    I think they're competitive on pricing. I dropped the car off and then picked it up when it was ready. Some of the people that answer the phone are kind of quick and don't pay that much attention. When you go over there a lot of times you are standing there 5 or 7 minutes before somebody even comes to ask what you need done or what you are here for. Also when they provide the window, sometimes they don't call you. You have to call them. In fact that happens many times. We've even ended up with the car just being left over there because they never called. And they said oh yeah it was done. We said well you didn't call and we assumed it wasn't done and that's why you didn't call. If they could be more responsive that would be really really good.

    I needed the splash guard replaced on my 2007 Honda Civic in a hurry because it was dragging on the ground. My boyfriend and I have been regular ABS Unlimited Auto Repair customers for about two years, so he called them on Columbus Day to see if they could squeeze me in. They said to come right in. When we went in, Tom took a look at it, called the Honda dealership and ordered the part. ABS had it installed by the afternoon. The service was great.
    The extraordinary part came when I went to pick up the car. My bumper had become detached on the drivers side a few years ago when I was parked at the Metro. ABS professionally reattached the bumper at no charge...without even telling me! I continue to be delighted by their excellent service. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you ABS!!!

    I contacted them first online through their website. They gave me a great deal up front. No games and no hassle. What I liked very much is that they did not require my phone number in order to give me a quote but left it up to me to decide how I wanted to proceed. They answered all my questions promptly. At the dealership there were no pressure tactics, they were honest and direct . Kabir was our sales representative, he was very patient, grateful that we had come to their dealership and answered all our questions. The manager came in to meet us and to answer a couple of questions too before we closed the deal. I highly recommend them. We had a very pleasant, easy buying experience. We got a car that we love at a great price.

    The Brake Squad Mobile Brake Repair Service
    On my drive home on Friday I noticed the tell-tale squeaking sound from my front wheel well. Knowing it was time to get new pads, I initially was going to take my car into the Midas dealership when I found Joe and The Brake Squad on Angie's List and Google.  Given the excellent reviews, convenience, and competitive pricing...I gave it a shot and called.  They indicated they could fit me in the next day on Saturday at 2 p.m.
    Joe, the owner, arrived on time and lived up to the company's well-founded reputation.   When starting the job, we discovered that my Civic was part of the 1% of Honda sedans made in Canada and required a special-sized pad.  In less than 20 minutes, Joe had returned to my house and finished the entire job (including the trip to his distributor) in less than 1 hour. 
    Bottom line, I would use Joe and The Brake Squad again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend them to everyone.  He is in the process of franchising what I consider is a sound and excellent business model.

    Don Beyer Volvo Falls Church
    It did not go well.  I hesitate to even go into any detail because of any future recalls and the need to go back to the dealer.  I was given the run around and the car was held hostage for a time (during the day that I had the car towed to the shop).  After keeping my car for almost 2 days, the shop said that they could not pinpoint the potential leak and needed to remove the gas tank.  They stated that they would need to charge me for removing the tank (although this could be associated with a recall) and THEN told me that there would be a charge to diagnose the issue.  After I decided that I would take my care elsewhere for another opinion, I was not treated well by the Don Beyer staff.  I had to demand the return of my car.  The return of my car took several hours (during a steady rain storm and the patience of AAA who was waiting to tow the car to another Volvo Dealer).  I am not a happy customer and share my experience with other consumers.
    I took my car to a Volvo dealership in Maryland who were absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!!  Bon Beyer could take a big lesson from other Volvo Dealers in the area!!
