    Moss Building & Design
Excellent quality workmanship. Project took longer to completion than anticipated, in part, because we experienced a foundation leak that required another contractor to repair. Moss worked with us to prepare for that repair and replace work that had to be redone. Overall, very pleased with the final remodel.

Arguetas True r- value insulation and air sealing
They did a fantastic job, and Id highly recommend for insulation services. We needed the insulation replaced above our kitchen, along a gable wall adjacent to 2 upstairs bedrooms, and in the ceiling in a basement bedroom. They came out the same day for an estimate and provided the most reasonable quote (I got several). They were able to start 2 days later and were able to finish in a day and a half. In the attic space, they removed the old fiberglass bats and fiberboard, air sealed and spray foamed, and blew in dense pack cellulose insulation. In the basement, they cut minimal holes in each ceiling section to spray in the insulation, sprayed it in, and then did a great job finishing and painting the drywall. They put down canvas cloth along the whole path to the bedroom, taped off everything very well, took off their shoes in the house, and cleaned up very well when they were done. If you want great insulation work done at a reasonable price, I highly recommend!

    Valor Mold Removal
Phenomenal!!! They were recommended by several colleagues from the professional trades and I know why --- THEY ARE THE BEST! No hard sell, no scare tactics, only the truth and explanations that start with common sense English and delve as deep into the details as you want to go. Kept calling with polite and professional updates as to arrival details and then took time for professional assessment that left the others in the dust. Got issues? CALL THEM and don't look back!

Very good. Crew very skilled and professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They even did extra which wasn't part of contract and agreement, but they did it anyway just to do it right with no additional charge to me. Tim the site supervisor and Viki the office manger very nice to work with. Very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Price: Most importantly, the original estimate for the work (after site survey mind you) was $615, and the final price came to $973.47, nearly 60% higher than what was originally quoted. When I asked the office manager why we ended up so far off the original estimate, she just told me that sometimes the work takes longer (but 70% longer?). We were actually slightly over the original estimate on the first day ($658.27), and the worker needed to return for a second day. At that point I wasn't made aware that we were going to end up so far over the original estimate, so I thought it would just be a very quick in-and-out on the second day, but I ended up with a bill for another 5.5 hours on top of the 8 hours already completed. Quality: It's really too bad, because the actual work looks pretty good. The interior wall/ceiling/fan look great, even better than when I moved in. The exterior looks good also. I can tell there is some minor damage to the frame of the window now, presumably from the exterior work to diagnose the leak, but nothing really noticeable if you're not already looking for it. Responsiveness/Punctuality/Professionalism: The majority of my communication with Ted and Nancy was via email, and they were quick to respond to my inquiries. The original estimate was about a day later than promised, and I had to call to get the day-1 invoice detail and receipt that wasn't sent after I paid the first day, but nothing too major. Ted, Nancy, and Miguel all seemed like nice people, and they were pleasant to work with. Overall, I enjoyed working with the team, and the work looks good now that it's completed, but to be that far off on an estimate is just a non-starter for me. I thought the original estimate was reasonable enough that I didn't pursue additional quotes (won't make that mistake again), but it can really be a budget killer when you're trusting a site-surveyed estimate that doesn't even get in the ballpark.

They were very professional, keeping us informed and checking the traps regularly as it was quite hot at the time. They were always prompt, courteous and did a great job. We had extra insulation installed by them after the cleanup was done and the trampled insulation was replaced. They also put on gutter guards that are resistant to wildlife chewing which was extra as well. We were very happy with their work and would definitely call on them again if needed!

    Basement Remodeling Company
It was truly a pleasure to work with this company. Pavel and Elena were outstanding to work with andensured all aspects of this project were taken care of and our questions answered. Workers were always right on time, extremely neat and very polite. Work was estimated to take about 4 weeks to complete and they finished right on time...even after my wife and I made last min additions/changes. They even fixed our water heater when they notice a slight leak at no extra charge to us!! I strongly recommend this company for their high quality, amazing customer service and great value!! Couldn't be happier with our basement!!

    Prudent Homes
David was very knowledgeable about what I could do to eliminate the ice dams I had been having, including providing suggestions on changes my roofers could make.  He clearly knew more about insulation than the other companies I received quotes from.  The price was also about $800 less.  David was very responsive in providing estimates, flexible when my plans changed at the last minute, and great about keeping me updated on scheduling.

The installers completed the work very quickly and professionally. They removed about 18 huge bags of old compacted fiberglass insulation, sprayed new foam insulation, and cleaned up everything.  Overall, the process was quick and easy.  I'm looking forward to a winter without water running in my house.

My BF scheduled an appmt for an estimate, while he was browsing at a Home Show at the Dulles Expo. They pressured him to make an appmt. Worse yet, when the guy came out, which was a Thursday night,, possibly named Doug, he arrived at the appointed time, but kept pressuring my BF non-stop to commit to attic insulation. As soon as I overheard the price quoted for over $8k and wanted him to sign a document, I felt that it was time for him to go. My BF insisted that he wanted to think about it, the sales guy couldn't take "No" for an answer. It's like he refused to leave, unless he made a sale.
In fact, the sales guy gave my BF a document with people's names and phone number on it. The sales guy insisted on my BF calling the people listed on the document to inquire about their satisfaction of their services. One phone number listed was disconnected and the other caller said he wasn't interested, indicating that he wasn't a customer at all.  @ 7:30pm on a Thursday night, no one wants to talk to my BF about attic insulation done by this company.. Most ppl are arriving home from work, making dinner, attending to their kids & sorting through mail.
By the time the sales guy left, my BF was mentally exhausted and just wanted to eat dinner & settle down for the night. .

    Homefix Custom Remodeling
We had someone knock on our door in October, 2015. Had him come back and check our home. He told us that we didn't need his company to fix what we needed fixing. THEN the phone calls started coming. I have had my phone number since 1999 and this one corporation is making me think of getting my phone number changed. Every few weeks I get a phone call asking me how this service was. I have told them at least 4 times (5 now, as of tonight) to stop calling me. I put my husband on the phone. I had given them a high rating on Angie's List. And I will be going in to change that now. And now putting this 1 star on Yelp. Obnoxious people who do NOT understand the clearly stated words, "STOP CALLING ME!!!!!" This is HARASSMENT !!!!! Stop harassing me!!!!!!!
