    Price Electrical Inc
Outstanding service, was easy to book an appointment. Technician arrived on time, clearly explained the best way to install the heater, and with care completed the job. Only issue I had was that the Angies list contact information was dated which gave me trouble contacting the business.

    Loehr Lightning Protection Co
I cannot commend enough the work performed by JJ Loehr and his crew at my residence. Loehr Lightning Protection Co installed a surge suppression system during new construction in 2012. Having experienced several surge-related failures in the interim, I contacted them. Not only was the problem identified quickly, it was also fixed in a timely manner. Turns out that floating grounds were created during subsequent modifications to the house. Loehr was not responsible for the problems, but the repairs were still done under warranty. I was not expecting there to be no charge ! Bottom line; a quality service which places high value on customer satisfaction. Very refreshing in this day and age well done !

    Price Electrical Inc
I called Price in the mid morning and they were able to have someone at my house by late afternoon. After I explained the problems to the technician he quickly diagnosed what had caused the problem and why. He developed an improved wiring configuration to eliminate the problem. The explanation of what happened was excellent and he also gave me tips on how to do routine maintenance on receptacles.

    Price Electrical Inc
They are good on price. Usually, they send one person, but if there is a lot of work to do, they send three people. The workers are very friendly and they leave the work area clean. I have used them for the last five or six years.

    Bush's Electric Company
Mr. Bush and his assistant were very thorough in diagnosing the problem. His estimated price to fix it was very fair. I had them do the work. They rewired the living and room brought it up to code. And I am so pleased with the results. They were very professional. And when finished, they cleaned up every speck of dust and depris. It is so nice to now have an electrician I can count on. Thank you Angies List!

We called Price. They arrived the next day. They tightened some wires on the panel box (not sure why the other guy didn't see these) and there is no more flickering. Tenant happy and owner happy! We'll definitely call them for all of our electrical needs from here out.

    Total Home Improvements
After having a good experience with THI on my exterior work five years ago, I've always gone back to them to have other projects done. My experience with this company has been very positive.

The employees of THI are very courteous and professional.  They come on time and with a positive attitude.  The project managers that I worked with (I had the same person for two of my jobs and a different person for this latest huge remodel) were very knowledgeable of every aspect of the job.  They both did a good job scheduling all of the trades workers and keeping everything moving forward.  They both communicated very well with me and I always knew exactly who was coming, what they were coming to do, and when they would be there.  Did everything go exactly on schedule - well no.  I added several changes to the job, including gutting and redoing another bathroom at the last minute.  So we had to adjust time frames and expectations.  When we had a delay in the cabinet installation, due to my decision to rip out old plaster and replace with new drywall, Greg, the project manager worked swiftly and deliberately to catch us back up so we could finish as projected.

THI uses good sub contractors.  The floor, tile, electrical, and plumbing guys rocked.  They use small companies so there isn't a crew coming into your home.  The tile installer works alone.  The electrical company has two employees so the same two come every time and get to know your home electrical system well.  Same with the plumbers and floor installers.  I like that about THI.  Sure it isn't as fast sometimes as if a crew is sent in, but these trades people were truly professional, treating my house like their own.  I believe they did a better job than a bigger company would, and had more pride in their work.  To be honest, the owner of the dry wall company they used for my job was a bit rude, but Total Home Improvements quickly remedied that issue once I let them know.  All of the other sub-contractors were so very nice and professional and respectful.  I feel very fortunate to have met these fine craftsmen.

My experience with the sales representatives has also been very positive.  I used the same sales rep for two of my projects and he partnered with another sales rep on the major interior renovation they just finished.  They worked with me on the design and we made adjustments along the way.

I do not have any experience with the painters, however.  i have a painter that I have used for years (also works alone) so I opted to have him do the painting for my job.

Anyway, I am happy with all the choices I made throughout this renovation and with the work that Total Home Improvements did themselves or had done to make this reno happen.  It was complicated, removing walls and installing engineered beams, etc.  I worked at home throughout the whole reno, so I basically set up in one room.   My advice to anyone considering a renovation is to be very clear in what you want to have done and be very specific in your contract and understand the allowances, etc. in your contract and make adjustments if you need to. I marked mine up on a word document so I could be absolutely sure we were on the same page.  It took several revisions before we finalized the contract.   Also be realistic with your expectations and understand that there will be puts and takes along the way.  Material gets delayed; you make a change and things have to be redone.  Be patient and keep in constant contact with your project manager.  Understand that these people are human too.  The project manager may have a dozen jobs at any given time.

My tape measure broke the other day so I guess their work is done!  But if I have any other home improvements I have Total Home Improvements on my speed dial.  Seriously, it got frustrating at times - it was a 6 month major renovation after all.  But any frustration on my part was situational and the project manager was experiencing the same frustration.  Together we worked through any issues or decisions as they arose.

After the job was complete i'd say it was done pretty close to perfectly.  I have an old house and there's only so much you can do with an old house.  In my opinion Total Home Improvements did as much as could be done to maximize the footprint of my house, updating it from its 1970's look while maintaining the character of the home.

Thanks for reading my review.  I wish you luck in your home projects.

    Price Electrical Inc

Excellent.  I called later in the morning and they were able to come by in the afternoon.  They were very thorough and explained potential options.  In the end, no repairs were needed and they did not charge me (although they should have).

Furthermore, I have used Price Electric in the past.  The first was during our Kitchen remodel and then in another job, they installed two new service panels.  I really like the quality of their work, integrity and professionalism. I will call them again should I have any other electrical issues or projects.  I highly recommend them!

    Total Home Improvements
The overall experience of this remodel effort exceeded our expectations from the professionalism, to the attention to detail, to the high quality finished product. Our sales associate took great pains to find out what our intentions were for a remodel before he wrote up a contract. He wasn't hesitant to point out types of things that might or might not work. Our one learning point was that before signing the contract, make sure both parties are absolutely sure what is and what is not included in the contract. But those differences were minor in the grand scheme of things. We were given generous allowances for tile, granite, and plumbing fixtures. Our sales associate made multiple trips with us to the suppliers to assist us with our selections. The best part of the experience was our project supervisor. He always showed up when he said he would be there and made sure that he was in constant contact with the sub contractors. He insisted on a clean work place. If there was any part of the job that we were unhappy with at the end of a day, he was on it to get it right early the next morning even if it meant bringing the sub contractor with him. He was always in close communication with us checking to see if the job was meeting our expectations. He gave us the heads up if we were coming to the date where we had to make a selection of a tile or mirror or shower doors or accessories. When we gave him a punch list, he started working on it that day and didn't stop until we were satisfied with the finished product. The bottom line is, we ended up with a total bathroom remodel and partial kitchen remodel that exceeded our expectations. The quality of work was outstanding and the finished job was beautiful. We went with Total Home Improvements because 2 of our neighbors had recommended them. In the end, the job came in within our budget and we are a very happy customer. I would highly recommend their services for anyone needing a high quality home improvement job.

    Gault Electric LLC
Excellent. The entire Gault Team was very professional.
Quality work. Arrived on schedule; worked long cold days to complete. Contacted
daily for updates on scheduled times and work to be completed that day.
Addressed almost every known contingency in planning and adjusted to unknowns
during every aspect of the job and a few minor changes from me. Recommended alternative
options. Very honest in appraisal of conditions and recommendations. Would
    definitely recommend to others.
