    Great. Aaron Aiken was very knowledgeable. Checked attic, vents, even under beds. Said it was not a dead animal. Pointed us to a plumbing problem with easy fix. He was great. Did find and remove two very e dead birds in attic (not source of odor.)

    CroppMetcalfe has been a service provider for me for several years and for several different services. Primarily, I used Cropp for regular HVAC maintenance. I have also signed on with them for regular pest control service, as I live in a wooded area. I switched to Cropp for pest control in 2017 for two reasons: 1) I knew they would do good work based on my past experience with HVAC, and 2) when my former, locally-owned & operated pest control company was purchased by a larger, national entity, the pricing went up with no new services or amenities added. Cropp was highly competitive on cost and I like that they are headquartered in my community, Lastly, they installed a new hot water heater for me when mine gave up the ghost last year (after 20 years!). Their technicians are courteous and knowledgeable professionals, through and through. It's easy to schedule appointments, and they use technology wisely (technicians work with mobile devices not paper forms, they use auto-reminder phone calls, and so on). On occasion, they are delayed for appointments, although no more so than other service providers. I chalk this up to the awful traffic we have in the DC/NoVA area and that technicians don't always know in advance how big of a job they will encounter in any given home. They do always call if they will be late, and you can also ask for the 1st appointment of the day (assuming your need is not an emergency).

    Sales call went great, the salesperson Mike was very knowledgeable, showed up on time, answered all my questions and made some good recommendations for what to do. Everything was downhill from there. It took >2 weeks to receive the quote, which should have been the signal to me that I should run. However, reviews here were positive so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After multiple phone calls, I receive the quote, however it didn't reflect a $50 promotion they were running so I didn't sign or return it so they could adjust. I called to set up an appt, and the rep said a technician would be in touch with me to schedule and could bring the paperwork for me to sign with them. The technician didn't set up an appt, but just showed up at my house one day when I was at work. We arranged for a time the next day when I would actually be home. He came on time, but had no idea why he was there. Literally asked what work I needed done and why I had called him, as if I hadn't spent an hour going through a whole plan with the sales rep. He didn't have any paperwork. He sprayed a few areas and 10 minutes later he was gone. He left his bag of tools behind and didn't pick them up for a week. I was so dissatisfied that I called to cancel, and spoke to a manager who said he would take care of it. However, I continued to receive invoices (and calls from their AR dept) for the next 6 weeks. Took 4-5 calls and over a month to get a manager on the phone, and is still unresolved. Bottom line, it's hard for me to understand why people leave such glowing reviews unless they have just had their accounts on autopilot for years and never actually needed to interact w/ Connors. Terrible customer service, and the one technician I met had no idea what he was doing.

    We got their yearly service and have definately seen a decrease in the amount of bugs, secifically ants, in the house. We opted to get the mosquito treatments as well, and that has been a great help in cutting down on mosquitos during the summer.

    Initial and subsequent visits were effective in treating problem. The initial cost of service (including Angies' discount seemed high but with service coverage for up to 90 days to treat recurring or additional areas the cost became reasonable. Kevin was courteous, professional, and kept us abreast of the chemicals and techniques used. Scheduling for service was easy. I would recommend "Pest Now" for any future service without hesitation.

    Connor's was responsive when I made the appointment for an inspection. Inspector and construction manager visited home to survey work needed. We did not receive an estimate even after I called Connor's twice to follow-up and provided phone and email contact both times. Estimate was promised both times but never received or phone call returned.

    When the service guy came out to give me an estimate. He was charging me $720.00 for a quarterly service with a $325.00 deposit. Since I did not mention Angie's List he was charging me full price. When I called in to complain, I got a lot of static from their office. Then I talked with the Manager and he did honor the Angie's List price. When he went over the terms of the contract which the estimator did not do, I said that I wanted to cancel my contract with them. This was not what I was told. They do not let you know what day or time they are coming out until the night before and I need more advance time to make plans. He agreed to cancel my contract and refund my money within 48 hours. It was now been 21 days (3 weeks) and I have not received my refund check yet. I have called and left several messages with no one returning my calls. I have also written several emails to them with no response either. This is company is over priced for their services and forget it if you want to cancel their services.

    Had our initial visit today and Anthony, our tech, was great. The price for the visit was set ahead of time, and I worried they'd try to do the least they had to in order to maximize profit. Instead, Anthony was very thorough and explained everything he was doing, going above and beyond what I would have expected.
