FANTASTIC!! Abbie was very kind and understanding, even when I requested changes 3 times. Josua was very professional, prompt, and friendly. Did a lot to make Everything clean for over 3 hours. I'm looking forward to working with them again.

    Image Fencing, Inc
After reading both positive and negative reviews about Image Fencing, most negative being in regards to responsiveness, I decided to give them a call. I spoke to Harry on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 to schedule an estimate to be done for a wood fence replacement or repair. He was professional during the call and offered some suggestions. He stated that he had to make some other phone calls, but he would text me with a date and time to see if that time worked for me to schedule an estimate. I never heard back from Harry so I called him twice on Friday, July 20, 2018 with no answer. I understand he may not accept business from everyone for whatever reason and thats his prerogative to do so, but he needs to communicate this with the customer to eliminate time wasted.

It went very good.  They are very professional.  I was really impressed by how well the job they did.  I had a walk way made out of wood, treated wood, after they were finished with it, looked brand new.  I mean before it looked green and looked like it needed to be replaced.  There were some extra charges, because of the shed, the cost didn't include the shed and the deck.  I think it was an additional $25.  They were late, they had trouble with a machine.  They called me up though so not sure how to rate that.  They called me, well actually to tell you the truth, the first time I called them they never showed up.  That was probably the only thing that got me.  Not sure I'd use them again, maybe, I'd probably price around again.  It was a little expensive, a little bit on the pricey side.  The $225 kind of lures you in and then add more for this and that, so it's not exactly.  They did a good job so, I've had other people before and they didn't do a good job.  They had the right, I think the big expense was they had the right machinery there.  They had this big huge machine on the back of their truck, where most people just come in with a pressure washer and just pressure wash your house.  They put some chemical on, kind of like bleach or something then they just sprayed it right off.  I'd say I probably will use them again.  I'm going to look around a little bit more this time.  Everything kind of evens out.  I think maybe give a more realistic, like with Angie's List, they have that blanket $225 or whatever and it's not $225.  It's kind of deceiving, because it's not really $225.  You have to pay more for other stuff.  I guess it did say the additional structure would cost more.  So I guess it is fair, you are just going to pay more.  They are just expensive that's all.

    1. Siding sections are displaying large gaps that are concerning due to high winds in this area. I am unsure it will last a year. 2. The front top edge has a serious ripple effect 3. The outlet covers (20 years old and a different color) were just placed back on. 4. My chimney OSB was left exposed, unnecessarily, to the rain when workers left 6 hours prior to arrival of rain 5. The electric shut off for the air conditioner was not reattached or caulked. 6. The exterior doors were changed and attached to broken wood and large hardware holes left exposed 7. There was a serious disagreement on what comprises a ?ceiling? that is clear based on definition of a ceiling. The salesman stated (soldiers) they would be done. This is delaying my outdoor shade installation. 8. Caulking of porch posts and gutters was incomplete or poorly done 9. Clean up by siding and gutter workers was slip shod 10. Pet screen on exterior doors was not requested 11. Shutters and door have color mismatch 12. Despite two inspectors reviewing items I have been unable to get a response to complaints.

Neil showed up on time for both estimate and service days. He did outstanding work and matched my existing mortar perfectly. I only gave him a B on price because I am cheap and hate spending money on stuff like this. His price was actually very reasonable for the amount of work he did.

Arrived on time and began work promptly.  Work proceeded well.   Younger team members did much of the heavy lifting while more experienced team worked the power wash and trim work.
Tremendous overall improvement.  My 88 year old mother was very happy with the improvement.
The B on quality is due to the team arriving without the equipment to properly do some of the trimming work.  A chain saw would have made things go more smoothly and provide fewer rough edges.  Site had been viewed in advance so needs were known.  The owner was also not feeling well that day so I think that had some impact.
I would definitely use them again though.  The price value ratio was very good.   Saved me some very hard work!

The provider was on time and arrived on the day they said they would come.  We have a very large back yard so it took them about a week to finish the job.  We live on a corner so we asked them to put the vinyl fence up before they took the wood fence down.  We have a sunroom in the back of the house and did not want the traffic that comes through to be able to see in that room at night.  We were told they had to take the wood fence down since it was going to fall in the direction of the new vinyl fence.  This turned out to be okay since the workers got the wood fence up on that side the same day.

We had to have several trees cut down before they put the fence in.  The person that cut the trees down was supposed to grind the tree stumps but did not go down far enough.  This made the fence uneven on that side because of the tree stumps not being fully removed properly.  I asked the fence installers to remove part of the fence to allow the tree stump remover to come back and remove the stump so that fence would be even.  They did remove one part of the fence.  They did tell me they did not want to remove the fence post.  I told them I would be willing to pay for new fence post if I had to.  Fortunately the stump remover was able to remove the stump without having to move the fence post they put in.

I asked for a 12 x 12 gate that we later found out had to be custom made.  Bob, the salesman let me know that he did not expect the gate to be custom made, but he made good on the contract.

Once the fence was done we realized that we needed an extra bar for the other gate to hold it in place when we drive through.  We had a bar that held one side but there was not a bar on the other side.  I called Bob and requested a bar be placed on the other gate.  Bob came to look it over and agreed to order a bar.  To my surprise the order came in within a week.  The owner Shane and another gentlemen came to put the bar in.  Shane also bought with him two heavy duty  bars to go across the gate to add stability since the gate was so large.

I am pleased with the work and am pleased with the response to the requests that I made.  If I had anything to be concerned about was the attitude of the crew that put the fence up.  It seems that the lead installer had a no so friendly attitude.  At one point I was going to kick him out of my yard but thought better of it.  My husband came home and talked to him and it seemed to get better.  I believe the owners are accustomed to his attitude and responded with that is just the way he is.  Just over look him.  I just did not think he had a very professional attitude and should be trained on customer service and satisfaction.  It was a rocky beginning but it got better and he did do a great job.

Everything went well. * hrs was running out and painter could only put two coats of paint on fireplace.  A little brick bleed through and painter instructed me how to put the last coat on and I did.  Looks great.

Where do I begin?  Let's start by stating ""when you hire a so-called "Professional", you should expect a professional job"".   Now, I'm not a perfectionest, don't think I have OCD, and with 21+ years working for the Gov. the phrase "close enough for government work" (meaning not perfect but good enough) is OK with me.  Also, afterwriting  numerous trip reports, I got into the habit of keeping detail notes when I hire someone to do a job (comes in handy for times like this).  Also, the pictures I took were made on the afternoon of June 17th after the workers were done and everyone had left.
This started in April '14, when I requested a quote for a "Roofing" job.  J.B. Sipe gave me a proposal and then he talked about replacing my sidewalk.  He told me he could give me a deal on stamped, colored concrete for $1200 if he did the roof or $1500 without the roof.  I thought about the offer and we negotiated a price to $1400 for the job.  I signed the contract on May 28 '14,  to bust up and take away the old sidewalk and replace with at least 4 inches of concrete, stamped with a pattern I choose from their webpage, and up to two colors from their color chart. The wife chose a creamy beige with charcol streaks that was like the example on their website ( pic 1).    Around the 5th of June, his foreman came by and we matched the color from our downspout (pic 2) to his color chart .  Up to this time verything was going fine but, scheduling became a problem.  We finally agreed to Monday, June 16 at 9:00 AM, to do the job.  I was told it would take 1 day to bust up, haul away, lay new sidewalk, stamp and seal, cure overnight, and pressure wash the next day.  No problem - let's do it.
Now the problems.  The 16th, Monday morning, I waited until 9:30am and called Mr. Sipes and left message asking "Where are the workers?".  I called again at 10:am and left another message saying his lack of communication leads me to assume that if he doesn't want the $1400 sidewalk job he doesn't get the $10,000 roof job.  He called back at 10:10 and said the workers were on the way and that he had to pull them from another job..  About 11:30am, Alberto (the forman) and onother worker showed up.  They parked a big dumpster in the driveway, dropped off 2 five gallon buckets , talked together (in spanish) about the job, said the cement truck was set to arrive at 4:30pm, they would be back soon, and left.
At 1:33pm, some workers (3-4) showed up and started busting up the sidewalk with a sledge hammer and loading the chuncks on the dumpster.
At apx. 7:00pm, the cement truck arrived and they started mixing and spreading the cement.  They asked me, before they started, where they could wash off their equipment when they finished.  I should them a back faucet. They were already using the front-middle faucet but they didn't want to get cement on the grass (nice of them).
At apx. 8:30pm, they started cleaning up, said they would be back in the morning to pressure wash ( told me not to walk on the sidewalk),  they took away the dumbster and left  (they didn't put any tape or barrier around the sidewalk).  My wife mentioned the sidewalk looked darker than we agreed, but it was night and I said we should wait until they finished.  They left around 9pm
At apx. 8:00am, the 17th, we heard a loud noise outside.  They wre measuring the width and using a circular saw to trim the edges of the walkway.  They started spray wahsing until apx. 8:45am when the city water was cut off to change the neighborhood water meters for about an hour.
At 11:30am, I noticed they had finished and everyone was gone and I saw the sidewalk was too dark (pic 3).  I called Mr. Sipes and was told he and Alberto couldn't cpme by until 6pm.
At 6:03pm. only Alberto came by (he didn't know whereabouts of Mr Sipes).  I showed him what they had left and what they had done.  He appologized and helped me try to wand wash the greyish powder (pic 4) on my asphalt driveway (doesn't show when wet but comes back when it's dry).  He cleaned up some of the items they left in the grass, took the 2 five gallon buckets they left behind, said he would help me pressure wash the driveway if I wanted, and left.
On Thursday morning, I left messages with Mr. Sipes and after no response, I called Angie's List customer servise.  I told them of my concerns (Commonwealth Renovations advertizes there).  They looked and found a 10% off concrete jobs coupon I was not aware of and said sould be good for this job  (sort of hidden - you have to click on see all deals and read the fine print on the coupon).  When Mr. Sipes finally called, he said he was comming to pick up the check for thecompleted job.  I informed him of the coupon and how I had re-written the check for $1260.   When he said he had already given me a discount,  I told him our negotiations had nothing to do with the Angie's List coupon and then he called me a "Piece of work"  (I guess that's an insult in his circle).  When Mr. Sipes came for the check he told me "I had picked that color, that I would have problems with anybody, and he didn't want to do my roof".  I gave him the contract, coupon, and the check and told him to "have a nice day somewhere else", walked into my garage and closed the door to cool down.
To finally sum up.   I have been trying to write this review off and on since Saturday the 21st  (I would get angry and stop).  Since then, the wife and I, have pressure washed the driveway and sidewalk.  We also had to dig out the gravel, put the pavers back, and  buy 5 bags ot topsoil the fill in the gaps between the grass and walkway.  I will still need to re-seal the driveway earlier than I planed (did last fall - due next spring).  As a final note, after pressure washing the sidewalk, it's a tiny bit brighter but, no way near what we ask for.  My wife tells me to "let it go - it's not worth the agrevation".  I agree - life's too short.
As to Commonwealth Renovations and Mr. J.B.Sipes;  I'm sure they will have their own different version  (but, I have a great security system and VIDEO).  All I will say to them is " Peace be with you but, DON'T come near my house -  EVER".

He provided a prompt email, as requested with his estimate for the work I needed done. His rate did not include materials, so we did not use him.  He was prompt when we set up the appointment to review the project and was very nice, professional and did not waste my time and I hope I didn't waste his. I still may hire him for a job in the future.
