Work is not complete. It will be a year this August. Contractor does not respond nor has any intentions of coming back. He just walked off the job... my roof still leaks(this is the 9th time). We are now headed to mediation with the BBB

He wanted to give me back my 7,000.00 dollars and sign over my last payment of over 8,000.00. This took place the 3rd week of June. It is now 7/17 and have not seen any workers or received any phone calls. They walked away from the job.. leaving me with a room that leaks and it's only 1/2 drywalled

    W.T. Anderson Corp
My experience with W.T. Anderson was one of the best I have ever had with a contractor. From the first contact I had with them, to the work crew, to the after completion interview every single person was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The work performed was of the highest quality, they cleaned up every day and most importantly to me they started my job the day they said they would and finished on time without any delay. I have to add that even my kids, one in college and one in high school, commented as to how hard the guys worked and how friendly they were. I would refer W.T. Anderson to anyone.

I will say this. Run for the hills. I would not recommend this contractor to a coworker,  friend, or family member. Don't do it. Unless you don't mind the stress, get everything in writing, and know what they(contractors) should be doing. In which case you can save some money. Otherwise you will regret it. Especially if  you are a women running the project. For 3-4 days at a time they did not show up to work on my project and when I called the owner and asked him why he told me I wasn't his only project, that he was doing me a favor taking my small project($34,000 project), and then hung up the phone in my face. I did tell him that I expected them to work on my project 5-6 days a week(40 hours a week for a 3 man team, they work weekends) so that I did not have to pay mortgage and rent for 3-4 months. He finished the project a month later than the verbally promised completion date. In the end I would never hire him again.

Premier Roofing & Siding Contractors, Inc
The process was effortless.  From the appointment for estimates and presentation of the product:  Angela was friendly, easy to talk to, answered all questions, very professional.  Estimated work to take 3-4 days based on amount of wood to be replaced and with 2 workers; however, when project day came, there were 3 workers who arrived early and on time and began setup and work immediately upon arrival and completed the job in one day.  They were very respectful of my presence and answered any questions I asked as well as addressed any concerns I had.  Couldn't find a thing to complain about.  The job was reasonably priced and the $500 coupon from their website was right on only paid $1660.  We have 20 year labor warranty, lifetime transferable mfg warranty which was provided upon completion of the job.  It is great to know that we should never have to worry about weathered wood and painting again.

Overall ok. Some spots missed, however we have a lot of paint leftover to do the touch ups. Probably could have used a second coat overall but the painter ran out of time. Could have used 2 painters and it might have gone quicker but we could afford another painter.

    Quality Built Exteriors
I originally bought the $59 Angie's List special deal because I thought I had a leak in a wall in my living room that was coming from a broken shingle on the outside. Mike came to my house and diagnosed the situation. He said the apparent "water damage" to the molding was not coming from a leak in the wall. I had a bookcase sitting over an air vent that, in the summer, serves an AC unit but, in the winter, serves a humidifier. He said the moist air was being blocked by the bookcase and forced to the wall.  The house is over 90 years old and, somewhere down the line, most likely had a layer of lead paint on the molding. He said lead paint would buckle when it got damp. Some other contractor might have told me the wall needed to be replaced but, Mike said, "All you need to do is, move the bookcase, scrape off the old paint and repaint it." He said, he would fix the broken shingle (because, even though it wasn't leaking yet, it really did need to be fixed) and he would also do the repairs to the gutter and siding (that had been damaged by Cox cable!) and he would also repair the storm window on the second floor, all for the $59 in the original deal. I was so impressed by that, I asked him about re-coating the roofs of both side porches. That should be done about every 5 years and it had been 8 years since it was last done. There were also 3 or 4 places on each roof that needed repairs. He said he would do it all for $600. I thought that was a reasonable price so, I signed up. I paid half before the job was done and half after. He does offer financing but, I prefer to pay cash. Larry, one of Mikes' employees, came out on the scheduled day last week, even though there was still snow on the roof.  He determined he couldn't do very much that day so, we rescheduled for today. He came out, right on time. He was so quiet, I hardly knew he was in the yard. By noon, he had half of the job done. He went to lunch and finished all of the work before 3:00. He cleaned up, never broke so much as a twig from my trees, and everything was spotless. I can see both porch roofs from second floor windows and they look better than they have in years. I was impressed that the work was done so quickly and so well. I have already recommended Quality Built Exteriors to a friend in Olde Towne who needs some work done on his slate roof.

We've had a lot of experience with them. We've had a couple of roofs replaced. We've had siding put on. We've had an addition framed out at the back of the house. The owner is very personable. He answers your questions. He's very conscientous. After they put the roof on and the rest of his people left, he was down on his hands and knees in the driveway making sure there weren't any nails for us to run over and get a flat tire. He's very much a perfectionist and asks if everything is the way you wanted it. His workmen were excellent. His prices were very reasonable. A couple of times, he showed up an hour later than scheduled but we didn't mind that. Most of the time he came when said he would come. He'd respond to phone calls. There were really no complaints about him at all. We're going to have him do more work. We've already talked about it and I have a price. Come spring, he'll be here.

He seems like a very responsive guy.  We haven't yet decided what to do which the property but so far we liked Mr. Hartmann.  He seems like a very nice, thorough and responsive guy.  We are in dispute with the city and that is why we haven't been able to move forward.  The quoting process was good and positive.  I don't have any complaints about them.  They came out when they said they would and they've been very responsive.  I liked the company and we will consider them very possibly if and when we finally get to go ahead.  We got another estimate which was significantly lower but we haven't gotten down to talk because we can't go ahead right now.

Part of my house was built in 1942 but an addition was built in 2007 which is where the steps and tile work was done. Let me start by saying my realtor is the one who set them up. Not only did the work take a month to be completed. They did not complete the work to my satisfaction. The drywall was fine but the tile work completed is awful. Not only did the cut up my hardwood floor around it, they refused to fix the wood they messed up and refused to fill in the gap where the tile meets the hardwood floor. I am not satisfied and will be handling the repairs myself for now on because I feel they took advantage of me because I am very young and it is my first home. There was some plumbing done that I did like but that was from a company they hired. The most upsetting part is I had another company I wanted to work with who was a class c contractor and was charging only 6700, with all new appliances.
