    HUTCHEN'S CHEVROLET
I've been using them for fifteen plus years.  I buy all my cars through them.  They do all my work, oil changes, coolant changes.  Whatever is wrong with it they do.  I go to them for everything I need for a car.  They are the oldest Chevrolet dealer in the country.

It is a good business. I have two cars and the cost of service for one was $300 and for the other one was $125. They are good on price. They are a lot cheaper than a dealer. I turned it in on one day and got it back the next day. They are all good mechanics. They all have the ASE certification. I have been going there for at least 10 or 15 years.

This place saw a young customer coming in and though that he could "make up"  a list of repairs that was not needed just to get more business. Some of the repairs listed are not even on the State Inspection list of things to be inspected. While I have used them in the past for repairs and they seemed fair at that time, I would stay away for State Inspection...

The staff are very good.  We have never had a problem with them in the 20 years that we have been going there.  I would tell a friend that they do great work.  They are reasonably priced.

This business failed my truck for state inspection. The reason was "wore out front brake pads", after replacing the brakes the old brakes sill had more than half of the original pad left on them and by no way need to be replaced.
Another classic case of a shop trying to gain from needed service.

We have had work done many times over on our different vehicles over the years-- they are usually very busy which is the only reason they got a b for responsiveness. They are honest about cost and what can wait or what should be done right away... Their prices have always been very reasonable...

    Charles Barker Toyota
I purchased my vehicle at Charles Barkley due to reviews I had read on line...   I had one after another horrible experience with a toyota dealership closer to my house but love Toyota...  When I found myself in need of a prius due to miles I was driving in commute and its impeccable reputation-- I had to find a dealership that would not ruin the car for me....
I had great experience working with Curbie who was very professional, honest,  and courteous during the whole process of purchasing the car.  I do not by a toaster without it researching all possible options so I knew everything I needed to know when I walked through the door; however, when doing business I tend to test the people I am doing business with to make sure that I am getting good, honest, and fair treatment.  Curbie was very knowledgable about the car and its' options-- he was honest in his responses and in the items that had pros and cons-- he outlined both.  He did not try to sell the car-- he helped me by giving information to decide based on my needs versus his commission.   It was a pleasure working with him and when we are ready to get a new car I would certainly go to him for his assistance...
On the warranty side for my paint-- I have put over 35k on my prius since date of purchase in December of 2011-- as a result I have a bunch of pings in my paint from bugs..  When I put in the claim through Joanna Maseli who went so far above and beyond to help me that she even worked from home to assure I was taken care of on a day she was extremely ill...  She had the dedication to make sure that my vehicle was handled properly and I was kept informed on its' progress...
I have been able to schedule all of my vehicle maintenance on line!!!  They simply email specific time-- it does take a little time for maintenance because they are thorough in making sure it is done right...  There aren't any surprises and they don't try to sell unneeded repairs.  I have dealt in the past with Lydia and Steve who have always been friendly and prompt...  Very professional....  Also most recently I brought my car in too soon for a service on the car and Darrick was very kind and let me know that it was not covered yet-- but because I was going on a long trip and was concerned about making sure everything was where it should be to have a safe trip-- he offered to thoroughly check the vehicle as a courtesy check-- He even ran it through the wash and they topped off my windshield wiper fluid!!!
Though I can't name every person I have come in contact with at the dealership-- everyone has been extremely professional and
a pleasure to deal with!   The dealership is truly an exception to the rules customer service has seemed to denigrate to these days!!!
    Awesome Work!!!

    Poquoson Auto Repair
My daughters car had a problem with her drive belts so we brought her car in. They quickly tightened the belts. However a couple days later the belts were loose again. They told us the belt would need to be replaced. They only charged us for the cost of the belt and no additional labor. Additionally they did not try to diagnose other problems with the car in an effort to strum up more business. Their prices were acceptable and we even took our sons car in for service and received the same quality service.

He completed the work and my truck is running like it did when purchased 11 years ago. Despite being busy, he took the time to explain (with drawings) what the problem was. Of course I told him he was my new mechanic.

After the inspection and oil change, the rep came to me to recommend replacement of the serpentine belt which was in bad shape. Old truck and belt never replaced before so I agreed it was due and glad they brought it to my attention. Not to sure about the power steering flush as many people don't worry about that. Since it had never been done on this 1997 Dakota, I also agreed it was probably a good idea. Although the truck had 60K and due a tuneup, it was running fine, they didn't give me a sales pitch to do that but suggested it should be done within the year or 5K or so. IE, no sales push on anything except strong recommendation on the serpentine which was breaking down pretty badly.

Like all auto shops their hourly rates are way to high in my opinion which make simple jobs like replacing a light bulb cost $18 labor and labor on power steering flush ran $62.

Bonus wash and vacuum the cab. Clean facilities and comfortable waiting lounge and senior discount. Also never had a problem with any of their past work. I would recommend Tysinger to my friends.
