    Vista Construction Group, LLC
Vista provided their estimate in the format required by the insurance company and made the repair process as painless as possible. They repaired the walls, ceiling, wood trim, etc., quickly, and with as littles mess as possible. All staff were professional and considerate. While they were there we had them do additional work to install a drop down ladder access to our attic, replace some light fixtures and add an electrical outlet. They did an excellent job from start to finish and completed the work in a timely manner.

made contact with matt on monday october 26th 2015, to request a estimate of the work to be done, asked for pictures to be sent after the work is completed, and to let me know before he goes to the house so i could inform my tenants that he would be arriving. Monday november 2nd the price was given for all the work that needed to be done.  on wendsday november 4th i sent matt a check  very promptly for the work that would be completed that friday. on friday nov 9th matt tells me that the price that he has given me was not correct and that the new price would be 100 plus more dollars. My husband called matt and matt told him that he would complete the work and "eat it" or take a loss.  i had not heard from matt so wendsday nov 11th i contact matt to see if he got the check and he says yes he did and that the following weekend he would continue doing more work. by monday november 16th i had not heard back from matt and so i contacted him he told me that he had hurt his back again on the previous friday and was not able to complete the work over the weekend, again by  tuesday november 24th i had not heard back from matt so i asked if the work had been completed he said no and that he would complete it saturday. saturday november 28th, he told me that he went to the house and had only completed only 1 side of the porch and that he left the materials on the property because the price of the materials was adding up to almost the price of the estimate and payment that i had sent him.  that was the last contact that we had with him. we were unsure of this persons truthfulness and so we did not send additional funds as receipts of the materials and things were not provided to us. matt showed up to the property without letting me know that he was enroute so that i could let my tenants know that he would be coming. when he did not show up he did not contract me. At one point he had shown up to the property unannounced and was in the back of the house (the work was done in the front porch), my tenants workers seen him and let my tenant know. They went outside and seen him and asked what he was doing, and he said he was looking for his ladder. The tenants had their ladders behind their house. So we are unsure if he was asking for money to cover this ladder that he cannot find. I have not received a receipt in the mail or any of the pictures that i requested.  He does have his payment from me though. From what i understand the work was done poorly  and we are now going to have to pay to have someone else come out and redo the work over again.

    1) Missed part of the gutter
    2) Had to rework project several times due to sloppy workmanship. Did not clean up site after work, many screws left on ground
Cost for a 2 man crew was $150/hour which was outrageous considering sloppy workmanship.  Original estimate was 6 hours and it ended up about 10 hours.

Work was slow  not finished.  I contacted Tim again to come and do some repair on the floor.  He came and looked at it contacted Lumber Liquidators about part of the problem but the work I needed him to do as far as trimming the laminate farther away from the wall (since he did not install under the base boards) he never came back to do and I am trying to do it myself.   The flooring in the utility room is wavy from being to tight against the wall.  This was all around the rooms.  When he screwed down the quarter round he screwed it down so that flooring had no movement at all after settling.

In the Kitchen we needed two ceiling lights to be moved further apart and thought it would involved remolding, but the fellow doing the job came up with  beautiful pre-molded bases that fit perfectly. We had can lights and dimmers installed in our dining room and kitchen and switched the primary hanging chandelier.
Our basement lights were inadequate and they installed good lights throughout.
We love the feel of our home now that there is enough light.
The work was done thoroughly, and the workmen were very good about cleaning up.
    They were extremely nice.
We will definitely use J and D again.l

He has built a deck and a cement wall and a set of stairs for me at my home in the past. He does yard work for me also and can even remodel homes. He is an all around handyman. He is very trustworthy and a very nice polite man.
