    Paik, Dr. Ji Eun
I am SO happy with Dr. Paik. She treats me with respect and intelligence. The phone call I received from the nurse reporting the sonogram results gave me incredibly useful information about their findings. I am confident that I'm receiving first-class gynecological care. I'm post-menopausal, yet I receive at least as muchmaybe moreattention and care from her as I did during my child-bearing years with other providers. (Please note that the cost of service is my insurance co-pay.)

    Marci Krop Cook MD
Dr Cook has always taken extra care and time to address any concerns I have (even if not directly related to her area of speciality). She provides timely follow-up with results and next steps. Highly recommended!

I am so grateful that I received the excellent care that LCM provides for the birth of my first child. Each and every provider is warm, knowledgeable, and patient - you know that you are in good hands throughout your pregnancy, delivery and post natal followup. My delivery took some twists and turns, and they were there with me every step of the way. Cannot recommend LCM enough!

    Greenbriar OBGYN PC
Drs and nurse practitioner are very knowledgable, with great bedside manner. However, 1 of the nurses is very abrasive, with little bedside manner.
Very happy with this practice. Would highly recommend.

    Physicians for OB/GYN Care
To summarize: Rude front office, lab errors, billing errors, not open to questions, not patient-centered.
I do not feel that this practice is focused on caring for women. As many other reviews online have stated, the front desk receptionist is cold and uncaring. Beyond that, she can be downright mean and sarcastic. If you plan on calling in with a question more than once during your pregnancy, I suggest you have a very thick skin. After I had had to call in several times (see below for explanation), and stated my name, I was met with a sarcastic sigh, followed by a and quot;I will have to have someone call you back.and quot; The tone was much less than friendly.
I had difficulty not only with the front desk, but also with lab work. One of my tests during my pregnancy was not sent out. I had to call three days is a row (AFTER my tests were due back) to find this out. The front office lied to me (and quot; The doctor has them, she just needs to review them before calling youand quot;) for days before the doctor told me the truth- they had not been sent out. As it turns out, the test was abnormal and I required medication. If I had not called each day, I wouldn't have received the prescription I needed.
When I requested a copy of my medical records, they cancelled all of my future appointments without asking if I was leaving (I had been planning on a second opinon). No one ever asked if and/or why I was choosing to leave the practice.
Over a month later, I was erroneously billed $550. When I called to clear this up, I was immediately faced with attitude from the front desk. The receptionist raised her voice to me and was extremely unprofessional.
On top of all of these issues, while I found Dr. Cauble to be kind, I did not find the practice in general to be open to critical thinking. I felt that my questions were answered minimally, but when I raised any concern about something that was apart of my treatment, there was no discussion about options, and my questions were met with and quot; Here is what we recommend, no one will force you to take itand quot; rather than and quot; Here's why we're recommending this, and here are other options.and quot; When I brought up this question to two other practitioners later, neither of them could understand why the original recommendation was made to me- it did not follow standard of care.
My husband described the feeling of the office staff as a sorority- it seemed like they were the cool girls, and the patients were just getting in their way.
The only two positive things I can say is that Dr. Cauble is very nice and the appointments generally ran on schedule.
All in all, I suggest you stay away. This is not an emotionally safe place for a pregnant woman, nor is it a place for a critical thinker.

Didn't have to wait very long but I know some women who were waiting to see other physicians in this practice were waiting for quite some time due to other patient emergencies. I saw Dr. Kanwal Khan. Her Pap was performed quickly and painlessly and she took the time to discuss my concerns.

    Elliott, Dr. Jeffrey J
Dr. Elliott's bedside manner is excellent. He is gentle, straight forward, and explains things very clearly in plain language. His office staff are efficient and polite. I feel we'll treated by this practice.

Once I got there I was even more impressed with their efficiency. I could barely finish filling out my paperwork before my name was called! I then didn't have to wait long at all for the dr to see me. Furthermore, when I mentioned I still needed to schedule my mammogram, they said I could do it right then after the lab drew my blood- it was all in the same building! I was able to do a walk-in at the radiology center and only waited a mere 10 minutes. I was in and out in only one hour having accomplished what normally takes 3 separate appts over weeks of planning. I was so pleased!! And it was all under just ONE copay, so I saved money, too!! I am definitely going to keep going there for my yearly exams.

I cannot speak about the other Doctors in the practice, only the one that I saw, a Dr. McDonald. She was pleasant enough, but failed to explain everything to me about what the rash might be. She examined, took a culture and gave me a blood test. She was somewhat critical, asking me, a 60 yr. old, if I was having casual s**. I did not care for that comment, but maybe she had to ask. She did prescibe some medication. The test results were not revealed to me until Thursday of that week. I was to have a bunionectomy on Friday and really needed the results fast, as I told Dr. McDonald. I canceled my surgery. The things she tested me for came back negative. She tested for Shingles and Herpes 1 and 2. The nurse or whoever called me with the results told me it was not herpes. I asked about shingles and she said they didn't test for that. So I asked what I should do and she said Dr. McDonald was out of town. She did not offer to let me talk to another doctor. They have several there.Being perplexed about the results of the test, I called my Internist. She gave me an appointmet for Friday. I got a copy of my blood work from Perfectly Female and took it to my doctor. She looked at it and said, yes they did test for shingles and it was negative. After an examination she told me it was classic herpes 2 (not genital herpes). She told me what to do to relief the soreness and to continue with the medicine Dr. McDonald gave me.
This is not the first time I have had a problem with Dr. McDonald. My daughter, who is not promiscuous, found out that her boyfriend (age 22, she is 23) had cheated on her. She was concerned and went in to be tested for STD's. A wise decision. Dr. McDonald gave her a lecture about having unmarried s**. A lecture that had her crying by the end. I called to complain, but never got any satisfaction. She has no business giving out her personal moral advice.

I should have walked out right after I walked in. When I wrote my name on the sign in sheet the receptionist started telling me about a women she knew 40 years ago with the same last name as me. Apparently she was so distracted by this she forgot to actually check me in even though she took my money and information. After an hour waiting in the almost empty waiting room, I questioned why I was still waiting. They told me they forgot me and the MD I was suppose to see could no longer see me but someone else would fit me in since it was their mistake. The actual pelvic exam and pap smear was extremely painful and brought tears to my eyes. I have NEVER had a painful exam before. I had significant bleeding after the exam, which has never happened to me either. The NP asked about some bruising and scratches on my leg and I told her they were from a puppy (german shepherd) and she called me a liar and said I needed to report my abuser and gave me the number for social services. She also told me my thyroid was abnormal and I needed to be checked for thyroid cancer and gave me a phone number for a different doctor. I left the office crying and called my COP husband (the said and quot;abuserand quot;) and told him what had happened. I was so upset he had to come pick me up and drive me home.
About a week or so later I got a post card in the mail to call for my lab results. I had given a urine sample and they drew blood. When I called the NP told me over the phone I was infertile and would never have children ( I am 27). A few days later I called to get a copy of the labs to take to my previous GYN for a second opinion and they told me there was a mistake and the results I was given that were in my chart were actually another patient's results and my labs were actually normal and never apologized. There was also nothing wrong with my thyroid.
The only part of the experience I did not have a problem with was billing. They actually over charged me (probably because she was telling me her life story) so they sent me a check.
