    Quick Remodels LLC
Ive used Quick Remodels for three remodeling projects (basement, two bathrooms) at my rental property and two remodeling projects at my home (kitchen and master bathroom). We have been so impressed with their work. Time and time again, I count on Santiago and his team for any and all projects from handyman projects to complete remodels. Santiago was great at listening to our plans and was able to anticipate problems or issues and came up with creative solutions to avoid delays. The projects were completed on time and on budget. Their team went out of their way to make sure the work was completed on time. Santiago is easy to contact and responds quickly. The quality of work is superb and weve received many compliments about our kitchen and bath from neighbors, friends and family. We highly recommend Quick Remodels for projects and will continue to utilize them in the future.

Absolutely a wonderful experience!  I cannot say enough good things about Javier who is the big boss at the business.  I wish all my contractors were like him.  He is the true definition of "customer-friendliness." He cares about the quality of his work and wants to do everything to the satisfaction of the customer at all costs.  I had an old kitchen built in 1983, with an electric stove and some extra walls built around a structural column.  His people gutted out the whole kitchen and drew a gas line and hid the column inside the cabinets so that the look and the feel of the kitchen completely changes. Everyone who has seen the new kitchen have fallen IN LOVE with it! The master bath also looks gorgeous with a new frameless shower door and a new double-vanity and new lighting.  The hardwood floor looks GORGEOUS; absolutely beautiful!  I kept adding to the things I asked Javier's team to do, and I never got anything but a "yes" accompanied with smile.  The tone that Javier sets in his company has rippled down through all his team from sales to design to construction. They all care about customer satisfaction.  It was a pleasure to work with Cemmy and Orlando, who were very professional and intent on doing things to satisfy my needs and desires.  And all of this at a very reasonable price!  I cannot find enough words to say how happy I was with their work, how much I enjoyed interacting with them.  They changed  the awful headache of a renovation project to a pleasurable task of creating something special that made the whole project a lot of fun!  I recommend them wholeheartedly and look forward to the next opportunity to use them again!

They were pretty good. Everything went pretty well and I don't have any complaint. They took a little time to respond to my call, but they eventually did. The workers that came were really professional.

    Discover Granite & Marble
Discover worked with me fabricating a slab of granite I purchased at auction. They helped me determine how many slabs to bid on prior to auctions end, picked up and fabricated our counter tops and island tops. They did a beautiful job.

    Granite Center LLC
We needed a new kitchen countertop but were a bit nervous about the whole process because (1) we knew it was a big expense, and (2) we knew we'd be "stuck" with whatever we chose for decades to come so we wanted to get it right the first time.
We happened upon a newspaper ad for Granite Center in Sterling, Virginia (Phone: 703-956-9470) and went to them to see if they could help us.
We were positively impressed with Granite Center from the moment we stepped in - their showroom was beautiful and everyone that greeted us was very courteous and professional. They had a nice variety of granite colors, including some that we hadn't seen in other granite places we had visited. Every staff member seemed truly happy to be able to help us, from making us feel more at ease about the process to being genuinely honest about what they thought would and would not be the best look for our particular kitchen. The business owner, Mr. Ramazan Karaman, treated us as old friends - even offering to work late on a Saturday after finishing up another job his company had that Saturday, to help fit our schedule (we didn't ask him to give up his Saturday - he offered out of his own good will!). Their crew that came it to actually remove the old countertop and install the new granite was also a very professional crew. Their pricing was more than reasonable, and they did not nickel and dime us - they still gave us the package deal of $2500 for  50 sq. ft. of installed granite plus kitchen sink, even though our countertop was slightly over 50 sq. ft.
They did an incredibly beautiful and professional job - our kitchen layout made it impossible to have the granite be a single slab all the way around but I tell you, it is very, very difficult to find the seam they had to do between granite slabs. They also had a quick 1-week turn-around time from the moment we agreed to get this service from them to the day we were staring at our newly installed granite countertop.  And they were right - the particular granite color and pattern they recommended looks absolutely fantastic with our existing kitchen counters. We are so glad we trusted them with this service - we couldn't have asked for better results. We now consider everyone at Granite Center our friends (they really were that friendly and personable!), and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for kitchen remodeling services!

    EleGant Marble & Granite
I have visited and purchased my granite from Elegant Marble in the past and have recommended them to several of my friends...needless to say they were very pleased with their professionalism and quality of their granite. They are very good at helping customers with selections and know a lot about the different materials. You won't be sorry if you visit Elegant Marble.  Thank you Tony, John and Susan for all your help

    Dominion Granite & Marble
First the master bathroom was implemented. We were told that they were having staffing issue and their fabricator was off/out. Our schedule was not adhered to. When the two slabs were installed around the soaking tub, they had connecting seems at the head and foot of the granite, as planned. However, the seams where not shimmed to level. Rather, they were quickly installed by the install team at 6pm at the end of a long day elsewhere. In and out in what seemed like less than an hour. The seams were terrible - to the point where you could see shadow lines because one section was so much higher than the other. After complaining repeatedly, we finally got them to come back out, where we had to argue about the merits of the work. The, finally crawl under the tub to show them that there had been no attempt to shim the slabs to level. Reluctantly, Dominion's owners agreed to have the same install team come out. Rather than re-level, they simply ground the uneven part of the granite away to level the two pieces, resulting in a shinny appearance along the seam on a granite piece that is intended to have a matt finish. Ugh.

Second the kitchen counter tops. Where to begin?! Under one 24 inch cabinet, which was mounted between two drywall columns, the granite was installed with an overhang of 1" on the left side and over 21/2" on the right side. Meaning the slab was actually 1 1/2" out of plane over a 24" length, clearly visible to the layman, but somehow not visible to the "experts" that manage and install for Dominion. Additionally, we had two stone columns on either side of a wolf range + 24" lower cabinet section. The columns had countertop level coves where we could partially hide cooking that would remain on the counter. Despite reminding the measuring/templating personnel of this, and providing architectural diagrams, the granite was fabricated with a blunt cut at the stone columns, not allowing the counter top to extend into the coves - approximately 8"x!2" area. Then the install team installed them! Leaving an 8"x12" section of bare plywood. Again, when we complained, it was suggested that we cover the areas with other material (that would butt up against the granite and look terrible). Only after repeated complaints up the chain of command that this was not what we specified and ordered did we get new sections fabricated. Another issue involved the sink side counter top. It was installed with a 1/2" slope to the back, rather than level. This had several impacts, including countertop water polling to the rear and creating an unsightly gap between the pre0installed teak backsplash (part of the cabinet configuration) and the countertop that can not be covered by molding or trim it is so wide of a gap. When we complained about this and asked why with all this laser technology would you install a countertop this way and not just simply shim to level, we were told it was not their responsibility and Dominion Granite attempted to blame the craftsman carpenter in site, and the contractor who installed the cabinets - the former whom they met repeatedly and coordinated with on-site. When we withheld payment for this and repeatedly ask for it to be corrected, we received a letter from their attorney, rather than simply doing what they said they would do.

Third, the 8' x 6' Kitchen Island. This was a full bull nose around the perimeter which involved 1/2' bull nosing two pieces of granite, sticking them together to give the appearance of a 3" think piece of granite and a full boll nose perimeter. As you can expect, this was an expensive decision for us but we made the investment thinking it would be a signature piece for the house which we hope to convert to a wedding facility in our retirement. Once again, the fabrication was shoddy. The upper bull nose that was visible to the eye was done correctly. The matching bottom was done quickly, without regard to smoothness and consistency. When you stand near and/or lean on the island, you fingers naturally touch the bottom portion and it is very apparent that this is a situation where the top doesn't match the bottom.

We're not OCD perfectionist types. We're good people. We work hard. We tell the truth. We expect people to do what they say. We were/are VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH DOMINION GRANITE'S PERFORMANCE.  The marketing was slick, but shallow. The pricing was over market. The fabrication was poor. The install was poor. The service was poor and led to significant delays. And, the problem resolution by the management team was at best grudging, and at worse litigious.

DOMINION GRANITE IS THE ONLY VENDOR OUT OF 20+ WE USED IN OUR FULL GUT REMODEL THAT I RECOMMEND PROSPECTIVE BUYERS STEAR CLEAR OF. THEY DO NOT PERFORM AS THEIR IMAGE MIGHT SUGGEST.
