    I initially called Revere and would not get a call back.  Even went by their office.  Finally I gave up on them and called Woodfin.  They responded right away, scheduled someone to come out.  Salesman was very professional and informative.  Technician was very professional and also informative and helpful.   I would recommend Woodfin to everyone.

    On a Saturday my refrigerator stopped working completely. By late afternoon both freezer and refrigerator were over 70 degrees. Monday morning I called around and no one was available until Friday . When I called Little Appliance they said they could come out on Wednesday. They called Tuesday to tell me the time window they would arrive. Mark arrived within the time window.

    When he arrived he assessed the problem quickly. He told me what the problem was and fixed it quickly. He was there no longer than an hour. He called back several hours later to see if everything was running okay. I was very happy with the efficient process Mark took. He was polite, informative, left the area clean, and overall very nice. I would definitely call them again if I have any appliance issues.

    After first checking Angie's List and searching for an LG appliance repair service in my area and finding none, I contacted LG directly for a referral.  I was directed to ARC Service, which I contacted.  I spoke with Chris, who was very personable and professional on the telephone and seemed to understand the issue I was having.  He asserted that the initial service fee would offset any repair charges.   I thought the $80.00 service fee was reasonable and agreed to the service.  He arranged to send a technician out the next day (also Chris, but not the same one I spoke with).   The tech arrived timely and presented himself professionally.  However, when it came to examining my washing machine, all he could repeat was that this was the "worst" he'd ever seen.  He called his boss (who he indicated was the Chris I spoke with the day before) and spent several minutes on the telephone discussing the issue.   After about about 20 minutes, the tech notified me that he had re-assembled the washer, that he needed to collect the service fee and he was leaving.  I prompted him to provide me with a diagnosis for the machine and an estimate for the repair, to which he again asserted that it was the "worst he'd ever seen", that "most people would not repair it" because it was going to cost so much (but how much was not stated), that he did not carry the required parts in his van and  that "Chris was contacting LG", that "Chris would call me later today or tomorrow" with my repair options.   Against my better judgment, I wrote the check and sent the tech on his way with the understanding that Chris would contact me about repairing the unit.  Since the tech left my home, I have had no response from ARC and my telephone messages have gone unanswered.   In my experience, it seems ARC was interested in sending an inexperienced and incapable technician to my home for the purpose of collected the "service fee" and had no intention of repairing the unit.     I would recommend that consumers avoid this provider.

    Sears Home Service
    Sears Home Service is a dealership and they have a representative who is local. What I like about Sears is that they are professional, their promptness, they are here when they say they are going to be here. They are very friendly and customer oriented. What I don't like about them is that often times, they do not have the parts and they have to have a return service so the service takes longer than it should take.
