I had a leak in my roof and requested an estimate. One of the technicians came out and surveyed the issue and saved me a great deal of money. Turns out my AC unit was leaking condensation in my attic and cause water stains on my hallway ceiling. The estimate was free! Thank you.

I recently had some backyard work done by these awesome guys! My backyard is inaccessible regularly when it came to getting the grass cut. The grass came up waist high. So I was unable to really enjoy my yard. I search for so me quotes and these guys gave the best bang for my buck. They were very professional and friendly. If I am looking to get more work done I will most definitely call these gentlemen! I highly recommend to anyone needing working or upgrades done on their homes!

Geoff and his network of highly skilled, certified specialists were amazing to work with. Geoff is not just a contractor, he is a designer with a vision who helped us make the right decisions for our home, while keeping with our own style. If he were an HGTV personality, it would be Holmes. He makes sure everything is done correctly the first time, with high-quality materials that will last forever, and my favorite part, he explained the how and why throughout the process. He is knowledgeable, honest, timely and just so good at what he does. His work is clearly a passion, and it shows in every detail. With only a copper sink as inspiration, he changed my 1990's kitchen into a timeless work of art that is as beautiful and interesting as it is functional. He reconfigured a large piece of my house to accommodate a laundry room and and turned a half bath with minimal space into a modern full bath, without making it feel small. I can't say enough great things about working with him. And, while it may not matter to some, it mattered to me - Geoff is a nice, personable guy who I liked having in my home, as was every specialist he chooses to work with. He was respectful of our space, and cleaned up the work space at the end of every day. He was open to adding to his already significant workload with projects that popped up as we were moving in and figuring out how we wanted the house to look. It got to the point that I ran every idea by him and he never once made me feel like I was a bother because he cared and had a vision. About halfway through the initial kitchen/bath/laundry project, we decided to redo the all brick fireplace hearth. Geoff knew exactly what would look perfect, and was able to give us a stone fireplace, with granite mantle without significantly pushing back the timeline. It looks perfect, and he even took into account my dog when choosing the threshold material around the base (because the dog's nails would scratch up a wood piece). Just little things like that, the caring, the attention to detail, the situational awareness that Geoff has makes him the correct choice. He also identified other issues in my home (older home) that could eventually cause issues and offered solutions. Not trying to sell us anything, but just helping us be better home owners and letting us know what to look out for. I am so glad our paths crossed, I can't imagine working with anyone else, and I am so excited work with him on the next project.!

    Thank Kevin Handyman Services, Inc.
Outstanding. Kevin is the most professional general contractor that I have worked with in the last 15 years. He had done some other remodeling in the past but recently completed the jobs listed. His craftsmanship is meticulous and he is very detail oriented. We really appreciate how much care he took to ensure that everything was right. He actually takes great pride in his work which seems rare these days. He was always punctual and always cleaned up completely. Price was also better than most other estimates. Having had non-optimal experiences with other contractors, I enthusiastically give Kevin my highest recommendation.

A very smooth and professional process from start to finish. Gerald Massengil was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous during the initial planning and estimate process. For installation, Richard Plourde and his crew were professional, friendly, and did a fantastic job over the two days they were on my property. Great work and a business I would go to again.

With the positive reviews, we hoped to receive an estimate for an upcoming bathroom remodeling project. Unfortunately, we never made it to even talking about the project as Geoff was unwilling to wear a mask - even when offered one - in our home which includes several high-risk individuals for illness.

The install went great. I wasn't about to be home during the install, when I got home I noticed the cover for our rough in for a ceiling fan was on the table and there was no cut out for the wires. I called and they came out the next day to fix the problem. Now a few months later I went to install a fan and they only cut a 1 inch by 1 inch square and a support beam was placed right over the electrical box. I've called 5 days ago and no word as to when someone will be out. I also had paid to have plywood installed and there doesn't appear to be any plywood used.

    DK Paragon Custom Builders
Multiple delays caused by CoVid-19 were not the issue that has prompted me to write a review of this company. We began the job in January and it took almost seven months to complete one room. We initially hired DK because we were impressed with Tom Kershl from some work he had performed for us 12 years ago, before he started the current business. Once the project began, Tom said he was too tied up with other projects so we were assigned Rodney, the other owner/operator. Demolition was swift and everything started off well... Then, there was a delay of approx. 8 weeks because the city permits were temporarily shut down due to Covid. Totally understandable... Once the permit was obtained, work resumed. However, we began to experience multiple schedule changes and delays, and typically, only one person would arrive. By the time drywall was scheduled, it was early May. Sometimes we would only see them 2 days a week, and we rarely ever received communication from Rodney- we had to initiate followups with him regularly because otherwise, we would not hear anything. We felt "deprioritized" throughout the entire ordeal, often told that they could not make it that day because of other "bigger" jobs. We started to notice the work performed was substandard. For example, we were quoted a Mitsubishi Mini-Split and instead they installed a Yamaha (which was less than half the price and received terrible reviews online) but since the project was taking so long and my kid was sleeping on the dining room floor, I did not make them reinstall. Then, when it came time to paint, the trim was done with eggshell instead of high-gloss (like the rest of the house) and we had to completely repaint the trim ourselves. Again, I did not raise this issue with them because the poor guy they sent (the ONLY guy), had spent hours upon hours by himself upstairs working hard for months, and by this point it was mid-June. Meanwhile, Rodney was not communicating with us and our front porch had become a storage place for OTHER projects in the neighborhood. The dumpster had been completely full past the brim for months and debris was flying everywhere in my yard. The port-a-potty had flipped over in the wind and went weeks without being changed. We were, to put it mildly, over it! The flooring was the final element and Walt did a pretty solid job installing it, however it was scratched up like crazy. To fix the scratches, someone came over and polished it with Olde English, leaving smudges all over the trim and lower walls. The small attic door, which had previously been on convenient hinges for 40 years, was refitted with a cheap "click-on" fitting that could not bear the weight of the door and is almost impossible to open and shut now. Again, since it had been 6 months by this point and we were sick of having to park down the street and our son was still sleeping on the floor and our front porch was full of other people's construction materials and our dumpster was full to the brim and the port-o-potty in our front yard stank to high ****, we decided to keep it instead of bothering them with another modification. I don't know, perhaps it is passive-aggressive of me to write a review like this after the fact, but to summarize, we felt completely deprioritized through the entire 7 months that it took to complete one room, and we really felt let down. I wanted Tom and I got Rodney instead. Every small thing on my checklist took days or weeks to fix with little to no communication. On a positive note, their price was reasonable and Tom did a great job on our neighbor's kitchen a few months ago. The employee they sent regularly (almost always alone), Walt, was very nice and we really appreciated his hard work. I just wish, if we could do it again, we had Tom in charge of the job.
