    Good Dog Workshop
Brian was right on with his assessment of the current challenges I’m having and provided me with a few things I need to work on with my dog prior to working with a trainer. I’ve been frustrated for a while trying to find the solution and felt a weight lift off my shoulders after my call with Brian.

    Good Dog Workshop
After some convincing from my boyfriend, I agreed to have Marina come visit and provide some guidance with my Newfoundland. It was the best thing we could have done! Marina was amazing! She came to the house and was direct, confident, provided more structure and answered all our questions and concerns with out hesitation or guesswork. I had attempted to train my Newfoundland, Bruce, in the early stages of his life because I knew the size he could be and how I could loose control quickly. We were able to get the basics down fairly easily but there were concerns later that a training class at Petco just wasn't really addressing. Bruce is approaching his 2nd birthday and Marina showed us more in depth of what Bruce was seeking from us, that we can teach and he can learn/obey/accept these new commands, how to obtain and hold the dominant role within our pack and how we can all live in a happy home with less worries. We are excited to continue using the tools she has provided us and take Bruce on more walks 😊

    Canine Dimensions Dog Training
Jess took such care in training our Shiloh and ensured we had the tools to be successful. Shiloh passed her Canine Good Citizen at the conclusion of our training! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 this training program is worth every penny and we have a lifelong trusting connection to the most caring people who help us with questions whenever we reach out and other services in the future! 💞🐾🐾💞

    Pawsome Pups Dog Training
My wife and I rescued a GSD from a shelter and decided we needed professional help with her as we felt she may have been abused. After the initial consultation/training we decided to purchase 10 more private sessions and couldn’t be happier. Our new fur baby is a totally different dog and although she still needs some work we feel that with the fantastic training and tools that were provided to us we are in a much better place than where we were before attending. Our not so friendly girl is no longer pulling on a leash, ferociously lunging at cars and will now approach people without being totally afraid and aggressive! The positive training without prong and shock collars is amazing. This girl is a girl that we can now walk down the street without worrying about her reaction. Through hard work, consistency and positive training we are sure our fur baby will continue getting better and more trusting! We would be pleased to recommend pawsome pups dog training to anyone especially those that are thinking about the use of shock or prong collars. We are pretty sure one of the two were used on our girl as she wouldn’t even allow us to put a harness on her without her getting upset at us coming to her neck and now it’s done with no issues!! Thank you Pawsome Pups Dog Training!

    A COUNTRY CAT HOUSE
Great place. Our cat needs some extra love, feeding 4 times a day. Patty cheerfully accepted the challenge and took great care of our cat. She had a nice view of Eastern Red headed cranes and all the other forest animals and had great care.

    St Francis Animal Hospital
We have been a customer of St. Francis Animal Hospital since 2014. The past year and half has been a different experience with St. Francis. The prices are high, no question about it, but their service used to be impeccable. Things have changed drastically. Today’s visit had an appointment scheduled for 920, we waited until 940 before our dog was seen. This is a new pattern and trend. The once prompt and professional service no longer exists. The most disappointing is the clinic’s noticeable change in philosophy. Ever hear of UP SELLING? Well this place has! It is clear that bottom line profits have been placed over the well being of pets. To summarize, the service is atrocious and price does not reflect the quality of service being offered.

    Merrimack Animal Hospital
This "hospital" caused our kitten to die! We took our 4-week-old (then) kitten to the emergency room for dehydration and loose stool. They prescribed her a drug to be taken for 7 days after which, kitten started to become constipated to the point her little belly tripled in size. We brought the kitten back (2nd time) where they gave her an enema to clean the colin, rehydrated and sent kitten home. We had to turn around and bring kitten 3rd time because she stopped eating on her own and using the litter box. They told us it would be $300+ for x-ray, enema and hydration. When the bill came it was $600+ as they did not have anyone to read the x-ray (additional $210 which was NOT disclosed upfront) and they decided to do 2 enemas instead of 1 and hydration. Then they told us they could not see some part on the x-ray clearly because kitten was too tiny and didn’t have “enough fat on her body.” Like that is something they did not know/see upfront! So they kept our baby that day from 11:30am to 4:30 pm just to provide her an improper treatment (instead of hydrating her colon, they were hydrating her), tell us they don't have a board-certified veterinarian, and told us to go to emergency hospital in Yorktown, Virginia Beach or Richmond. So, 3 appointments, an x- ray (which their vet was not able to even read, yet, we were charged for), 11 days of wasted time, $1,000.00+ later, and after keeping the last appointment from 11:30am to 4:30 pm, we have to go to emergency hospital in Yorktown, pay another 1800.00 and to lose our baby after all. If it would not be for unprofessionalism and greediness of these vets and this hospital, we would of have taken our kitten elsewhere and I have no doubts she would be still with us. The worst professional experience we ever had with the veterinarians in our lives. It is set to be a money-making machine and nothing else. After reviewing the case upon our request, they said they stand by their veterinarian decisions! It is a very sad situation is the least I can say and will file a complaint with the board because our pets should not die from having a liquid stool...

    Ms Betty's Little Paws
This is the only place I feel comfortable leaving my dog. She has been going here since it opened. It’s the cleanest salon I’ve ever seen. Karla the owner is very friendly and goes beyond to make I am is more than satisfied. Sometimes I don’t see what’s going on with my little girl and she catches it and tells me what I need to do! She really cares about my baby girl and that’s so comforting! My girl has some funky hair and without fail Miss Betty’s Little Paws does the most incredible job on her! Love the way she smells too! Her nails are always so smooth too! Miss Betty’s Little Paws is where I will be going and sending anyone with a small dog! You won’t find a better service or more caring ladies in a 50 mile radius!

    Tidewater Trail Animal Hospital
I wish I could give this place negative stars. I took my bearded dragon here after finding out they see exotic animals. I typically go to a different vet, but I found this one was closer to me and wanted to try it. My bearded dragon started showing signs that she was sick so I took her in for an appointment May 14th. I told the exotic vet that she had been having bloody diarreha and refused to eat and I showed him that she looked dehydrated. He was friendly enough and gave me some de-wormer in case that would help and said he wouldn't be there the following week, so asked me to bring in a fecal sample Tuesday, May 26. My bearded dragon was not getting better, in fact was getting much worse. I brought in my sample May 26, knowing that this testing only takes 1-2 days generally. No one called me the rest of the week. So the following Monday, June 1, I called to check on if the results were ready. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful, as per usual. She said they weren't back yet and I asked her if she knew when, because my bearded dragon wasn't doing well, and she said no, she didn't know when and would call me when she had them. I continued to wait, as my bearded dragon got sicker. I called on Thursday, June 4 and asked again if the results were in. It was a different girl this time and told me the same thing, that no they weren't in yet. I told her my bearded dragon was not doing well and I needed to know when the results would be back. She put me on hold and checked. She came back to the phone to tell me that, oh, OOPS, they've been in, they just forgot to "input them into the system". She told me they were negative. At this point I'm already furious. The results have been in, my bearded dragon is getting worse, and no one called me? She scheduled me for an appointment the following day, June 5th. I also asked to speak to the exotic vet on the phone multiple times before he finally gave me a call June 5 in the afternoon. There was not much he could do over the phone so he said he would see me at my appointment at 2 that day. By the time I got to the vet, my bearded dragon had already passed away. I was completely heartbroken and devastated and knew that if someone would have just told me the results of her fecal test when they came back, I could've made an earlier appointment or gone to a different vet because obviously if it's negative, as they say, something else is severely wrong. They all acted somewhat sympathetic for me at the vet when my bearded dragon passed away. However, I had another question for the vet before I left and I asked someone else there if they could send him in real quick so I could ask. I literally heard him "sigh" out of annoyance before he opened the door and came in to speak to me again. I'm not sure if it was directed towards me, but it sure seemed so, which is nice considering my pet just died. I had to stop back in after she was cremated and I asked for all of my paperwork for all of the times I had been there. I got the lab report that said her fecal sample was tested on May 26. I asked the lady who gave it to me from the lab if it was tested the same day I brought it in, and she said yes. So they literally had the results for 2 weeks and when I called they acted like I was annoying for calling and said they would call me. I'm just beyond furious and upset with this practice. Everyone that works there seems to have some type of attitude for no reason. If you value your pets life, I'd strongly advise you take them elsewhere.
