    Herndon Family Medicine
There is a handful of doctors there. They are all great every time we go there. They are very well connected with their technology. We have a general practitioner that we go to but if you get sick and have to see a different doctor, they all have your information. The doctor knows our history and knows us because we have been seeing him for a long time. It feels like a true family practice. They care about us. We even see our doctor and his family in the neighborhood and we greet each other. He always asks about my family and how they are doing. That is a rare thing.

The doctors there are very friendly and practical. My daughter is 2 months old and they are very practical with her based on their experience. They are very friendly and might be busy at times but the service from the doctors and nurses are very good once I get in to see them.

    Web site is not great.

When calling for help to find out about providers they are a C.

They do not like to give absolute answers- like ALL health insurance companies

Their cost is very competitive with the other choices our employer offers.  Every time we have had an issue with a doctor's office (usually incorrect billing), CareFirst has taken care of it with no problem.  Whenever I call CareFirst, I always talk to a person who is helpful and works to resolve whatever issue I am calling about.  The choice of doctors is large - no problem finding someone who takes CareFirst.  I recommend this health care provider.

For 12 years my family has valued the coverage provided by the FSBP as we travelled the world. In the U.S., the network is extensive, with no co-pay at the time of service. Explanation of Benefit statements are accurate and easy to understand. Customer service by telephone, fax, and email is quick and effective. The online search for providers, whether by name or specialty is extremely useful. Each year FSBP increases member benefits. FSBP is one of the participating health insurers under OPM for federal employees.

We're very happy with them. I like that they are very well organized and that lots of stuff are done online, and I like the doctors. We decided to use them because my wife has it for her work. We chose this over the other ones because they don't have any payments other than copayments.

This is not the first time I am having terrible issues with the pharmacists at this pharmacy. It just so happened tonight that I had forgotten to call in during the day to refill my prescription due to work and I came in about 11 pm at night. There were no one else waiting there to pick up any other meds, I was ready to give the pharmacist my name and info so he could work on my case. Well, he just told me that I should have called in earlier and that there is nothing he could do right at that moment and I had to wait. So I waited, and waited for about an hour. He went about doing other busineses in the pharmacy, then as other customers walked in began to consult with him and later got their meds, I thought, how unfair! He didn't even bother to take my name down! So I was not very happy and ask him if he took down my name. The pharmacist just said, " Oh I know who you are" and went about doing his own business. I had to ask him three to four times if he took down my name before he actually went to the computer and asked me how to spell my last and first name. After that, it took less than five to six minutes for him to get it ready for me. I thought, had I not pressed on him on getting my case done, I probably would've sat there for two or maybe three hours waiting for this parmacist to get his act together serve his customers! I was very mad!! I only gave a "D" for professionalism because the cashier apologized to me of the incident. There were another couple just sitting there waiting, I really wonder if the pharmacist was doing what he was suppose to be doing! I told him, I actually have to wait longer for me to come down here to the store to get the medicine than for me to call in. His reply was, "You should've called in, becasue there would've been other people here and so you would'nt have to wait to pick it up!" My thought is, was that an act of punishment to try to teach his customers to call in for their refills so he does not have to do his job when customers come in at night in such an emergency situation?! I spent way too much money on medications in this pharmacy and its underserving for their workers to treat their customers like this! Not the first bad incident here.

They are very good. We go there all the time. I have never had a problem with them. I don't have a clue about their price. Their pharmacist is always willing to answer any questions that we may have. When my children were younger, they picked up a prescription issue that they called me about and had me double-check with the doctor to make sure that the prescription was what they wanted because they were concerned that it might have interacted with something else one of my kids was taking. I can't remember what the medication was or what it was for, but I do remember receiving the call. They do have a system where they red-flag potential medicine pharmacological interactions and they have us call our doctor and just confirm.

I have had a fine experience working with CVS Pharmacy. They get us the correct prescriptions, however it is not in a particularly speedy way. They are nice enough, however I would not say that they are overly friendly.

Their cost is lower than that at a conventional drug store and they?ve been pretty efficient at getting the few prescriptions that I?ve had. Most of the time, my needs and those of my wife?s, are generic.
