    Vince and his brother requested $400 (cash) for the work to buy supplies and never did the work and would not return the money. If you work with him do not pay anything until you get the work done!!!! Original request of for windows was $625; wakeboard, soffit and screens labor charges were not yet estimated.

    Miguel and William arrived on time and quickly got to work. Within a 1-1.5 hours, they were able to detect the source of my leak. After an initial fix they sealed up the leak source, but after further testing found one more area that caused the leak. By the end of the first day, they had resolved my leak issue, which helped relieve a ton of stress. William came back the following week for follow up work to clean up the water damage that the leak has caused. Throughout the process, Ted and Tammy have been in contact with me, making sure everything was going ok and keeping me posted on anything they had. I really valued this communication and prompt responsiveness to my calls and questions. Other companies I have used in the past were at times difficult to get in contact with, but it was completely different with Rent-A-Pro. I will definitely call them again for future needs.

    I hired Jay to repair and repaint a section of damaged drywall in the garage. His price point was very good, and he arrived on time. He completed the job in about two hours, and the new coat of paint looks good. He and his assistant cleaned up well and left no paint spots or debris on the floor of my garage, although there is a curious scratch in the drywall that I don't remember being there before.

    VA Premium Cabinets & Renovations

    Would never hire again or recommend. Hired to remodel master bath. Interviewed and received estimates from 5 companies, all in same price range. All gave estimates of 4-6 weeks, including VA Premuim - we figured 2 months. They started demo early June, work finally done early Dec. SIX MONTHS. In week two I expressed concern to owner Geoffrey Land that only 1 person was on the job every day. Was told that would change, especially after demo. Did not happen. I raised the concern many times, never changed. There was more than 1 worker here maybe 15 days out of 6 months.

    Part of reason for hiring VA Premium is for them manage the job so I don't have to. Never happened. Geoffrey came to our house once in 6 months after work started, had no idea on status unless I told him. First "foreman" was unqualified and unhelpful. He came to the house about once every 2 weeks, and told the only worker (a sub-contractor) to go faster. Never picked up a hammer. There was a problem with the shower design; the sub and I designed a fix. The foreman told him he had to build it the original way; I had to tell him no.

    There was no quality management from VA Premium; the quality management was ME meeting with the sub daily to go over work completed and identify items that needed attention. There is a long list of items that had to be done at least twice on this project below...these all had to be identified by me.

    This sums up VA Premium���s work. The second payment in our contract was tied to delivering the cabinets when ready for install. Geoffrey told me it was time to deliver the cabinets. I told him the floor wasn't even close to installed. He insisted, even after we told him we had no space to store them. I asked him if they had inspected the cabinets since we were buying them now. He said they were perfect quality. He delivered them and demanded payment. 3 weeks later they were finally ready to install them. But the cabinets were a disaster:

    • 1 was completely wrong size
    • 1 had cracks in the door we could see through
    • After install, one was unfinished on an exposed end. Geoffrey���s first fix ��� just stain the rough wood. Short cut, awful work. Fought for 2 weeks for him to make it right.

    Regarding the payments, the sub said multiple times he wanted us to pay Geoffrey so he would get paid. Very unprofessional.

    The bathroom and our garage were a complete disaster during the job. Tools, trash, materials all over the place, dust and dirt left everywhere, no organization. Very unprofessional.

    A list of items that had to be done twice. All identified by us, VA Premium did not manage quality. And many of these caused arguments with VA Premium to get them addressed.

    • Cabinet issues
    • Installed 7' piece of granite BROKEN, & 5 other pieces that were not right. Had to argue for weeks to get this fixed
    • Lights wired on wrong switches
    • Shower tile installed wrong
    • Shower drain plumbing wrong. VA Premium had to go through ceiling below to fix. I said don't start unless fully repaired for Thanksgiving, they started and it was not fully repaired
    • Wall and ceiling repair and paint redone multiple times
    • Toilet paper holder fell off - anchor installed wrong (I fixed)
    • Towel rack fell off - anchor wrong (I fixed)
    • Failed electrical inspection
    • Geoffrey argued most of these items with us; getting fixes was difficult. First fixes were often shortcuts. Stain on unfinished wood. Attempt to "fix" broken granite for 2 weeks while we argued it had to be replaced. These and the 6-month timing caused arguments with Geoffrey until he would finally agree. Once he even questioned our "christian values."

      5/2017 Update: Major shower drain plumbing issue, shower is unusable. Was not correctly installed (2nd time), leaking around edges of the drain has water built up in the cement under the shower tile and around the drain pipe. Attempted multiple emails, phone calls, and texts to Geoffrey���nothing. Not surprised.

    It didn't go since the estimator arrived 4 hours late and gave us a lousy estimate 4 days later. He wanted to charge a fee for the estimate which he waived after realizing he was playing with the wrong people!

    Amazing. Company should up when they said they would. Did awesome work without having to be monitored or issues of any kind. They cleaned up before leaving everyday. Charged a completely reasonable price when there was a complication from some dry rot that had occurred in the sub floor.
