    DF Building Inc
Highest praise for DF Building! Not only is their work meticulous and beautiful, but I found them to be friendly, neat, honest, and fairly priced. After interviewing several contractors for our two story brick addition, we hired DF Building. We were so pleased with their work, we hired them for several other major remodels without considering other contractors. Their work is consistently on point. We have recommended DF Building to family and friends who have gone on to hire them with the same positive results. If we have further need for contractors, DF Building is the only one we will consider. We are very happy customers! A+++++++

    Rockfab Kitchen & Bath
Owner treats women like they are an inconvenience rather than the driving force behind his business. Rude, loud and obnoxious. We ordered a kitchen and 4 bathrooms remodeled. Never again will I do business with Rockfab. The minute they don't deliver as promised he yells he has you in the contract. If they don't write it in the contract then don't believe for an instant they intend to do it. They are the high-cost provider in the area and the service is nonexistent. The marble they sold is with a 15-year sealer apparently is only warranted for 2 years. We have filed a complaint with the BBB.

    Premier Stone Fabrication Inc
Not well. Man that measured was aware back splash had to be lowed than normal. It arrived with 5" back splash, requiring a very large mirror to be raised. Then one sink was correctly cut out, the other was 2" off from where original had been. Plumbing will not connect. Contacted them. Jim requested that we call them when we return from vacation and they would make it right. We did. Spoke with Christan. He was extremely rude and would not listen to us. Said sink had to line up with doors not plumbing. He would do nothing but argue with us and not listen. Didn't care that we had a problem and that no one said anything to us about sink being in a different spot. Hired them based on previous work they did. Would never hire them again.

    Roanoke Granite Tops
We're very pleased with the finished product - looks great! They had a large selection of granite and we found a piece perfect for our tile and color selections. When the templator measured the corner vanity he had an excellent design idea that we went with. We were happy with the order to delivery time and the installers were quick and professional.
We'll definitely use them again for any future projects with stone countertops.

    Star City Construction LLC
The project went extremely well.  This project was, of course, not without it's unplanned twists. For example, the previous tile work was cemented to the sub-floor. This had to be broken up and carted out and was pretty labor-intensive. The provider and his assistant took turns at it......Did I mention it was July?  This took more time than we planned and put us in conflict with another job.  The delay was small and was explained when we spoke with our provider.
We are still pleased with the work we had done.  The only thing we would have liked more is if Hunter could have blasted out the bathroom we had and replaced it with one he'd designed and installed for another client.
    Que Sera Sera.....
We would work with him and Star City Construction again.

    Dollman Construction, Inc
The experience of working with Dollman Construction was unexpectedly pleasant. From the first time meeting Jimmy Dollman, I was impressed by his professionalism, willingness to listen to ideas, and offer his expertise and insight. I also appreciated his patience as we worked through my goals and budget in relationship to what could be done, which meant that we went through several sets of drawings and numerous meetings and phone calls.
The Dollman crew that did the actual demolition and construction were also professional, on-time, polite, highly skilled, and hard-working. The detail in the carpentry work was exceptional. The trim in the remodeled addition matches the woodwork in the original part of the house (1920s) beautifully. They also salvaged and reused some stained glass cabinet doors in the kitchen. Overall, they seemed to take pride in work well-done as well as wanting to help keep the character of the house.
Equally importantly, at the end of the day, the worksite was always cleaned up. If on a rare occasion something was missed in the clean-up,  as soon as it was pointed out it was remedied with apologies and never an excuse. As we worked through finishing detail, they also were willing to promptly take care of anything that emerged.
Dollman Construction did a great job.

    Roanoke River Cabinetry
From the beginning, Roanoke River Cabinetry was a pleasure to work with.  The owner came to our house and offered great suggestions and ideas on design, cabinet color and style. We then went to the showroom where the owner/designer showed us in the design center what our kitchen would look like.   The installers were very professional and did an awesome job.
Anyone looking for a kitchen remodel should definitely go to Roanoke River Cabinetry.  Their prices cannot be beat and the beauty and quality of their cabinets are fantastic.  My family and I give Roanoke River Cabinetry TWO BIG THUMBS UP.

    Dollman Construction, Inc
Excellent work, well designed, clean, modern, and very prompt work. Cabinets are beautiful, tile floor, granite top, and a desk and an office are next to  kitchen.
I am very satisfied with the work and finished product!

    Dollman Construction, Inc
We love our new kitchen! This was our second Dollman Construction project and we'd use them again.
    • The project finished on time and all the Dollman employees and sub-contractors were professional and courteous. The project manager stayed involved and made sure the each part of the project was done right and what we wanted. They were flexible when we requested a few changes as things progressed and were timely and attentive in addressing those changes. I liked the way the initial contract was set up - it also allowed the flexibility to make decisions about upgrading components after the process started. And we did just that on both the cabinets and the granite countertops.
Though we knew what we wanted, the experience they brought to the project resulted in quite a few features and details that we hadn't thought of or another contractor might have missed. The result ended up being a combination of their design ideas and ours - and exceeded our expectations.

    Rockfab Kitchen & Bath
Rockfab was great to work with.  I was doing a major remodel on my kitchen and the countertop and backsplash was the last step in the process.  They were able to adjust their schedule to meet mine with little effort.  I had parts of the walls above the counter removed for electrical and plumbing work.  When the Rockfab guy came to make the template for the counter, he was not able to get a good measurement due to the walls.  He sent a carpenter out to level and fill in parts of the walls.  This was done the same day, with no additional cost to me.  The template was done the following week so the granite cutting could proceed.  The install was scheduled and the crew came to install the countertop first, while another guy worked on the tile floor in the half bath.  One guy did the sink/vanity top himself upstairs.  He did a great job.  The countertop was installed, so the crew proceeded to install the tile backsplash.  The floor and backsplash tiling took three days to complete.  The crew worked steadily each day and cleaned up nicely each day.  They did a great job.  I would definitely use them again.
