    I highly recommend Above the Rest for appliance repairs. My refrigerator was making a loud noise, Above the Rest was the only company that followed through after I contracted them. The owner, Umar, was extremely professional and despite it being Friday afternoon, he still fit me into their tight schedule and even drove to Alexandria to get the needed part. Umar went above and beyond to accommodate me. Jason, the technician, arrived within the window of time that Umar provided. Jason was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the problem. An excellent experience all around and I will not hesitate to contact them again.

    Fix for water dispenser/filter system required replacement of the system. It took three trips, but was well done. We now get a robust stream of water again rather than a trickle. - The bottom drawer freezer was accumulating ice on the bottom of the drawer which impeded the closure and required regular scraping. Since a new gasket was installed, the build up is gone! - I was very pleased with the responsiveness of the office and with the technician and his work. I will definitely use again as needed for appliance issues.

    We were extremely happy with the service provided by Expert Appliance Services. They were quick to respond to our initial request for assistance, got someone to come out to look at the dryer within 24 hours and got us back on our feet again in about 40 minutes. The repairman called ahead, was on-time, courteous and stepped my wife through what he was doing with the repair. He was very efficient and we would be happy to have them come back again.

    First, I was so pleased that I called Bill on Friday afternoon and he said he'd be in my area Saturday morning. I was thrilled to be able to not have to wait. He showed up well within the two hour window. He carefully inspected the dryer and advised a particular part was needed. He checked and didn't have it on his truck, so he asked if I minded that he needed to go pick it up from a store in Sterling. He said he'd be back within about two hours, but was back before then. He completed the repair quickly. He did suggest that I need to have the vent cleaned because a clogged vent can cause the dryer to fail prematurely. He was pleasant and helpful. I would be happy to hire him again when another appliance needs repair.

    My experience with this company was very disappointing. At first, I had a very positive impression. The scheduling of service and communications I received left me with the initial thought that this was a well run operation. The technician arrived on time, did the diagnosis (with the tenant on site) and I promptly received an electronic invoice. However, when I read the document, the tech indicated all of the things he checked.... but he did not discover the source or resolve the problem. When I called the company to follow up, they were apologetic but indicated that they would be willing to send out a second, more experienced technician at no additional charge to see if they could resolve the problem. Recognizing that sometimes a second set of eyes is helpful, we set a second appointment for Wednesday with a 12-5 p.m. appointment window. I had just given up on the tech and left the property when he called at 5:;03 to advise he would be there in 15 minutes (at 5:20), so I went back. And when he arrived--IT WAS THE SAME TECHNICIAN AS THE FIRST TIME. He disassembled some components and appeared again to be at a loss, so I stuck my head in as well to try to trouble shoot. At the end, we discovered and improvised a resolution. But I believe had I not been there to prod, the tech would have given up again. I would likely have used this company again if they had sent a more experienced technician (as they had said) and had he/she resolved the problem. But the poor follow through of the technician AND management (by not holding to their commitment) guarantees that I will seek out someone else for any future appliance work.

    Perfectly. It was an early evening appointment on Saturday - when Jason discovered that he didn���t have a required part (and I resigned myself that I would have to wait till Monday), 30 minutes later Umar showed up with it! So grateful! Wonderful, professional, and courteous young men. ( I���ve done two loads of laundry since.) Above The Rest is DEFINTELY my go-to ���fixer��� from now on.

    It was a 24 year old unit and not reparable. They tried to find a replacement part to no avail. They were very professional and did everything they could to salvage the unit but it was no longer available from either the manufacturer or after-market suppliers. They kept us informed as they went through the search process and cut their fee in half when the search ultimately failed. This in forty years is the only time we've ever had this consideration from a service provider. It's higher integrity than we've grown accustom to and we will definitely use this service again should the need arise.
