    Reliance Pest & Termite Inc
Cant say enough about the great service we had received for the closing on our home. We had some issues with the buyers termite inspection which would have delayed the closing on our home had it not been for Sheryl and Owner Wayne. They both went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of for us by making calls, sending out letters and keeping us well informed every step of the way. Cheryl was the greatest! Shes so knowledgeable about the business. She assured us that they were going to make this happen. Even the owner Wayne called us and let us know he was involved in making sure we would close on time. My wife and I have been with Reliance for 12 years at this home and will have them at our new home as well. You have treated us like family and we are grateful grateful for all you have done for us. A big thanks to Tim who has been treating our home for most of the time at this home and for Demetrious who has taken over for him. What a wonderful company! Mike & Susan

    Reliance Pest & Termite Inc
Reliance sent Demetrius who surveyed the structural issues (holes and rotted wood in soffits and roof) so I could have those repaired and closed up. He put down bait to eliminate the rats so the problem is solved. Very professional, very thorough. Still under contract for a year so if problem returns they will take care of it. Still using them!

    Fox Pest Control
Fox came in and explained everything they were doing and everything that needed to be done, and the timeframe it needed to be done in. We were told not to expect results overnight but gradually things would get better. The technician was very professional and made us all feel better about our issue by the time he was done.

    Priority Pest Services
Two very nice gentlemen came out to inspect the house. Was told they would get back to me with an estimate. Two weeks went by and no response. Called and was told person that the person that came out was on vacation and would call when he got back. Two more weeks have passed and still no call. All total it has been a nearly month since they first came out. Very disappointing.

    Accel Pest & Termite Control
The contractor came when he said they would and seemed very thorough. The ants disappeared right away but the pesky roaches came back quickly. I called a second time and they came back and sprayed again. I actually have seen 2 more roaches since the second spraying - they are extremely persistent. Everyone has been courteous and professional.

We had a rat in a vacant rental and Hometown Pest Control was able to capture and remove it. They are very friendly and professional. Excellent customer service. They kept me updated every step of the way and let us know when they were going out to the house and exactly what work was performed while there. They also have a great portal that sends you emails with the time the technician went out, who the technician was, what was done, amount due. It is really great.

    Accel Pest & Termite Control
So I had a service agreement with this company that I purchased in 2016 in which I provided a review at that time. However, I'm not satisfied with my most recent communication with them. So the service was for treatment of the interior and exterior of my home. I contacted them in June for interior service because I saw an ant in the bathroom and control of ants was one of the reasons I contacted them to begin with. So they treated for the exterior and interior to include the bathroom and ONE area of the kitchen that I requested treatment since the ants were coming through that area before but none that I had seen at that time during that treatment. I was not outside during the exterior treatment so I do not know where the treatment was applied. A few days after the service, on a Thursday, I started seeing multiple ants in my kitchen inside my cabinets and on the counter tops. When I contacted them again for service specifically in the kitchen area that was NOT treated before, I was told I could not get service again for another week because it was illegal to treat in the same area twice and the tech did perform services. When I informed the rep (Julie) that the tech did not treat in the other areas where the I thought the ants were coming from, I was basically told no that I could not have service again until a week later. She made it seem like I was lying about the problem! Why in the world would I call a pest control company that I'm paying for a service if I didn't have an issue with pests?? If I say that I'm having ants in my kitchen, then take care of your customer! Another rep called me back and said they would schedule me for Monday. Bottom line, I did not wait an entire week or the weekend. I called another company. They came out the same day, I paid them for the work, and signed an agreement with them. The tech from that company told me how the ants were getting inside-3 small holes outside my kitchen window in which he treated. No problems since! So again, if I say to Accel, that I'm seeing ants, it is YOUR job as the professional to identify the source of the pests and treat accordingly and not make it seem like I'm wasting time by calling you again for service. I would not recommend them based on that experience.

We live essentially on the water and we have a constant monthly thing with Orkin where they come by once a month. We have earwigs. If they didn't come by, that would be a major problem. We're just in a bug area. I think we've got a neighbor who probably attracts them too, not the person, but the condition of the house. So we use Orkin on a monthly basis; we have for 18 years. It fluctuates, if they send one person, it's probably a 'B', if they send another one, it's probably a 'B+' or  'C-' They seem to be sporadic. They always have an excuse if we have a problem and sometimes we do and sometimes we do right after they leave. So I really don't know specifically what the issue is. But, sometimes we are not satisfied. Three or four months we will be satisfied and then we will have maybe a month or maybe two where we're not and then we will get back to where we're satisfied. When we first started the price was in the high 20s or low 30s and it has gone up constantly in the last 18 years. It is much higher than that now.

They put a dehumidifier in and they put a plastic round cover stuff in and they treated all the woods for mole. Well the dehumidifier they put in when they put it in  the put in way underneath the house I have a slit basement so I have half a basement you can stand up in and see underneath the house the other house where the crawl space is where the air conditioning unit and dehumidifier is you kind of have to step up and get under the house, then they put the dehumidifier back behind the air conditioner where you cant get to it without crawling down to the crawl space and I thought when they put it in and he said oh as long as the power is on it will be working and if the power is not on you couldn't anything to it anyway you don't really have to get to it and so I bought that like an idiot and sometimes over the weather  I am sure we have had three power failure over the winter my whole house generator and it went back on I notice the dehumidifier wasn't working in the winter that we recently have had massive heat wave  that was tremendous heat and I went down into my basement again and I stuck my head under the house and I couldn't hear humidifier running but I couldn't tell was are not cause wasn't crawl under the house I couldn't even if I wanted to

    United Pest Control Co Inc
It was absolutely horrible. I'm in the middle of a mess right now that is slightly related to that. I would not recommend that anyone go anywhere near those people. And they want my money. My kitchen is covered in flies.
For starters, if I had the ad in front of me I would read it but just what was being sold there was they would come out to the house and they would do a thorough inspection, find out where the pests were coming in. In this case it's Norway rats. They did not do that. All he did was listen to what I had to say and say oh yeah, you have a terrible infestation. The guy didn't even get down on his knees and look in the crawlspace or crawl under there. He probably couldn't get down on his knees considering he's got a prosthetic leg. It was decided he was going to fog under the house. In order to have his guys go under and take out the old vapor barrier and put in a new one he had to kill all the disease from the rats. So, that's what the fogging was for. It's an anti-viral, anti-this, anti-that that's going to kill all the disease that's under there. So, they did that. I think it was about a week later they came and took the vapor barrier out and put in the new one. I had to call them to come back because they didn't do a good job putting the new vapor barrier in. There was a big space that was left just dirt, there was no plastic over it. It's just been one thing after another. He gave me this long story about how this poison that they put under there they refer to as bait. It's poison. Little packets of poison. He told me I should stop using what I was using because it would prevent the rat from smelling bad when they died if they happened to die under the house. Well, I'm sorry but I don't think there's anything around that's going to keep a carcass from smelling bad as it rots. But, I thought, well, I don't know, I haven't done a lot of reading in that area, maybe they do have something. No, they don't. When they pulled the vapor barrier out they told me they pulled 15 carcasses out from under there. 15 of them. And one was this big. You know the fish story? How I caught one this big? That's kind of what this reminded me of. He had probably 8 inches in diameter was what he was showing me. I thought, good Lord, that thing could have eaten me. As I thought about it, at first I was like, Oh my Lord, 15, but I never thought, wait a minute, if there were 15 carcasses under my house, how come I didn't smell them? I mean at the time that each one died? I'm sure he wasn't trying to make me believe they all died at the same time. I would have smelled them for starters and now the last one that died died in a wall so we couldn't get at it. They came back once and found one under the vapor barrier and then another time something died and I could smell it and one of the first things is that I smell it and then we start getting flies in the house. I think the flies that I have now are because of the one that died in the wall and they're all just coming and eating at the carcass and then they are coming in the house, which is not a real healthy thing in the kitchen, so I have to sanitize the kitchen again. This guy is talking about spraying pheromones that won't get rid of the rats but will deter the rats from coming in. The whole thing is just a snow job from the get go. We finally got to the point where we parted ways. My husband is thinking about what we are going to do because they did not do the job and did not even do the things that were on the Angie's List.
If they did the job right, I would say they were still a little high but considering they didn't do the job right.
