those little booties before stepping in our home, which is appreciated.  We went over the work that needed to be done, what type of traffic on the carpet, stains, etc.  Jay and Jose got right to it, protecting our hardwood floors very well.  Unfortunately they dinged up the wall with a hose (it was a tight corner) but I didn't notice until they were gone, it can be easily repaired.  The carpets were cleaned very well, all dirt and spots removed as far as the eye can see, and they were dry within 4 hours.  We couldn't be happier and plan to use them again and recommend to others.  Also, they do hardwood floors and rug cleanings!  We'll use them for that too!

  • We worked with Bob Anderson for the estimate and contract. Luis and his team installed. Overall is was a good experience. I would recommend them to anyone. They were able to install Bruce hardwood throughout our home. It looks great. There are a few areas where I wish the reveals were less obvious, but I am happy with the outcome as a whole. They were quick and easy to work with. There was the need to have them come back out a fix a few small items - nothing major, and they were happy to do it. Weather caused this to take forever, and I did become a little irritated by having to reschedule 5 or 6 times, which is why I gave a B for responsiveness.
The B for quality is because there are more short cuts than I thought there would be and the two or three areas where there boards are not quite flush. They are really only noticeable to someone who is scrutinizing the floor closely, and for the price I am 100% willing to live with it. The stairs look amazing. And the overall difference in the house is drastic. Thank you Bob, Luis, and team!

  • They were great. Winter was crazy and we had to reschedule a few times due to snow on the driveway and they were super responsive to us about rescheduling because our driveway is not fun in the snow. We had an estimator come out and then we scheduled the work. After a few reschedules due to the snow, they came out and fixed all of the grout issues in the master bath shower. We had some pale grout that had turned into an almost fringe like substance that wasn't good to keep water out. They cleaned all of that out and reapplied clear grout there and in other parts of the shower where the grout and caulking had vanished. Then they fixed the caulking/grout on some of our tiles in the kitchen. They were fast, efficient, and courteous.

  • Working with the designer (Debbie) went quite well.  She was full of ideas and very pleasant.  We found everything we wanted right there in the showroom and were ready to move forward with our bath remodel.  Then, things got very confusing.  The project manager came out and said Debbie was incorrect on several things we were planning for, and we received several estimated with varying tasks and prices.  We quickly lost confidence in this company.

  • I had carpet that was loose and rolling in the upstairs hallway of our home. I wasn't sure that it could be salvaged.
were having people over and needed a quick turn around. Pat was
amazing! He came by the day I called and said it was no problem. From
the time I called him to the time it was fixed there was a 24 hour turn
around. The work was impeccable, and it made the carpet look good as
I would recommend them without hesitation.
