    Dansk Day Spa
I made an appointment for a spa package (facial, pedicure and massage) weeks in advance as a birthday gift to myself.  I made a specific request at the time of booking that I wanted the facial and the pedicure before the massage, even if it meant it extended my time there.  I was willing to wait longer for the polish to dry, in order to have the massage last, and to leave there feeling totally relaxed.  The appointment was scheduled for 10:30, with the understanding I had to be out of there by 1:15 for another appointment about 5 or 10 minutes away.  I told her I could come earlier if that was necessary, and she assured me it was plenty of time.I arrived at about 10:25, and waited about 15 minutes for the massage therapist.  I got my massage first.  After I had that long discussion about how I wanted them scheduled, it happened the exact opposite.  But I know how spas run, and I know the likelihood that the other technicians were free, or even there yet, was unlikely, so rather than get any more upset than I was, I simply went with it.

The massage was ok.  It wasn't the worst I ever had, but it certainly wasn't the best.  I would not return for it.  It smelled good because I had the chocolate.  The really interesting, very very positive thing about the massage, was that she had me start by laying on my back, and finished with my back and my neck.  It's usually the other way around.  I liked her method a lot more.

The facial:  I was left waiting in the front of the house in a robe for about 15 minutes, alone, with no explanation about what would happen next.  Was someone going to come and get me?  Was the facial next or the pedicure?  How long would it be?  Then finally the technician took me to the room, which made it pretty obvious I was having the facial next.  She did the whole schpeal about getting undressed, under the sheets, and she'd be right back. I laid there for 20 minutes before she came back.

I had a hair appointed scheduled for 1:30 that I was now going to be extremely late for, which I had to call and postpone, because the technicians had no respect for my time as the customer.  And it didn't get any better.

The facial was very superficial.  I could have given myself a better one, to be honest.

The pedicure was pretty good, except the technician came into the room and left again 3 times, saying she had to go get her tools.  Did she not know I was coming?  Shouldn't she have been prepared for a customer?  I could MAYBE understand forgetting them once, but three times?  Where did she go each of those times?

The only good thing about the experience was that it wasn't that expensive.  All three of those came to only $210.

    I wouldn't recommend it.
