Appointment scheduled for 8:30am. Hadn't heard from contractor by 8:45am so I called him (John Barnett) and had to leave a voicemail. He returned my call around 8:50am and said "I'm running late. I said between 8:30 and 9am". That wasn't true, we had and 8:30am appointment and I was taking time off from work for this appointment. He asked if I wanted to reschedule and I declined. If a contractor can't be punctual when they are trying to win your business then there is no hope for punctuality and professionalism after they start a job. He could have contacted me by 8:30am to let me know that he was running late and there wouldn't have been any issue.

    CONSOLIDATED CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
they took out dry wall, piping, plaster, and stuck fans and dehumidifiers in the walls, and floor mats that sucked the water out, DRIED EVERYTHING< walls , ceiling, floors, baseboards. I've used similar companies before, this company far outshines those competitors. Once they've cleaned they can fix.

Drew answered the phone himself and immediately made plans to come over and inspect the property. I had difficulty getting other companies to respond immediately and it was nice that he took his own call and came over quickly to look at it. He made an initial assessment that would have involved waterproofing the back wall of the crawlspace. When he came back to do the work it had been raining and he was able to assess the crawlspace further and recommended switching to installing a french drain and sump pump to accommodate the amount of water entering the crawlspace. He was able to revamp the estimate and the price was about the same. They replaced all the insulation in the crawlspace, installed a new french drain around the perimeter, they sealed the crawlspace, installed new vapor barrier, cleaned and treated for mold and installed two dehumidifiers. After they installed it, I came back to inspect it a few days later and found the basement flooded and sump pump floated out of the ground. I called Drew and he immediately responded and spent a good deal of time fixing the problem which turned out to be the sump valve installed backwards. I appreciated him coming out and telling me what had happened and taking responsibility to fix it. I've been happy with the results and would certainly call Drew again for any crawlspace problems.

We called Drew on a Saturday about scheduling an estimate for the next week. He made time to come out the same day to accommodate our schedules. He took his time reviewing the situation and answering our initial questions. He provided two quotes with different options and explained them in detail. We are individuals who do our "homework" and own research. Drew took the time to answer all of our many other questions to our satisfaction. The crew arrived on time, completed the job within specified time-frame. They were professional, courteous and did a fantastic job. They walked us through the job so we could inspect it along the way. They did a follow-up inspection two weeks after the job was complete to make sure we were satisfied and that the encapsulation is functioning as expected. We are very pleased with the results.

    Jackson & Jackson Inc.
When I first set out to get this job done, I received several bids from different contractors to fix the water problem in the basement. Arthur Jackson and Jackson $ Jackson, came in below everyone at $15,000. After seeing the quality of his work I decided to keep going with other updates/repairs.

I am very happy with the work completed on my home. Arthur, who is the owner of Jackson & Jackson is a great guy that understands what it takes to keep your customer happy. We were in contact every day to discuss the progress. There were several instances where I wasn't originally happy with the results. Arthur was quick to make the needed changes until I was happy. I look forward to working with him again on future properties. Thank you Jackson & Jackson..

    Seal-Tite Basement Waterproofing Co
The process of them putting in a sump-pump system in my basement getting water seepage went pretty well. It took them a long time to get to me because, from what I understand, they stay pretty busy. I was initially told my job wouldn't get done until February 29, 2016 but they then had an opening on December 23, 2015 and they came in and jack-hammered around the perimeter of my basement, where the water was coming in, and installed the piping, sump-pump and reservoir. Initially I was told it would be a one day job but as it happened, they had to come back later to finish up. The first day they did do everything except bury the outlet pipe outside and then re-cementing over where they had dug up my basement to install the piping. For about a week I did have a gravel filled trench in my basement but at least I didn't spend Christmas shop-vacuuming up water like I had been doing. They came back on December 30, 2015 for about half a day and finished up the job.

I thought the people at Seal-Tite were very nice to deal with.  Initially their estimate was over $3,000.00 but they gave me a little discount for having to reschedule my initial assessment and quote in November and they also honored their Angie's list coupon.

The important thing, the water has stopped flowing into my basement which ruined my carpet which I had removed by another contractor. I now have the task of picking out new carpeting, getting the new cement sealed, etc., which will be handled by someone else.

So far, everything they did seems to be working ok.

If you do hire them, be sure to give them a deposit so you can be put on their short list in case they have a cancellation. It saved me two months of waiting time for them to get to me on their schedule.

I did give them a "B" on their Responsiveness since they did take a while to get to me but it seems a lot of people these days are having water problems in their basements and crawlspaces so I can't "diss" them too much on that one. They did show up to do the job on time on both days which with contractors these days, from my experience, is a miracle.

    SURE DRI
Very well.  The crew started when expected and the work was only minimally disruptive to our normal routine.  The finished product looks very good installed and has worked perfectly since the installation date.

In addition, Keith went above and beyond the call of duty: I asked if I could keep the dirt they dug up for a future project but he suggested that they just haul it away and he could deliver some dirt when I needed it so that I didn't have a pile of dirt lingering for months in my yard.  Excellent customer service!
