    Rubenstein, Dr. Seth A.
Excellent! Dr. Rubenstein is a fantastic doctor! I had severe foot pain, and after listening and asking thorough questions, he accurately diagnosed the problem and gave me options. I had to have surgery, and I felt completely confident in him as a doctor. He is extremely professional and listens really well. He doesn't dismiss any pain that you share. I have returned several times throughout the past three years for different foot problems and he has consistently been a great doctor. It is also nice that the x-rays can be done in the office. I have recommended this office to everyone with foot problems.

    Masternick, Dr. Eric B.
I showed up on time and started filling out forms. Met with nurse and started process including X-rays. I mentioned that I would need to see the office manager because the financial contract was onerous and most of it had nothing to do with me or my coverage. The nurse got her. This woman either had never read the contract, didn't understand it, or simply lied. She said they would not see me unless I signed it. Without any changes. I offered to self pay for the visit. By credit card. Since I was there. She kept demanding that I sign the contract, even though it was not pertinent. It was completely frustrating. This office is part of a consortium that clearly has a corporate attorney on staff with nothing else to do. I got up and walked out. Very angry. Don't waste your time with this office. There are plenty of other doctors in Reston. Some of whom have office managers who know their jobs. And who know what is in their contracts and/or can read. I have no idea what the doctor is like. But if this was his hire. I question his judgement on everything.

    Shabazz, Dr. Zakee
He examined both feet and ankles. He trimmed my nails cut away excess callous where needed. The lotion and foot massage relieved most of the pain. He was cheerful and friendly as he always is.

The staff was welcoming, Dr. arrived just a few minutes late.  Did a thorough exam.  Staff did xrays.  Determined heel pain caused by planter fasciitis.  Steroid injection and made suggestions for exercise treatment, very pleasant experience.

I arrived at the office a few minutes early.  The very personable receptionist took my new insurance info quickly, and within 10 minutes, I was taken to Dr. Gordon's office.  Dr. Gordon examined my foot carefully, and told me that he did not seen any redness or corns developing.  I do have a corn on my other foot, which Dr. Gordon treated with no discomfort to me.  I have been a patient of Dr. Gordon at this office for quite a few years.  Dr. Gordon is the consummate medical professional - excellent diagnostician, wonderful bedside manner, and very cautious about unnecessary procedures.  Every assistant and office personnel I have ever dealt with in the office has been prompt and put me at ease.  I have recommended this practice to several friends, and every one of them has been as happy with the service there as I have been.  If I could give this practice an A+ on this website, I certainly would!  If you are looking for an ethical, highly skilled podiatrist practice, I highly recommend Reston Foot and Ankle.

I asked for a cortisone shot and was told - on the next visit - why not this visit? Why should I pay again for another visit when I had already seen other providers? It's all about the money. The staff asked me about scheduling the next visit and I refused. I'm scheduling with another doctor to get the shot as I know it will happen without the drama of waiting. Got the same exercises that my rheumatologist told me to do (move my ankle like the alphabet - really? this is the specialist and was told my ankle was sprained - it's been on-going for 2 years and it's a sprain? Never again.

Dr. Hirad N. Bagy is AWESOME! ! ! My ankle was really twisted/swollen/hurt and Dr. H had be better after the first session. I was treated not only with soft tissue techniques (massage and manipulation) but also ultrasound. I went here till my ankle was much better (only about 3 more sessions). I go to Dr. H off and on. I highly recommend him and United Wellness Center.

It was just o.k.  I went b/c my toe was swollen and sore due to sports injuries and after consultation I decided not to do anything about it.  I just felt the assessment was blunt and didn't instill confidence.  It also seemed that he was much more pushing for surgery.  I went for a follow-up consultation, but again - decided that he was not who I wanted to have work on me.  I later went and had steroid injections and seemed to be fine for my foot.  I did decide to get orthotics from him and they have worked fine.

    Really great experience overall.
Also, after leaving the office, I called them back with a question I forgot to ask the doctor. He called me back at the end of the day to personally answer my question vs. having a nurse call back with a message. I really appreciated his personal attention.

    Shuman, Dr. Joanna G.
I fully expected to spend hundreds of dollars on orthotics. Dr. Shuman told me she could sell those to me if I wanted, but instead she could sell me off the shelf high quality orthotics (not custom made) for about a tenth of the price ($40), and that they would probably work just fine.
I followed her suggestion, and am glad I did. I'm also impressed that she suggested the cheaper alternative.
