"Arrived 7 minutes before appointment time. Checked in and waited 35 minutes in waiting room with no word from office staff. Finally had to get back to work, so had" to leave. Based on packed waiting room, it was clear they had overbooked their appointment schedule, and didn't appear to be very concerned about this. Clearly not a very professional way to run a business.

No eye contact when speaking to you. He did all the talking and I could not get a word in

wise.
Walked out of their feeling like I wasted my money and did not get any answers to my questions.

Very sharp guy, easy to talk to. It was very clear he knew what he was talking about and took the time to explain what was wrong and the approach we needed to take to solve the issue.

My issues are minor removals. I see
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. Her and the staff are always pleasant and professional. They give me clear instructions for home care. It's the nicest waiting area I have ever been in. Nice big picture window. Comfortable chairs, and a fireplace. I appreciate that you are not right on top of each other, as that is when you go in healthy and come out sick in other places.

She had to wait a long time that time. When I have been, I have not had to wait long. I took my mother about 6 months ago. The actual visit was fine. They were just short staffed that day.

I've been a patient of Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
for years without incident. I tried to see Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
's three times. I saw him in February for
an infection on my mouth. Since it hadn't healed, and I had another infection on my ear, I tried to see Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
again in March. However, my appointment was with
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. When I signed out I told the lady at checkout that I thought my appointment was with Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. She said she would
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
it on my file that I only wanted to see Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
.
In April, I had an appointment to see Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
because neither my mouth or ear had healed. I made sure it was with Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. However,
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
said to the nurse "I got this.." She walked towards me in a manner that I found to be intimidating - straight at me. She didn't even say hello. She just asked if I had followed her recommendations from March. I told her that I was in the process of doing what she asked and am continuing to have the same problems I left very upset as I've never been treated this way in a Doctor's office. It was unprofessional. Later, I found out that one of the reasons that I wasn't getting better was that I was allergic to the medication
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
prescribed for me. When
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
found out I was allergic, she didn't take it into consideration for why I wasn't getting better.
I tried to see Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
for the last time in June for the last of the testing. By now I was afraid that my earlobe would not go back to its normal size. I was assured by receptionist and the nurse that I was to see Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. I heard Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
outside the room.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
asked him what he found. Then
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
came in again. She came in opened the door and left it open to tell me that she and Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
have decided that I should go to an Allergist as they've done what they could.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
said she was telling me because she is the one who has been treating me. Exactly, I never wanted her to treat me. After
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
was done, she said that I would not be charged and was lead out of the office. I was given the distinct impression that I was not to come back. Again, I've never encountered a situation like this. spoke to the office manager. She said my last appointment was scheduled with Dr.
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
, and she didn't understand why I saw
Roanoke Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. The office manager was polite and asked if I would come back. No. .

Excellent - she examined all my areas of concern and reassured me. Dr. and staff very patient with my questions and explained, thoroughly, everything that she was planning.

The doctor I had no longer works there. But he did an excellent job. I asked for a progressive treatment for keloids. I say progressive because the treatment is not widely used. But it's more effective than what current doctors are doing. He was hesitant at first but once another physician stepped in and cleared it, I began receiving the injections. Residents (dr that haven't been released) were the people who administered them. And I got a different resident each time. Which was awesome because I could tell them how I like my shots and how heavy or light to administer it. All residents were very friendly and professional. They showed concern for my issue and attempted to make me comfortable before, during and after. I wish I had discovered WSP Dermatologist years ago! They were recommend by my family physician and I highly recommend them as well! (And I'm not easy to please.) Once you have been a patient awhile appointments are easier to get. No real waiting time in the lobby. Billing was accurate and if you have a question they have a super friendly billing lady that can tell you the ins and outs of your insurance carrier. No real wait once your back in a room either. I was always in and out within 20min.

The Dr. was pleasant, but I was not impressed with communication or sense understanding. Though it may not have been the case, did not feel Dr. was connecting with my feelings about the issue. Seemed very matter of fact, non concerned. I would not go back again.
