    All American Appliance Service Inc
Our dryer stopped working on Sunday, and we called and left a message. All American Appliance called back early on Monday morning and we were able to schedule an appointment on Wednesday between 11 and 2. On Wednesday, Mark called around 10:50 saying he'd be there shortly, and he was. He diagnosed the issue as being a broken heating element, which they needed to order. He scheduled an appointment again between 11 and 2. He called around 11:45 to say he'd be there shortly, which he was. He had the dryer repaired within 20 minutes or so. Mark was friendly, courteous, and punctual. They were extremely responsive and kept us up to date with the timeline for repair. Would definitely use again and would recommend to others.

    Above The Rest
Umar and his assistant were fantastic. Initially the assistant came out to see what needed to be done. Umar called shortly after his assistant left and explained what would be needed and what the cost would be. Due to the fact that in addition to the heating unit needing to be replaced, the wires had burned out and also needed replacing, meaning the entire unit had to be removed from the wall in order to properly repair the oven Both Umar and his assistant came out to do the job. They were punctual, and worked tirelessly explaining to us what they were doing as they worked. They are perfectionists and clearly have an excellent work ethic. Above the Rest is a perfect name for the company because from our experience they are. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Above the Rest for any appliance repair you might have.

Called in the morning and phone was answered directly. Described problem, phone tech suggested replacement. After my agreement, they scheduled same day afternoon service. Technician arrived on time with phone call to let us know his exact arrival time. Technician verified problem of cracked case and replaced unit with new disposal with in 30 minutes. Checked operation and interface with dishwasher. Cleaned up and gave us warrantee info. Have used them since 2014 with same prompt courteous service on refrigerators, freezers.

Al the technician came to our home promptly as promised, and examined the washer. He recommended that it be repaired versus replaced, and we agreed. Al ordered the part, it came in the following week, and he came back to install it. The washer is working great now! Within a few days, our dryer stopped working. Al came back to look at it, helped us compare prices to repair or replace, and recommended a good brand when we opted to replace.

    Home Service Network
As an owner of a dishwasher, washer and drier, and refrigerator, I will NEVER buy another Samsung product. They contract only with one 3rd party repair company, Home Service Network, in the entire Mid-Atlantic. This company has a habit of cancelling and not showing up for service. Our dishwasher went out almost 6 weeks ago. Conveniently just after the 1 year warranty ended. We scheduled a technician to come out. The first appointment had to be rescheduled because the tech called out sick. After more than a week, he came. He charged us $90, said nothing was wrong, and closed the ticket. We had to call Samsung again, open a new ticket, schedule a new appointment. The same tech came out- after another week- showed up late for the appointment, and replaced the mother board. He had a new control panel with him and said he thought ours was bad but wasn't going to replace it. The next day- the dishwasher stopped working again. We called Samsung and opened ANOTHER ticket. Two days later, someone from Home Service Network called to find out what was going on, because they were confused as to why I keep breaking my appliance (?!). They scheduled a different repair person to come on Friday 7/21 (over a month after our first call). The tech did not show up and did not call to cancel. I left two messages at Home Service Network, my husband left a message, and finally we called Samsung. They couldn't get through and left a message. Friday came and went, then the weekend, and then Monday. Still no return call. I called Samsung again on Monday. They couldn't get through so they called a regional manager with Home Service Network. The soonest appointment was for today, Thursday, 7/21. This morning at 11:30, I get a call the tech is out sick and they will come on Saturday. This is OUTRAGEOUS! Between service appointments and missed service appointments, I have used up over a week of vacation days and I still don't have a dishwasher that works. No once cares. Not the repair company, and not Samsung. I just called Samsung to report that we were cancelled on AGAIN. I asked to speak with a Manager. After a 34 minute hold, I was disconnected. BUYER BEWARE! These product are okay, but they don't last, and then you are stuck with a product so specialized that only a certain company can fix it. That company doesn't give a cent about Samsung customers. Do yourself a favor and buy an LG. At least when that breaks, you can get it fixed in a timely manner.

BEWARE! The repairman came out on May 2, 2017 and located the noise and recommended a new compressor fan. I agreed to the repair and the price. I was given a 90-day parts and labor warranty. I called two weeks later to say the noise had not gone away. They agreed to send a repairman out to check it out. The day before the appointment, it was cancelled and I was told to adjust the settings for the freezer and refrigerator and that would fix the problem. It did not fix the problem. I made a third appointment for repair. The repairman came out Friday, July 7 and said the fan he replaced was no good and he replaced it with a new fan. Take note - I have a GE refrigerator and they use Sears parts, not GE brand parts. I was glad to have a fan that worked. I was told by repairman that the 90-day warranty would not be extended and the 90-day warranty would be from the day the first, defective fan was installed (May 2, 2017). I have been told that Virginia law requires that the part be warrantied from the date of installation, not the date on the first service call. I would like a warranty of 90 days parts and service from July 7. I have spoken to the owner, Tina, and she hung up on me when I made the request for the 90 days from the new part install. This is a fair and valid request. I hope this helps others when looking for a repair company.

First, the problem was solved. Second, they responded the same day and kept the appointment time. Sam called ahead of time to confirm and checked back to make sure everything was Ok. Sam clearly explained the problem and the solution. Lastly, when checking the dishwasher, Sam found that another pipe was leaking and fixed that.

They are a service provider by a home warranty program offered by Sears. They collected the deductible from me and reported that they couldn't get the spare parts required to do the repair. The warranty company got the parts for them. They claimed to be a MIELE certified company of home kitchen appliances but when I checked with MIELE, I found out that they were not. That was the first problem. Another issue, was that they could not order the spare parts. If they had been MIELE- certified they would have been able to. Then, once they got the parts from the warranty company, they said that it couldn't be repaired and had to be replaced. They then offered to do the replacement. I find that to be unethical. I didnt want a replacement I wanted a repair by a qualified technician.

I called to schedule an appointment which I needed as soon as possible. I was offered a next day appointment which was great!! Shan arrived punctually as scheduled and quickly diagnosed the problem. The control board was bad. He didn't have the one needed on his truck, but he left and picked up one, returned promptly, and installed it. Before pushing the refrigerator back into place, he vacuumed up all the accumulated dust where the refrigerator had been. He was most courteous, professional, and pleasant, and I paid a reasonable price for his service. I will most definitely use DMV Appliance Repair in the future, and I will request Shan as my technician. It was a pleasure doing business with him!!
