AJW Home ImprovementWe had some floorboards buckle in our basement due to an unknown source of water. Jeff Dahlgren was fantastic and very helpful in helping us figure out the problem and his repairs were great (after having to dig up concrete and cap off a mysterious open pipe that came out of nowhere). He also did some other things (repairing drywall, installing new fixture and faucet), was on time, professional, clean, and friendly. It's really hard to work in a home wearing a mask and keeping things clean and tidy during pandemic, minimizing disturbance for kids in virtual school, and we really appreciate that.- Vivian H.

AJW Home ImprovementWe had a wide range of tasks that needed to be done around our house, and we saved a lot of time and money by having JW do all of them, rather than hiring multiple separate firms. Kevin and Soren did an excellent job -- they did quality work, worked efficiently, and and were good to communicate with. Jesse did an excellent job helping us define the scope of our project and identify what needed to be done (and what didn't need to be done). Kevin even made a couple extra trips to complete some electrical work that proved to be more complex than we anticipated. Ruben pays exceptional attention to details and takes pride in his work. The guys did a great job installing a very difficult tile, a mosaic pattern, that turned out gorgeous. AI've worked with Ted at Rent-A-Pro Handyman Services a handful of times now, and I’ve been pleased with my experiences. Most recently, they came out at short notice, within a day or two, to find the cause of a leak showing up on the basement ceiling. They found and fixed that leak but a couple days later, ANOTHER unrelated leak showed up in a different spot. Ted got someone out the same day (this was right around the holidays mind you) who found and fixed the 2nd leak. Depending upon how you look at it, I was fortunate for both of these leaks to happen so close in time because they were able to do all the drywall repair at once. One of the drywall repairs didn't dry smoothly, but when I let Ted know, he promptly had someone out to fix it. Rent-A-Pro may not be the cheapest in town but they do quality work, they're responsive, prompt, and appreciative of repeat customers.

F"I had accepted Premier Home Improvement's quote but then they started to stop paying attention to me. I called the office multiple times to find out when they were starting the work and was told once that the project manager would contact me. After 3 other calls and voice mails I have yet to hear back from them. They were aware, or at least acknowledged I am on a schedule but have not returned any messages. The other issue is that they charged me almost $30 for the quote on work they have shown are not interested in doing. "
