Michael Nash Design Build & Homes
Michael Nash finished our basement which included installing a full bath. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Communication with the company was excellent. The professionalism of the entire staff from Sonny to the installers, was demonstrated by their insightful design suggestions, attention to detail, quality of installation and addressing the matters that did come up promptly. They treated our home as theirs as they were working on-site. Our experience with the Michael Nash team lead us to select them again to remodel both our upstairs bathrooms.

    XTREME PAINTING & REMODELING, LLC
How does one properly extol the best contracting experience he's ever had? I don't know, but Dan and his team certainly delivered it when I decided to remodel my kitchen and first floor. I am the envy of my neighborhood thanks to the remarkable job they did on my Reston townhouse by the water. First, it's great to have one throat to choke on a complete demolition and remodeling of an entire floor of the house. Dan Jasinski and his crew at XPR (shout-out to Gustavo and Sidney!) made me feel that there was nothing I ever needed to worry about. This was a huge job done with no drama whatsoever and the small glitches that inevitably came up were handled immediately and with expert professionalism. Their coordination and efficiency has to be seen to be believed. I was given an estimate of seven weeks to complete the job and they literally left on the last day of the seventh week, never once missing a day of work for lack of materials, cabinets, flooring, or any other reason. I have recommended them to all of my neighbors looking to upgrade their homes and they will definitely be back to work on any and all future renovations at my house now that I have found them.

    Kim Johnson Designs
Kim is fantastic!! She takes such an interest in her clients and provides the absolute best service. She knows exactly how to transform a space to make it functional for her client's needs. She is very detailed and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. For example, she spent many extra hours helping us fix our kitchen design (we made numerous adjustments and she was always happy to help). She has phenomenal cabinet makers who were easy to work with--we adjusted our plan 3 times, but they were quick to help and didn't mind recreating the design. Kim has lots of experience and knowledge about home design. Another concern for us was the price. Since she has companies she works with she can get her clients fantastic discounts, and it is a very smooth and easy process since she knows them very well. She helped us get the best prices to stay within our budget. I can't say enough about how much we loved working with her. Highly recommend!

    Let's Remodel
Where to start...I bought my house because it was a great value, in a great location with everything I wanted and needed. Everything except the main bathroom. I won't call it a master bathroom because that would imply space, and some masterful about it. None of that held true. The move was from the East Coast, by car hauling a small utility trailer and 3 dogs. Part of the MUST haves upon arrival was caulk. Yes. Long story short, that mini bathroom has 2 entrances right across from each other with access from hallways. I looked for months for inspiration on how I could possible strip it down and make it a kick *** remodel. In May I sent a few feelers out for local remodel bathroom contractors. Sent pictures of my disaster. Rachel, called me back stat and we talked on the phone about the project. That convo was definitely intriguing enough to follow up with a visit to the showroom. I spent 2 hours there and we had a design. And boy/girl was that a kick *** looking concept. I wanted minimalist, flow, modern with a touch of woodsy. I got just that. Getting through the estimate process was fairly painless since I got a lot of wiggle room to hire my own electrician and door artisan (using reclaimed wood from NW Reclaim), shower rod system and faucets. The work started on time within the time frame I needed. Overall the bathroom was done in 4 weeks. The entire team is great but I want to give a special shout out to Igor, the demo, framing, tile, drywall, man who does 90% of the labor, because he was precise, patient, kind and all around professional. I say kind because I experienced a life ending emergency with my senior dog and he was there, helped, and went right back to his job. Very humble, efficient and hard working. Never left a mess. I love my bathroom and can't wait to match my kitchen next year. Definitely recommending Let's remodel! Couple of comments about the pictures here below. #1: Also part of the initial moving convoy was my dog's shower curtain. Pavel recommended I get glass panels on the side of the shower but I wanted my dog's shower curtain over any design consideration. As part of the shower curtain install, I wanted the rounded double rod so I can attach my towel to the outer row. No point in crowding the already small space with more hardware, am I right? Works great by the way (not shown on pic). So say hello to Gypsy on the curtain (she is the one that passed away - see ref here above). #2: The door frame still needs to be finished (NOT Let's Remodel's responsibility. Pavel installed the door casing, frame and trim from wood I chose and provided. The door frame was all crooked to begin with so Pavel fixed it all. That part of the project should be finished this weekend by Dale from Tonsilvania Designs in Portland, who made the 2 barn doors) #3: I refuse to post the before pictures as my sanity for buying this house might be challenged. That and who wants to remember the creepy ugly version? No one. You are welcome ;-)

    Unparalleled Eye Designs
I needed another set of eyes to help with colors, layout, and functionality of our townhouse. Noel and I walked through my entire *small* home and she gave me her thoughts and ideas for each space. She was not judgmental and validated some of my own ideas. Her professional opinions have helped create a road map for where I'd like to go with my home over the next couple of years. Unparalleled Eye Designs was prompt in returning my calls, worked with me to squeeze me into their full schedule, on-time to our appointment, created a no-pressure environment, gave me ideas I hadn't thought of, and, in general, seemed very knowledgeable about the field of interior design. Very professional at every interaction. I would use them again and would definitely recommend Unparalleled Eye Designs.

    The Model Home Look
The Model Home Look does simply wonderful work as good as it gets. The talented designer and manager, Mike Ford, is a patient, artistic perfectionist. He starts by creating realistic 3D computer designs - showing you ahead of time how the project will look while making changes you suggest. He then guides the process along expertly, helping to pick materials and fixing any seemingly impossible problems you may come up with. The cabinets are the finest we have ever seen, and the workmanship and service is too. Our penthouse was one of six homes chosen for the 2017 Reston Home Tour. The event planners chose a photo of our awesome new Model Home Look master bath to advertise the home tour in Reston magazine.

    Begue General Contractors Inc
We are very happy with the results. The house is almost completely redone. Everything is always completed in a timely fashion. We still plan to have more work done and will definitely work with Begue Contractors. The workers are polite, hard working, and always clean up after the work.

    Wrought Iron Elegance LLC
Outstanding! The results are stunning! Shannon (the owner) was a dream to work with on the project - we were able to choose from several gorgeous design layouts that she did. We chose one and the couple who did the work (sorry I can't remember their names right now) were an absolute delight! Fast, efficient, cleaned-up. One of the easiest home improvement projects we've had done!

    Scott Cooke Design
Scott helped us create an overall plan for our family room, which included a fireplace renovation and new furniture. He came up with a solution for seating in a difficult space, and then helped us shop for a sectional sofa and chair. The pieces look great. One of his best contributions was suggesting that we mount a recently inherited Chinese screen on a wall - it is stunning there, and we wouldn't have thought of that. Scott is professional and well versed in his field, and has a lot of experience and creativity to offer.
