    Zippy Shell Storage and Moving
    It was so easy to use Zippy Shell! I had heard about pods and initially received a quote from PODS, but found that Zippy was cheaper. It was great and easy working with Arnetia to set up the drop off and pick up of the pod. We had the pod at off-site storage for about a month while we were moving and then had it delivered to our new address. This was such an easier and more efficient process than renting a storage unit and having to haul our belongings to the storage unit. I will definitely use them again in the future!

    Zippy Shell Storage and Moving
    Packing up, team was punctual, professional, careful with our furniture and had a great attitude. Since we had to fill three pods, they were very diligent with their time and effort and got two pods fully loaded and carried away before mid-afternoon. They left the third pod partially loaded (per our request) allowing us to fill it with more boxes and items we didn't have time to stage. They picked it up on time two days later. Moving in (5 months later) everything was unloaded quickly and staged in our new home per our directions. They unwrapped our furniture and moved it where we wanted it. Again the crew was very efficient and professional. No damages, no breakage, nothing missing.

    The end result was beyond expectations. The paint-job I was trying to match was multi-layered, a very expensive process. EPC came up with a solution that kept my job in line with normal prices, and I was delighted with the result. However, I do think they underestimated the time it would take.

    Zippy Shell Storage and Moving
    This was the 2nd time I've used Zippy Shell and we have had good success both times. Bill Shannon was responsive to my emails and followed through on what he said would be done. If there's anything I'd recommend to improve, it'd be narrowing the time of day forecasting for the trailer delivery / pickup, I'd use Zippy Shell again if I need off site storage in the future.

    As an owner of a dishwasher, washer and drier, and refrigerator, I will NEVER buy another Samsung product. They contract only with one 3rd party repair company, Home Service Network, in the entire Mid-Atlantic. This company has a habit of cancelling and not showing up for service. Our dishwasher went out almost 6 weeks ago. Conveniently just after the 1 year warranty ended. We scheduled a technician to come out. The first appointment had to be rescheduled because the tech called out sick. After more than a week, he came. He charged us $90, said nothing was wrong, and closed the ticket. We had to call Samsung again, open a new ticket, schedule a new appointment. The same tech came out- after another week- showed up late for the appointment, and replaced the mother board. He had a new control panel with him and said he thought ours was bad but wasn't going to replace it. The next day- the dishwasher stopped working again. We called Samsung and opened ANOTHER ticket. Two days later, someone from Home Service Network called to find out what was going on, because they were confused as to why I keep breaking my appliance (?!). They scheduled a different repair person to come on Friday 7/21 (over a month after our first call). The tech did not show up and did not call to cancel. I left two messages at Home Service Network, my husband left a message, and finally we called Samsung. They couldn't get through and left a message. Friday came and went, then the weekend, and then Monday. Still no return call. I called Samsung again on Monday. They couldn't get through so they called a regional manager with Home Service Network. The soonest appointment was for today, Thursday, 7/21. This morning at 11:30, I get a call the tech is out sick and they will come on Saturday. This is OUTRAGEOUS! Between service appointments and missed service appointments, I have used up over a week of vacation days and I still don't have a dishwasher that works. No once cares. Not the repair company, and not Samsung. I just called Samsung to report that we were cancelled on AGAIN. I asked to speak with a Manager. After a 34 minute hold, I was disconnected. BUYER BEWARE! These product are okay, but they don't last, and then you are stuck with a product so specialized that only a certain company can fix it. That company doesn't give a cent about Samsung customers. Do yourself a favor and buy an LG. At least when that breaks, you can get it fixed in a timely manner.

    Swingset Man
    Russ did an excellent job, we were very pleased. I wasn't sure how things would go, we had built a gravel pad out back on our sloped yard, so it was important that the play set be set up within acceptable "buffer area" of the retaining wall. All of the parts also had to be moved from the driveway out back to the area. Russ delivered a great service, on time, as promised, at a reasonable price. He even went the extra mile to call the vendor on our behalf when a part was shipped late! Would definitely recommend Russ!

    Two Men and a Truck
    The movers worked hard, and every leg occurred as planned. However a lot of damage was done to our belongings. We took out the comprehensive coverage to insure our move and submitted a claim. Damage was done by the trucks to our asphalt driveway, several wooden furniture pieces were damaged, and some of our natural stone topped items were damaged. I submitted a claim with details and pictured for each damaged piece and have been working with the claims department since the move. I was asked for an estimate on the cash value of my damaged pieces, but they opted to send a worker out to repair things instead of paying the estimated amount. A few of the furniture pieces were repaired quite nicely but the main item, an antique white set that included a bed and dresser was damaged. They didn't install the bed properly (and lost the screws to it) and the dark blue dye from the moving blankets used heavily stained the dresser. The dresser top and drawers were taken to a furniture repair facility that was to restain/paint the dresser to fix the blue damage. I was told it would take about 5 days to complete the work. It took nearly 7 weeks and what I received was a different color (overly yellow) that no longer matched the bed. I complained and escalated the issue and was told that they could paint it again but were unwilling to do anything further to fix the issue. I was also told that they would pay $250 toward a $1500 asphalt repair bill and that they would not repair the damaged marble because it was a natural stone with natural faults (yet their technician attempted to repair it with chemicals and advised me to call the office because he could not successfully repair it). I would caution anyone that cares about their belongings, and values customer service to use ANYONE other than this company. Moves are stressful enough and to add the lingering impact of fighting for repairs after paying the extra money for insurance is just not worth it.

    Kevin and Kevin just left my house this morning after delivering a used 8' Olhausen Eclipse I purchased from Higgins Billiards. They gave a fair price for the table, explained every step of assembling and adding new cloth, and showed how they make certain the table is flat and level. Both gentleman were professional and obviously knowledgeable and moved quickly through the process while we had an enjoyable and cordial chat throughout the 2 hours 40 minutes. They arrived on time and left behind a beautiful table and a very satisfied customer. I would happily recommend Kevin Higgins and his company any time!

    In early May 2016 we had a new gas range for our kitchen delivered by Home Depot. In our county gas appliances require professional hookup and county permits. Hope Depot contracted with Doherty Plumbing to do the range hookup. The gentleman who did that work was excellent. A few weeks after that we decided to look into getting a new gas grill, and converting our existing gas meter to allow a grill hookup. Based on the good experience with the kitchen range I called Doherty Plumbing. Turns out the Doherty that came for the range is the commercial division. The one I talked to about the grill hookup is the residential division. While they are one umbrella company apparently the two divisions are managed completely separately. The experience with the residential division was not good. When I called them to have someone come take a look at our site, they actually were able to send someone that very day. That was great, and the guy came even though it was raining. He took some photos, chatted a short bit about possible options and said he'd send the info to the office so someone could provide a quote. (He said he is not involved at all in pricing and couldn't even offer a ballpark.) I waited several days and didn't hear back. I called them on a Friday morning, no one was available. I called them on a Monday morning and their line rolled over to be picked up by the commercial division. They put me thru to someone's voice mail where I left a message. I called them on Tuesday morning and talked with a man who said he would have the quote to me by the end of the day. I never heard back (it's been almost 3 weeks now.) In the meantime based on some things I read, and that it was proving difficult to find someone to even do an estimate, we decided to drop the project and just get a new LP gas grill.
