    PEP BOYS
I've been using Pep Boys for years but they basically give me a tune-up or I get tires. I get number one service from them. I've been using them for so many years. I've been dealing with them for so many years they know me. The price is not bad. I like to stick with them because they're right at my home and I know the guy, he's been there for such a long time. ?? On punctuality they're pretty good. I would use them again. I've been doing it for years.

I only got charged $50 because that was my deductible. The quality of work was poor. They need better quality control.  They left bolts off.  You can actually hear wind noise thru my windshield now.  I don't think it's put in right.

    WHITE AUTOMOTIVE INC
I'd give them an A in everything. They were very knowledgeable and they steered me in the right direction with some issues with the car. They have friendly service and addressed some issues that needed to be taken care of and how to take care of it.

    Advantage Toyota Scion
On Saturday my wife and I drove 380 miles from Virginia to arrive for our VIP appointment.  Our intent was to buy (obviously).  When we arrived a salesperson checked on the vehicle and informed us that the vehicle was sold last evening. We were furious. My wife and I drove back to Virginia and after 760 miles, $78 in tolls, and over $60 in fuel we arrived home with nothing.
I sent an e-mail to the general manager and as of 4 days never heard a response.  I'm guessing that the dealership was hoping we would show up knowing that the vehicle was already being purchased with the intent of talking us into something else we didn't want.
Obviously we would not recommend this dealership and want to warn others what you might be getting into if you are considering this place. The lack of an explanation or an apology from the GM speaks volumes about their concern

    RONNIE'S AUTOMOTIVE
Well, I'm glad you asked!  They don't serve designer coffees and doughnuts and hide the cost in your bill, like some other shops I've heard of.  They do let you buy and bring your own parts, without charging a higher rate per hour for your repairs. They also bill for the actual time of the repairs, not what the estimated time should be based on some unknown manual.  Pat, the front desk person is professional, personable, and considerate. The guys in the shop work with you as if they have known you for years, even on your first visit.
I had a cooling problem due to an especially cold night on the Thursday before my visit. The coolant in the radiator and engine had frozen over night, and without knowing this, I drove it to work the next day (Friday). It ran fine going to work (just a mile from home), but on the way home, a cloud of steam plumed from under the hood just a quarter mile from home. When I got it home and checked under the hood, I found a fried water pump belt and two mangled pulleys. I called Pat at Ronnie's Auto and made an appointment for Monday morning, and went on line for parts. I bought the replacement parts and a gallon of antifreeze over the weekend and dropped the car at the shop on Monday morning. During the process of making the repairs, the mechanic found that the freeze plug was also damaged.....well.....gone, and called me to tell me that some of what he had done would have to be un-done to replace the freeze plug. I ran to find a replacement freeze plug and dropped it off at the shop. The guys there still managed to complete the work by  closing on the same day and I was only charged for two hours labor!
I love the people at this place and frequently referr people to them. It's rare these days to find a competent and professional auto shop with the character and honesty of Ronnie's Automotive Services.

They were very professional and courteous. Also followed up to make sure I was happy with my service and sent me a gift card for future use. I plan to return because I was very happy with their service.

    Balch Alignment & Frame, Inc
I took my truck in for an alignment. While looking it over, the folks found bad upper and lower ball joint, tie rods, etc. (They were surprised the mechanic shop that referred me to them didn't tell me about the work that needed to be done.) Because of the age of the truck, they had to wait for factory parts to finish the repairs (reason for the length of time). Truck now rides like a brand new truck.

    Colonial Honda
I have been dealing with this dealership for over 20 years.  As time went on over these years, I began to realize that they did the best job fixing what was wrong with my car and were honest about it, too.  Being a single woman, I've always had a lot of discomfort dealing with car mechanics and dealerships trying to figure out if they were being honest with me or not.  With Colonial Honda, I am comfortable that they take care of my car without trying to gouge me for things that aren't needed.  I sincerely appreciate that.  There are so many businesses that are just trying to make the money without much concern about the customer, and I've run into a few of those.  With Colonial Honda, I believe I get good service and honesty in charging.  I've bought five cars from Colonial Honda and have never had that nagging feeling that I was being "taken" on anything.
I really can't say more about this dealership.  I expect to be buying cars from them and having the cars serviced by them for many years to come.

    PAUL'S VOLVO SPECIALIST
They've done tune ups and heating system repair 8 months ago. On note on that, we went to one car dealer and they said for the heat repair alone about $2500 another car dealer we went to they said it will be $2000 a little bit up and up so we took it to Paul's Volvo it was under $300 for the heat repair and a tune-up. The staff was excellent, courteous the whole nine yards and honesty and ndash; one thing like I said we took it to two other dealers and they never did exact same thing that they were going to repay us for that figure. Punctuality in seeing you when you get there and having the car ready when they said they would have it ready. They provide a car for you to use while your car is being repaired and any work that we have done there is always been excellent. Always satisfied with their work and everything and never had to bring back the car in because of issues.

    Virginia Automotive Service
Mr. Ed kept me informed of all progress and findings before repairing vehicle. Mr. Ed was and staff very personable and professional! I originally had the car at the dealership at gateway Hyundai for about a day and half. I had one voicemail with very vague details that would have cost me around &4, 300! When I called back to get a better breakdown and understanding they would just refer me back to the voicemail! After 4 hours of phone tag I called virginia automotive after finding them on Angie's list and they were great and they listened to every last concern I had about the car. Needless to say I picked up the car from the dealership and rushed right over to virginia automotive! I WILL continue to use them with both vehicles that we own! Thank You SO MUCH!

    Thank You Again,
    Mildred
