    Williams Painting And Remodeling
Great! I recently purchased a townhouse that needed all the rooms repainted and the bathroom remodeled, with a limired amount if time to get it done. William and his team met the challenge and delivered on time with quality work. I will definitely hire them again.

    The Tile Artisan
This review is long overdue. My wife and I recently trusted Paul Bender and his team at The Tile Artisan to remodel our kitchen to include new flooring, cabinets, backsplash, counter, and appliances. Paul worked diligently to get the project within our budget and we could not be more pleased with the results. The kitchen now looks stunning compared to what it was originally. We had used Tile Artisan previously to re-do our bathrooms and got outstanding results with those projects as well. Paul is responsive and takes his customers inputs seriously. We recommend Tile Artisan!

    Richards Construction Inc
Larry was very professional, as was his crew. They were there when they said they would be, and completed the majority of the work on time. They had to rip out an amateur job done by the previous owners, which took time. They got the bulk of the work done within two months. Most of the work on the list was completed as promised. A few small items were never done, but not enough to make me complain, especially since they let us finance the last 10,000 of the job, with no interest, and it took us over a year to pay it off.

The down side is that the ground surrounding the window well keeps sinking lower than the well itself, which leaves a rather ugly trench around the well, about a foot deep. In addition, mud keeps piling up inside the window well, and mud seeps in through the window itself. (I don't know if I can blame the crew for that, really, or not, however. It may be simply that when you get that much rain, that will happen -- and to be fair, the walls and carpet stayed dry - it was just a layer of brown over the white paint where it seeped in from the window.)

    VA Premium Cabinets & Renovations
This was a very painful process.  The project began in January and did not get completed until mid May.  Some of the delay was due to our deciding to change a few cabinets and we had to wait for the new ones to come in.  However, we felt the designer/owner designed that section poorly.  We also had to wait for a new cabinet because either the designer measured and ordered a cabinet that was too tall or Wolf sent the wrong cabinet.... the cabinet sat in our garage for a couple of months until the crew was ready for it, was hauled up  a  flight of stairs to our kitchen, and then found out it was too tall.  Several other incidents that were upsetting to us were, damage (most slight) to the cabinets while installing (we were told filler and matching paint would hide this and we were advised "white cabinets" tend to show this type of damage more than wood). When hardware was installed, 3-4 handles were crooked or not centered.  while the handles were corrected, we wound up with extra holes that needed to be filled and painted.  The biggest complaint was that we had a wall that wasn't plum ... therefore the cabinet that sits against it looks off... if we had been told this would happen and had been told for extra cost they could make the wall plum and get a cleaner corner, we would have had them correct the problem.
The company did respond to all complaints and did give us a slight discount for some of the issues.  We just had much higher expectations for one of "Angie's List" top rated kitchen remodelers. To their credit, the owners and employees were very nice and polite. We don't know if the rating increased their business to the point that they couldn't keep up the quality of work or if we just expected too much.

Brian M Sperty - Kitchen & Bath Specialist
I contacted Brian for an estimate after reviewing comments. He was responsive, arriving at the house within days after discussing project on the phone. He understood the scope of the job and his quote was very fair. Throughout the process, he was easy to reach either via phone or e-mail . There were delays on our part (Home Depot forgot to order several integral cabinet parts) so when it was time to start up again, it was easy to reach him and schedule work times. His staff is professional, communicative, accommodating and experienced--offering suggestions and tips to improve the overall design. I appreciated that they insured that inconveniences like no sink, no microwave, etc. were kept to a minimum. Kitchen area was cleaned well after each work day. We're thrilled with the results--a kitchen face-lift that's earning lots of compliments!

    BRAY AND SCARF
They were prompt when they installed the appliances in my kitchen. They did all this in a day and a half, but came back the next day to put in the backslash. They were on time and had their plumber come over and do the plumbing work. They are basically a one-stop shop. They do everything, even redesign a kitchen completely. I would use them in the future. Some friends of ours have already gone and used them too.
