    The Ivy Preparatory School
STAY AWAY!!! See all formal VA State violations - [*** Link removed ***] Additionally....Our one one-year old attended this hidden gem (as one fake review suggested on Yelp) for about 5 weeks. Big mistake! We had the benefit of dropping her off and picking up at times not when all things were dressed up to cover the chaos and unprofessionalism. It goes like this: 1) the two owners, Ann Chu (Korean origin) and Anna Corley are young women that never had children or degrees in child development or Education. Anna Corley managed to graduate from the #1 party school in Florida. Miss Chu finishes a degree in Arts. See their biographies on their site and think about it hard before even going for interview with that establishment. 2) their website boasts Spanish as the second language. Wrong - it is the first language, because they hire Spanish-speaking workers (because they are cheap) and in fact many of them cannot speak ANY English. I am sure you can use sign language to communicate with them if you want. 3) their main child care giver was a pathologist (hopefully not for dead people) prior to joining their outfit from Puerto Rico. Want to read more? 4) our daughters bruises were unexplained (of course, every child gets bruises). Mis Chu will convince you that it is normal (with a smile on her face). She thinks she is a doctor, forgot to tell you. 5) our daughters water bottle always came nice and full every day. Children dont need to drink water if they dont want to. Again - talk to Miss Chu. She will tell you everything you need to know about your child. 6) 17 days sick in 5 weeks. That is our daughters track record. 4 doctor visits to treat our daughters infections and viruses acquired from children that should have never been admitted in the first place. But who cares, right? The key is for Miss Chu to have the cash flow coming in. 7) The Ivy Preparatoty School is a big statement. I call this whole rig a bunch of false advertising. Not sure how they got the state license to run the child car facility. Classic example of check the box application. Anyways, folks, do your research. We wish we did...

    The Ivy Preparatory School
We switched to the Ivy when our son was 4 months old and we absolutely love it. They really focus on child development while providing a stimulating environment. The rooms are clean and bright with natural light. Teachers are loving. Communication with parents is great. We receive pictures daily of our son participating in various activities. The Ivy is a hidden gem, I'm so glad we found it.

    Parker, Dr. D Andrew
Dr. Parker was wonderful! He listened to everything I said, answered questions, did not rush me and very impressive to me always took the time to introduce the staff who came into the office to help with the appointment. This all exemplified his bedside manner -- friendly, accessible and considerate of his patients and staff. He was my THIRD second-opinion and the only one who considered my wishes, didn't act like his opinion was the only one that mattered and he conservatively recommended another MRI to see exactly what was happening to my shoulder since months had passed since my last MRI. Four months into my six-month predicted recovery I am seeing results through physical therapy each week. This surgery is not for the faint-hearted, but if you need it performed, like I did, I would recommend you use the best doctor you can find. Dr. Parker fits the bill!

Bodies In Motion Physical Therapy II, LLC
I was not impressed with this place. I had a full knee replacement in April 2017. Due to my knee not bending and reaching the 90 degrees quickly the surgeon had me back in hospital for a manipulation end of May. On that day the knee bend reached 72 percent, But unfortunately the therapist I worked, KAITLYN BIANCO did not do much to help me progress further. I was several times put on machinery that I distinctly stated I could not climb on to or that was not in my best interests per my doctors and surgeon. Several times I ended up hurt and having to have adjustments at my chiropractor who also strongly advised against the use of such machinery. The other problem was that Kate took way too much time off. My surgeon suggested that I request that when she was out, I work with another therapist at that practice. What a nightmare occurred last week with Greg Hartman. He was stupid enough to use a "Brookstone" back massager on my swollen leg (due to blood clot), not to mention that I am on blood thinners. This so called therapist Greg caused me a lot of pain, subsequent bruising and a very swollen ankle. The incident was just traumatic! Following up with my doctors they cannot comprehend the stupidity of this "idiot therapist" and his incompetence! On Monday, 26th June I was back with my regular therapist but of course now I am being asked meekly "What can I do to help you?" Surely, qualified therapists should not be asking me these questions, they should be now know what is needed. I have had PT previously at other practices and never experienced this kind of nonsense. Thankfully, I have found a more suitable place that know how to address the problem of a knee surgery. I can only hope that my leg will return back to normal soon. Bodies in Motion have wasted many crucial recovery weeks of mine! I strongly hold Bodies in Motion very responsible for their stupidity and carelessness and sincerely hope that they have not caused a huge physical problem to me. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this practice UPDATE: please nobody use this woman Kaitlyn Bianco! This hideously obese so called PT therapist has caused me huge medical problems with a knee replacement. Not to mention the pain I have been put through as a result of her negligence, including a second manipulation which is very painful!!!! Currenty, we have a huge investigation (several witness involved) with the Virginia Medical Board and hope there will be a satisfactory result from it. Kate Bianco treated me like an idiot writing reports on me that were totally untrue. First of all I am British and have command of the English language so much better than she does, yet she writes insulting reports that "patient does not comprehend". Also a PT therapist is supposed to follow the surgeon/doctor's orders not be sarcastic and do what she wants. This woman was constantly eating food when she should have been paying attention. I sincerely hope that Kaitlyn is fired or removed from causing further problems to another patient. As of October 2017. The staff are now being harassing me for reporting this to the Virginia Medical Board.

    Comfort Chiropractic
I made a call to another chiropractor, and while they weren't open that day to new walk-ins, they referred me to Comfort Chiropractics. I called, and they had an opening the same day; an hour after I made the appointment and filled out their questionnaire online, I was in their office, getting a rundown of how things went. The receptionists were warm, friendly, and informative, and after a 20-minute session with an EMS machine, I was attended to by Dr. Welch. Dr. Welch was also warm and friendly, and as it was my first time, asked me a few questions as we discussed what was going on to pinpoint my issue. Then she made her adjustments. I walked out feeling much better, and looser than I had in years. I am now still going here for adjustments. Every adjustment has been awesome and I've noticed marked improvements in mobility and feeling (except for the last few visits, where they've been more maintenance than anything). Dr. Welch also will occasionally work muscles in my back if they are particularly tight with pinpoint massage or pressure points, which burns initially but leaves me feeling invigorated and helps with everyday movement and posture. They take many types of insurance, and with the few issues we've had in that regard, they've been very helpful in trying to get things figured out and sorted with paperwork, although we needed to do the legwork with contacting the insurance ourselves and paying for what falls under the deductible (which would normally be our business anyways). Way better than my last chiropractor; I highly recommend using their services.

    Perron Chiropractic
Dr. Perron has provided excellent treatment over the years to deal with all of my various concerns. He is one of a very few local chiropractors trained to Advanced Proficiency in the Activator Method. Despite my severe scoliosis, I am now able to lead a much more active life since my back and entire body are aligned appropriate to my condition. In addition to adjusting my spine and various other bones, Dr. Perron has recommended specific stretches, exercises, and even Pilates so I tend to stay in proper alignment. Dr. Perron and his staff are professional, friendly, and courteous at all times. They are always willing to go the extra mile to fit me in if I have an unexpected injury. My children visit him and I have sent several friend to Dr. Perron. I would highly recommend Dr. Perron to anyone interested in quality chiropractic care.

    Tri Therapeutic Massage
As explained above, both my wife and I have experienced significant relief and healing as a result of Tracey's multidimensional therapies and advice. She has seen me through a career ending back injury and my wife through the aftereffects of cancer surgery and chemotherapy.

I tore my rectus abdominus from my pubic bone a little over a year ago and have had two surgeries to repair. I have continued having pain and issues while diligently performing exercises and seeking treatment from 3-4 different Physical Therapists and 2 Chiropractors. What's I've learned is that, unfortunately, most practitioners don't know the core muscles well enough to actually help... they told me to do planks, and so I did planks... but most just don't have the level of experience to specifically recognize the intricacies of using the correct muscles (and using them correctly!) I finally found Secili DeStefano at Bodies in Motion in Reston, VA. I could tell after a single visit that this lady KNOWS what she is doing, (and that I've wasted the past year with every other therapist I've seen :( ...) I never really understood until now how important it is to find the right doctors... they just aren't all created equally! She is extremely detailed in her instructions, personable, helpful, accommodating, passionate about what she does... you name it. I can't say enough good things about her. In summary, my personal experience with the injury has been a long and challenging year. I have still not fully recovered but I feel I would have had much more success if I had found a better physical therapist right off the bat. I HIGHLY recommend trying to get in to see Secili DeStefano specifically.

Children's House Montessori School provides a wonderful education for
children 3 - 6 years.  They offer a traditional Montessori education
with music, Spanish, and lots of nature studies.  They take hikes
weekly, and have created an awesome outdoor play space.  The caring and
nurturing staff encourage a love of learning in the children and provide
a family friendly environment for everyone.  We are very happy here.

    Loudoun Community Midwives
I am so grateful that I received the excellent care that LCM provides for the birth of my first child. Each and every provider is warm, knowledgeable, and patient - you know that you are in good hands throughout your pregnancy, delivery and post natal followup. My delivery took some twists and turns, and they were there with me every step of the way. Cannot recommend LCM enough!
