Tile Installation reviews in Reston

Tom Simon and his son took on my kitchen remodel while I was out of town for a family emergency. They were very responsive to questions and gave me great advice. They took care of issues that arose unexpectedly when i was not available. When I returned, I found the work to be just what I wanted. I will definitely hire them to complete other remodeling jobs for me.

The work was done on time, as promised. The communications were great, the mid project modifications were taken in-stride. The finishing touches were completed quickly. Great outfit that works with you to define the project and then executes as promised.

Jose and team did an excellent job on our project. It included removing paneling, repairing drywall, installing recessed lights, crown and baseboard molding and carpet, laying a tile entry, installation of fireplace mantel and painting of the two rooms. We have guests coming at the end of the month and appreciated that he completed the project on time. We requested a few adjustments to the work (re-grouting for tile color and changes in the lights) and he happily accommodated. Also, there was some question about whether new drywall would be needed and he was able to repair the old - saving on the cost. Jose is a genuinely nice person and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend him and plan to use him again in the future.

This is the second project that we hired Munoz Construction to do because we were so pleased with his work the first time. We needed to renovate our two bedroom rental condo, which included the complete replacement of the kitchen and full bathroom, as well as updating the half bathroom, repainting the entire unit, replacing interior and closet doors, replacing several light fixtures, and installing carpet throughout the bedrooms, hallway and living room. Jose was great at communicating with us throughout the project. We were able to pick out all of the models of toilets, vanities, lights, and fixtures for the bathrooms that we wanted. Jose also works with a cabinet and countertop person so that we could purchase what we wanted and they could coordinate directly with Jose for the installation. We purchased the appliances for the kitchen and had them delivered for the crew to install when they were ready. He does quality work and was able to handle anything we wanted (plumbing, electrical, tile floors, vinyl plank flooring, and carpet). We are very happy with how everything turned out.

Where to start...I bought my house because it was a great value, in a great location with everything I wanted and needed. Everything except the main bathroom. I won't call it a master bathroom because that would imply space, and some masterful about it. None of that held true. The move was from the East Coast, by car hauling a small utility trailer and 3 dogs. Part of the MUST haves upon arrival was caulk. Yes. Long story short, that mini bathroom has 2 entrances right across from each other with access from hallways. I looked for months for inspiration on how I could possible strip it down and make it a kick *** remodel. In May I sent a few feelers out for local remodel bathroom contractors. Sent pictures of my disaster. Rachel, called me back stat and we talked on the phone about the project. That convo was definitely intriguing enough to follow up with a visit to the showroom. I spent 2 hours there and we had a design. And boy/girl was that a kick *** looking concept. I wanted minimalist, flow, modern with a touch of woodsy. I got just that. Getting through the estimate process was fairly painless since I got a lot of wiggle room to hire my own electrician and door artisan (using reclaimed wood from NW Reclaim), shower rod system and faucets. The work started on time within the time frame I needed. Overall the bathroom was done in 4 weeks. The entire team is great but I want to give a special shout out to Igor, the demo, framing, tile, drywall, man who does 90% of the labor, because he was precise, patient, kind and all around professional. I say kind because I experienced a life ending emergency with my senior dog and he was there, helped, and went right back to his job. Very humble, efficient and hard working. Never left a mess. I love my bathroom and can't wait to match my kitchen next year. Definitely recommending Let's remodel! Couple of comments about the pictures here below. #1: Also part of the initial moving convoy was my dog's shower curtain. Pavel recommended I get glass panels on the side of the shower but I wanted my dog's shower curtain over any design consideration. As part of the shower curtain install, I wanted the rounded double rod so I can attach my towel to the outer row. No point in crowding the already small space with more hardware, am I right? Works great by the way (not shown on pic). So say hello to Gypsy on the curtain (she is the one that passed away - see ref here above). #2: The door frame still needs to be finished (NOT Let's Remodel's responsibility. Pavel installed the door casing, frame and trim from wood I chose and provided. The door frame was all crooked to begin with so Pavel fixed it all. That part of the project should be finished this weekend by Dale from Tonsilvania Designs in Portland, who made the 2 barn doors) #3: I refuse to post the before pictures as my sanity for buying this house might be challenged. That and who wants to remember the creepy ugly version? No one. You are welcome ;-)

Tile selection at the recommended shop went very well and the designer made great recommendations. Work began as scheduled. Demo and wall prep was completed the first day as well as about 25 % of the tiling. Job was completed the second day. Work was done quickly with great care to protect flooring from front door to work area. Excellent work.

It was a small job in the grand scheme of renovations, but it involved carefully removing the undamaged cabinets and molding, and replacing everything that had been done in a high end renovation with the same quality of work. Chris came a few days after put a request in for an estimate. He brought one of his crew heads so that there would be two eyes on what needed to be done. Despite the fact that is right before the Fourth of July, they came back with an estimate on Sunday evening. They estimate was reasonable and they could start in two days. They said it would take a week to 10 days and it took 10 days, despite the fact that they found some additional electrical problems that needed to be fixed. Everything went extremely smoothly. They protected our floors and countertops so that they were not damaged. They carefully matched the paints we had and rebuilt the light box above the sink. The tilework was redone as well as it had been done the first time. Everyone was nice. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves every day.

I own a rental in Northern VA but live on the west coast, so I needed a reliable contractor that could manage the entire job cost effectively. Charles took care of an entire tile installation throughout the condo, including coordinating with my tenant, delivery of the materials, thorough cleanup afterwards, return unused materials, painting affected areas, etc. The contract was specific and detailed without any ambiguity, communication was constant and thorough throughout the job, the schedule was maintained, and the tenant said it was a great job. He was working seven days a week to oversee the crew and send updates, which really set me at ease.

NVS did a major renovation in the summer of 2016. It went so well we hired them in the fall of 2017 to to complete the home beautification process. Dawn Parker was our designer & sales consultant. She designed the deck and guided us in choosing materials for all the other projects that worked well with the 1st renovation. The deck off the family room is just beautiful. Casey Saunders was our Project Manager. Casey went above & beyond in making sure everything was done to our satisfaction. So, so happy with our "new" home!!

Jose and his crew are the ultimate professionals! Jose listens and is willing to talk through solutions to come up with the best outcome; he is a delight to work with and we would recommend him and his crew to anyone. They did excellent work, were neat and kept the path to the bathroom covered in drop cloths, and kept us informed every step of the way. There were never any surprises - they were on time and finished one day earlier than estimated. We asked Jose to incorporate some other small items into the scope and he did so, providing us with pricing for the work at the time we discussed it. He provided us with a warranty for the work, which really impressed us.
