AMTC RemodelingMy wife and I started out needing someone to come in and fix a leaky tiled shower. We would need to retile the shower. When we started planning the repair with Mike, he offered some very creative ideas, indicating that things we had not considered were possible and doable. He first created a structurally functional space using the proper, more modern materials and technology that would all but guarantee that the shower would never leak. Mike helped us re-design the space and transform it into a beautiful space, thinking outside of the box, and doing things we had not considered possible. Our bathroom is not only structurally and functionally sound, but it is amazing--something you might find in a 5-star hotel. In addition to Mike's craft, he was timely, and considerate--working in our home, in the master bathroom, over the holidays with my wife and I both working from home due to COVID. Bathroom tile work can be messy and dusty. Mike was neat, confined the construction mess to the bathroom and not in the bedroom or the rest of the house. He was very easy to work with, was polite and respectful. As a side note--my wife and I continue to consider other related projects Mike could help us with.- Wally S.

ABetter Home ImprovementsIt’s been 10 days now since they finished and everything is still perfect. I have never had a contractor before who started when they said, did what they said, and finished when they said with barely a hiccup. When a problem arose - although not their fault - they took charge and made it right and worth my while. Excellent company, management and workers. Very professional and excellent workmanship. ABetter Home ImprovementsI had Better Home Improvements featuring Better Baths and Kitchens to do a complete remodel of our home. This was the first time my wife and I had major construction work done on our home. Tracy White assured us during our initial consultation that we would be highly impressed with the work that was performed and the project would be done with the least amount of effort on our part necessary as the home owners. He was absolutely correct! We had our kitchen and bathrooms remolded, new flooring installed throughout our home. Tracy’s crew are absolute professionals and great at what they do! My wife and I had such a pleasant experience and loved the work done so much I hired Tracy and his crew back the following year to install siding and paint the exterior of our house. ABetter Home ImprovementsBetter Home Improvement - Better Bathrooms and Kitchens did a fabulous job on redoing two vintage bathrooms. Everything was torn out and rebuilt or replaced. They were there every day, they worked the whole time, they cleaned up after themselves. They consulted me on where to put towel racks, shelves, and mirrors. They did one bathroom at a time so we had use of the facilities. I just can’t say enough about how efficient, pleasant, and thorough they were. Yes, I would use them again and I have already consulted with them on a couple of other projects.- Ann S.

FThe estimate was a sham - it took two and a half hours - the expectation was, once you put in all of that time, how would you just walk away from a renovation that was more than double of any other estimate, Then, the car -dealer borrowed sham - call into manager to get a better deal - twice!!! And the price was still way over market. But - if you booked it right then, $10,000 less than next day; $20,000 less than 9 months hence. The contractor would not provide an estimate, until you walked through every decision the bathroom renovation would entail. This was disgusting. I think also a sham for seniors. I would not recommend.

AMike & Louis did a wonderful job - great carpentry skills, arrived when they said, cleaned up each day (3 days) and the result was a terrific looking deck; Mike even took some of our old chairs to the dump when he brought his trash. He is coming back to help us get our heavy grill/smoker back onto the deck. I would recommend Appalachian Building Concepts without reservation.
